Cowboys are good shooters and excellent horsemen: A cowboy is a master of the gun. That is the reason why cowboys do what they pleased. There is no law for them in Western, they steal and capture other´s animals every time they wish.
You are a cow from a famous farmer. In this big farmhouse you have a peaceful life with other cows: You are fed, washed and milked and you usually graze on the field for hours. Everything is fine but for the cowboys. They used to come from time to time to the field to steal some cows. When that happens your only chance to escape is to run as fast as you can dodging every cowboy you find.
It is a difficult race for a cow because cowboys are excellent horsemen and they usually come with their horses... but it is worth to try: dodge every cowboy trying to catch you in a survival race in the Old West:
