Worms 2: Armageddon

Great start, fun to play in this format. AI is freakish with the bazooka even on easy to the point it is ridiculous. Fix that up asap or you'll lose new players. You should bring something new to the table - new weapons etc. Maybe do a deal with a movie and do a zombie theme or something. Msg me if you want my ideas.

Out of all the games I have played this ones the best. The Only thing I would do is when you have your go, drop a crate, and slightly reduce the price of stuff in store. The game is lag free, the campaign is excellent, and no probs with the game. If you have an Xbox360 I would get it on that to. Please reply makers of this game you are the best

How can you beat the AI that makes no mistakes. Kills your worm before you can control them and you only get 3 worms versus like ten of them. Other then that, good game. Just make it beatable, not if you are extremely lucky.

Awsome game. 5+ stars. Me and kids play it every time we in line waiting or in flight. The best way to pass time. It is fun with levels and you can customize your own games for hot seat to play with friends or against coputers.

The game rocks on consoles. But on this it lags so often it takes away from the experience. Half the time my worm seemingly at random jumps off the map or won't move to the left

great addictive game. Only problem is the glitches, if you can call it that. 2 taps should mean backflip. But in reality it means "might jump forward, might jump back" sometimes you tap to detinate something and it just doesnt register. And these things can cost the game. If these glitches were fixed it would have got a 5 stars from me

Whereas the original PC version of Worms Armageddon was pure knuckleheaded fun, the mobile port represents an exercise in futility. Gameplay is needlessly fiddly & counterintuitive, which results in frustrating cock ups at every turn. AI is inconsistent, sometimes impossibly smart & sometimes painfully stupid in the same game. If Team 17 wanted to make a worthwhile game they needed to do more than just reproduce the PC game & expect the touch screen to be adequate. Total waste of a couple of dollars.

Controls are terrible. Game is mostly intact but it bothers me that multiplayer can only be played over WiFi LAN. I don't know anyone else who has the game so how am I supposed to play multiplayer?

I would like to give you five stars, but I will do it when you'll fix the latency I can encounter. Indeed, there is a latency between my actions and the moment when the game reacts (~0.5s). So, in facts, I hit the screen, and I see the action & I hear its sound after, this is significatively peturbing the gameplay. Please fix it, and I will give you five stars!

There are so many multiplayer bugs, i don't know where to start. Please fix them. And if you'd like a list of them, let me know Team 17. I'm almost skeptical to spend my money when this comes out for the Xbox One.

The look of the game is great but on a 2nd gen Nexus 7 audio has only worked once. 4 out 5 star otherwise. EDIT: Just saw note about kit Kat issue. Will revise review with update. Revised 1/17 - audio fixed and as is good in the world. Game is good silent but worms were meant to be heard (and blown up) not just seen.

The reliance on being connected to the server means that if your connection is not the strongest the game is next to unplayable. For a while there I had no control over the amount of power I was using to fire my weapons. I would press the button for the desired power but it would always fire at full power. Until that's fixed the game will be very hard to do anything in and won't get a higher rating from me. =(

I love this game! Awesome gameplay; the controls for mobile are great; plenty of play time in this. The only problem, and it's a major one, is that the audio doesn't work. I have a Nexus 4 running Android 4.4.2, and there are no sounds in the game at all. This is very disappointing sounds are a major part of the game, and to not have them kind of ruins the fun. Especially considering the price. Edit: Update fixed the sound! Great job, Team 17. Love the game.

I just want to say that I love the worms franchise, I still play worms Armageddon on pc to this day, which is why when I seen this app I decided to buy it. It is a lot more like worms reloaded than Armageddon which is fine as its great too. But my issue is that I have the game on Android (Galaxy s5) and some of my friends have it on ios (iPhone 5s) and we cant connect together on multiplayer? is this because the platforms aren't compatible as I can find my android tablet no problem. it would be great if the game could become compatible for all phones as its a great game!

Worms in 2014 is the same as worms in 1997. Nothing has changed. They add/remove some weapons just to differ each version. Not creative at all. At least let us customize each worm in the team. Change the looks and weapon specialties of each worm. Perhaps each worm have different stats. People can buy new worms with different abilities. Be creative. To the people who are still thinking about this game, its just the same as PC version, just a lot less. Worms are worms. Try Worms 3. I didn't try that yet.

Good game and definitely like it used to be. Worth paying for. BUT if you have 2 devices and would like to play on either at a seperate time it won't share your information (saves, teams etc) even though you are signed into google so you can only play on 1 device. Shame

Sometimes by multiplayer game type joining different rooms will not work from the first time you want enter them(or when you create yourself one of your own).You must refresh the connection several times and I strongly advise you to have a good Wi-fi signal ,so that the game will work very smooth. But the game will work even if you have a weaker signal.

Brilliant game! Remember playing this when I was younger! Got an issue with the latest update though. The game seems to be making false touch screen inputs for me. E.g. not releasing when I'm charging a weapon to fire or the aiming is all over the place and some buttons in the menu flicker like mad as though I'm mashing them. The phone is working perfectly on other games and apps though. Cheers! :-)

Hey love worms fav game but multiplayer never let me play a friend only randoms! Then 4 days ago it crashed completely !!! Says can't find license server and my gf has iPhone 5 n hers works what do I do? Loved this game fix pls

How do you guarantee a losing game every time? Answer: Disable your player's ability to move only in one direction. Yes you heard me. This is rudimentary developer stuff. Get your act together or give me refund. Please fix the directional controls.

I loved this game on X box arcade every version I've played has always been fun and great way to pass time. Being able to change visual of worms from language to clothes is very cool!! Even got the wife to start playing and now it's hard to get my turn unless playing vs each other I'm which she " wins " haha fun way to play game with a women who hates games

So I bought this game for myself and my gf; she has an iPhone and I have android. Whenever I try and host a game she can't find it, and vice versa. Only reason I bought it was so we could play each other but it doesn't even work!! Please fix this or I will have to delete it and demand my money back!!!

Loved worms since day 1! Great game, not watered down and everything works great except for the one thing we all play this game for, the multi player. I am averaging a working game once every 15-25 attempts it just constantly doesn't connect or boots you when the map is loading. If the multi player was fixed i'd rate this 5 stars!

Maybe I should have been more specific as your reply did not help. I'm well aware of how the multiple player works. Why can't you add a simple action to invite a friend to play, without having to contact them manually to exchange room names... it's so backwards, it's 2014 already guys. This is before we get onto lack mobile network support... I have 4G but can't make use of it with this game? Why not? For the record, I've still yet to successfully host or join network game with my friend, even on his (perfectly functioning) home network, it fails to establish a the game even when we're both already in the lobby.

I was really looking forward to playing a local multiplayer game with my kids. I was unable to figure out how to do this. Following a comment to original feedback I contacted the support team. Had extremely prompt response telling me what to do. Thank you so much, great customer service. V happy

Worms really lends itself to a touch screen device. Enjoying this game a lot more than I thought I would. My only gripes are heavy battery use and double jump not working on occasion. Thanks for supporting Android and Linux Team 17!

yeah, this is great and my childhood is in this game... but there's a lot of sound bugs and sometimes some firing bugs too. sound is missing when worms dies or jump and sometimes when walking, and when i fired the full speed shot with a bazooka the worm didn't received the full damage like others worms games. and it actualy happens a lot. could you fix that up, please?

Well i have played Worms for a very long time i think i was in 6th Grade. And now im already 2nd yr college. Here in the Philippines i really loved Playing worms i hope there more to come wish you all the best for the creator and producers for this game

I love this game. Loved it when it came out years ago, but then I had a physical keyboard allowing me full control. Now I'm left with a buggy control system where it is difficult to fine tune your jumps, jump backs, rope and jet pack control. Sort out the control system and it will be five stars all the way. At the moment I'm struggling on campaign 31 solely because the worm keeps jumping instead of jumping backwards when I double tap

The game is fun to play and I am quite enjoying it. But when ever I am navigating through the menu or creating names for my worms, there is like a one to two second delay for a response. It isn't that big of a bug, but I do like it fixed soon because it is kind of hard to go anywhere without lag. Gameplay is mostly fine, but it does experience a slight delay in movements from time to time.

This is like Gunbound that I used to play 10 years ago... Long time searched a game like this and finally I found it... Great game... But maybe u can customize the worms to be bigger and using soldier uniform or other unique uniforms, so we all not boring to see these worms.

Decent graphics, clunky touch controls, limited control/weapon info, wifi only multiplayer....just average...shame. - amendments : clunky is being kind, the touch delay makes the game infuriating. Has just developed a force close during campaign mode. Cant help but feel maybe team 17 should have gotten someone with a clue about android to polish this.

Great to see the sound fixed. My only issues now are, the screen goes black when one turn ends and another is about to begin. Is this part of the design or a bug? And at the moment navigating the menu is very laggy. Note 3, Android 4.4.3

It has the same depth, strategy, and humour as the classic PC game. Controls very well on my nexus 7. My only complaint (if it can be called one) is the difficulty. It gets extraordinarily difficult to defeat the AI as the campaign goes along.

There are weapons at the bottom which I cannot see the tabs for as my game does not allow me to scroll down and I know they are there because my friend can access them on his iPhone. Plz help / udate

Sadly a 5 inch display is not large enough to offer comfortable play. It should say tablet only. Return option didn't work, not even within 15 minutes from the purchase.

Doesn't seem like I can play multiplayer without a WiFi connection, kinda miffed.

It's an incredibly fun, yet still challenging turn-based game. Some people say the controls are bad, but they seem fine to me!

The game is brilliant same kind of style to the Xbox version I play but sometimes when you want to do a double jump you do a single and you kill yourself or loose life and lose your turn. This may just be my devise though on the other hand the game is first class

Best game I've got on my phone but recently when I've gone to open the app it doesn't load and comes up with "Licence Server Issue" "Unable to contact the license server - please try again later". How can I fix this? Or is it just due to my phone being on its way out?
