It would be nice if it was was more difficult it's too small of a portion of it for the dice.

It's very well done. The only thing I wish different is that you need 300 points with every turn in order to score. I thought that was the rule only before you could begin the game. I just did a round and had 7 or 8 farkles out of ten turns; it's hard to avoid farkles with only 1 or 2 dice left to roll. (Although at least four of those were on the first 'throws.')
