You're the strongest entity on earth, and you've decided to die for some reason.
A group of heroes has come to defeat you, but they're inexperienced and not at all equipped to achieve their goal.

With Every attempt though, you lose a heart, so it's hard to keep playing. And when are you supposed to unlock more characters? I'm on level 22 and still only have the first two.

It's not the first game like this. I hate when people throw out random claims as fact. That being said, good job on it.

You assign monsters to lanes, trying to space them out enough that the heroes can beat them all. Somewhat different from the traditional 'swarm enemies' model, and probably enough to make the game worth playing... except that you lose one heart every single attempt at a stage. If you want to get anywhere, expect to play for ten minutes at a time with half hour breaks.
