Isle of Bxnes

Do they even update this anymore? You can still float over islands and the last totem in not reachable. After getting third totem u r forced to the last level. I've beat this game 50+ times in various ways and level order. Please fix this I want the last totem.

I would have rated 5 stars but I had a bug issue at first boss, the queen maggot just wouldn't die, I kept killing smaller minions and hacking at queen for 30 minutes before I just opted out. This game is great, the graphics and gameplay are original, fun, and definitely worth a play.

I also ran into an invincible queen of the maggots... other than that im loving this quite a lot. Devs please do more playtesting/patching and this will be a solid 5 star game

An interesting game with complex mechanics which are spoiled by the clumsy controls and very inconsistent hit detection and attack ranges. I'd give it a higher rating but the control and combat issues make an otherwise enjoyable game frustrating.

Every time I go to play it just shuts down. Looks pretty cool too bad I'll never get to play? Anybody fixing?

From what little I could play this game was great. It keeps force closing for no reason at random times. Makes the game virtually unplayable. I really hope you guys fix it soon so I can play though the whole thing.

It's brutal, you'll hate it so much you love it. I know it's old, but if possible auto save before the game closes, hitting the back button will close the app, on reload you'll be on the raft in the previous state you left it the last time you were there, though you lose progress on that Isle it ruins permadeath, works even at the you died screen before your son takes over. :/ 5* if it's fixed :D

Looked so promising. Not an update in 2 years.

Used to be great but now has a weird cursor in the middle of my game screen that doesn't do anything when I click on it and I can't click on anything in the game. HELP

It's quite unique and has a great look and feel. If you like action rpg's with an interesting twist I recommend. Remember if you do die or come across a bug, force close the app to reload from your raft ;)

Totally worth it, amazing gameplay and an excellent ending. Still needs a little polishing, but I don't think it gets any attention.

Didn't last long the first time but thirsty for more. Worth the punt if you ask me

An amazing game and game play. Many small glitches that don't interfere with the game play to much and the abrupt ending are my only two reasons for the four stars. Never had finished the game for about two weeks than I stumble across the 'island' on my forth screen and WHAM!?! I just beat the game.

its tough. I know that's the point but its TOUGH. You really need to know what your doing in any battle because most enemies are actually strong, and boss fights, ha, well, hope you have a son so you can die then walk through because I have YET to beat a single boss. Yet, I keep going back. Every game is different, and I find myself using different strategies every time, depending on what I'm up against. Definitely a 4.5, but the playstote only allows whole numbers, so, 4, because 5 is too perfect.

I finish this game. The final boss is the space station? Interesting!! it is great about the design. I should give you five stars but it still have some problems. Could you let this game which can support the 360 or ps3 Joysticks? I annoyed on the touch screen control. It isn't sensible when I try to make some advance controls. Also I know that your company focuses on the new projects. I am looking forward to that game. Thank you for your good job.

EDIT: just faced the queen of maggots and it stopped taking damage at around 20% hp and was invincible please fix. This game was incredibly original and fun to play, though a little short (why even have an ending? Keep making it harder or different procedurally!). I would absolutely love to see new features and updates to it and that would keep me coming back to it. Overall a very fun game and excellent value. Five stars and great job.

Terrible. It is too buggy right now for permadeath. Cave man can't hit a thing, not even register a miss. One star until there's some serious fixes and becomes playable.

This game is garbage as it is utterly uncontrollable. Do not waste your money!.

Fantastic game, fun art, and very addictive gameplay. Takes a few failed tribes to get the hang of it, but then youre on your way to the top!

Game seems good, but controls are so slow on my device it isn't enjoyable.

Looked quite promising and with a lot to offer but it feels arcade and beta. 2 bugs in my first run: Queen of the maggots invincible and couldn't get skills. Cons: Repetition, dull exploration mode, dull village mode.

Only took about 4 hours to get 4 idols and reach the final island.

It took me about two weeks to beat the maggot queen. This game is HARD. Controls sometime seem glitchy and unresponsive, attack angles are inconsistent, bugs galore (including an annoying invincibility bug with the maggot queen) but this game gets so many other things right that I'll keep playing. Hoping for an update but it looks like the dev studio is busy developing other games. ;(

Great game but I beat it really quickly.

A very unique experience that blends elements from multiple genres. Your tribal choice and permadeath keep it interesting (and slightly unforgiving at times) through multiple play throughs. It could use a little more polish and once you figure the game out it can be finished in under 30 minutes. The Play Store is full of games you've played a thousand times before under different titles, Isle of Bones is a breath of fresh air that stands above a sea of mediocrity.

Crazy short/too easy/buggy controls I liked the game at first, didn't mind the controls, up until I hit an abrupt end that was more confusing than anything. Game isn't very challenging once you figure out to dodge, crazy short game. I barely unlocked my first perk before the game ended, that's BS. What's the point to breeding stats and raising a character if there isn't a campaign to use it with?? Needs to be about five times longer! Insane challenge? Buy 9th dawn for a real old school rpg

Game was serious fun but quite buggy. I liked the meaning to ending but felt it was rushed. Awaiting for similar games / content. And not making back button exit the game could prevent some accidents as game forces the orientation.

I can't believe I'm giving a game that has perma-death that you can lose completely 5*s - but it's just so cool! It is also slightly more forgiving than a single character perma-death since you can have sons, but you and they can all die on a hard island & the game will be over. You can breed more if you have the right resources and make it off an island but that isn't always that easy. The game has really nice responsive controls. It runs really smooth on Nexus 10 & looks perfectly optimized for large tablet resolution. The various tribes have different stats and it even has body location specific damage and where you are damaged affects your character differently. There are skills as well and caves and things to explore. It is just very well done overall with no sneaky IAP either.

This is the most beautiful pixel art game I've seen in a while, mobile or otherwise. Gameplay is solid. I can't bring myself to take off a star, but this really needs keyboard controls on my TF700 to completely hit the vintage RPG vibe. I'm certainly not complaining though. Keep up the amazing work, Whalenought.
