Wing Leader (Unreleased)

Wing Leader is a racing game, in which bees race to the hive, collecting nectar from flowers along the way. Your goal is not just to win races, but to be the fastest bee in the world … the Wing Leader.

SPEED AND SKILL
In Wing Leader, speed is not the only factor in winning. Being first to the hive does not guarantee victory. Your bee must collect nectar from flowers along the way. The hive expects a full load of nectar to be delivered. Anything less than that and penalty time will be added to your finish time. The winner of the race is the bee with the lowest adjusted time.

Wing Leader racing is a bit like certain Olympic events that combine time and bonus or penalty time. In canoe and kayak slalom, a two-second penalty is assessed for touching each gate as it is gone through. A 50-second penalty is added to the paddler’s time for missing the gate altogether. In Wing Leader, a 5-second penalty is added to the finish time for each unit of nectar under the expected nectar of 10 units.

WING LEADER - FASTEST BEST BEE IN THE WORLD
To be Wing Leader, your bee has to be the fastest bee in the world. It is you against all other bees in the world. Check the leaderboards to see where you stand on each of the four courses. Then check the Wing Leader leaderboard. The bee with lowest, average time across all courses is the Wing Leader.

FUN FOR ALL AGES
Wing Leader is fun for all ages. Adults and children will enjoy the challenge. For young children, there is a special set of simple controls (up and down only; speed is automatic).

USE YOUR GOOGLE PLAY GAMES ID
Your overall game experience is better when you sign in with your Google id. You will be able to see up-to-the-minute world record times within the game and on the game leaderboards.
However, you are not required to sign in. If you play without signing in, there will still be world record times displayed to you, but they won't be current. The times shown will be the records as of the time the app was last updated.

EARLY ACCESS VERSION
This app is still under development. It is being made available through Google Play's "Early Access" program. The developers of Wing Leader appreciate your willingness to try out the game and provide feedback.

To post scores and access the leaderboards, all you have to do is sign in with Google if you have the latest version of Wing Leader. If you are running an older version, you need to opt-in to the Beta testing for the game. To do that, go to https://play.google.com/apps/testing/com.wglxy.wingleader.

Four courses are supported in the current Beta test version of the game. For every race, you get a score, stars, and finish time. Once you get two stars on a level, your health is bumped +20 for that level, and the next level is unlocked. The game is playable and should have enough to keep a player focussed on improvement and competing for the Wing Leader title.

Courses will likely change some before the final release. At some point, that might mean that data on leaderboards will be reset.
