Blackjack Strategy Practice

Awesome way to play hundreds of hands quick, convenient, and to the point. The speed you can play your hands over having to deal them out for real is a huge advantage. It improves your response time, makes it almost automatic. The strategy is accurate as far as I can tell. You can shut off certain hand types to focus on weaknesses, awesome. For a fee the rules can be customized, but it's totally worth it. Stats to keep track of your strengths and weaknesses. Overall a super helpful learning tool!

Practice makes perfect. I was taught and have been passing it on, that the dealer has rules and players have emotion. Players need to remove emotion when analyzing the dealt cards and hitting, standing, doubling or splitting. The only emotion remaining is when to cash out and leave the table.

And the price is super right! No annoying ads or messages to upgrade or even donate. Highly recommend! Five stars! The new version that allows changing of rules to fit how you will be playing are nice, but too bad that the ability to change rules costs extra. One concern is what will happen to your new ability to change rules when a new version is released. Hopefully there will be some assurances and expected future changes provided by the developer. One "bug" I noticed is that when selecting just hard splits to practice, he app never gives you a "don't split" scenario, like with a dealer up card of 9-10-A (except against a player pair of 8's, which you always split.) I've emailed the developer on this, but no response so far. Hope you're listening.

It basically teachers you the best move based on your hand and what the dealer is showing. Helps minimize your losses and who knows you might win a little.

This is a nice app, but it says you should hit 15v10 with <= 6 decks when surrender is allowed. This hand should be surrendered. It also says that 15vA shouldn't be surrendered in DD H17.

Turned my game around. Other strategies either don't work against a shoe or table limits. This combined with variations on other strategies make for winning game play

Awesome practice. It tells you why you get answers wrong. It's better than getting practice at a real black jack game because you go through first hands faster.

It would be great if you could select to play a single strategy card at a time until you master it and then select another one to play.

This is great for beginners. If you are an advanced player, it is too conservative, but good for basic practice. (For example, it says that you never split 20, but for an advanced player, you know that there are times when it's ok)

Really love this trainer. Gives rule everytime you pick wrong. Just wish there was more space between the hit and stand. It is easy to hit wrong button.

Works. I'm leery of the splitting 4's but some charts concur. Some forums don't however.

This is the blackjack drilling app I've always wanted. No cheesy game play, just rapid drilling with no silly frills. Stats are awesome, too. Plus it has the ability to let you choose which types of hands you're drilling on.

I just wish I could have chosen the rules I wanted the first time and then hiding the rest of them behind the pay wall

After you pay for the game itself, they still want more money to add this or that. I really like the game that's why I paid for it.. But come on?

Just a great way to practice your basic strategy. Being able to edit what hands are dealt help to focus on weak areas of your memory.

Good basic teacher. Wish it told you why you got a hand correct, instead of only telling you why you got a hand wrong.

Forces you to pay for every single alternate iteration of the game. Totally useless when there are pages of other apps that offer that same functionality for free. This was an immediate uninstall.

Stable, nice interface. Does what it says it will do, effectively teach you basic strategy. Would love to see a hi-lo count trainer incorporated into it.

I like this game, and it has helped me learn...although I do wish there were a more 'active' algorithm to help me remember the less common actions when dealing with certain hands, like splits...ie; like the only time to split 4's is with a dealer's 5 or 6.

Really great drill, excellent stats to identify areas of weakness. Prepped me to play solid winning blackjack in Vegas.
