Fantastic Beasts for Android
Very much feels untested and incomplete. You can't tilt your head, things are FAR too close, and it's by far the slowest to do anything (and drops the most frames) of any daydream app so far. They even uploaded the left/right eye images backwards in the in-vr app store!
Really bad frame rate. Works fine when not moving your head, but as soon as you start to move your head and look around, it gets really jittery and causes minor motion sickness. Needs some serious optimization to smooth out the video. *Using Moto Z Force.
I look forward to playing this more in the future when they add more. You can get through the content of this in about 15 minutes. Everything is beautiful and immersive. It is an excellent preview of what to come, but it is no complete game.
I had some weird double vision issues and the tracking of the wand could be improved. But, this is a beautiful demo of the power of VR. When a full length game is made, I'll hand over my money.
I was expecting just a fluff app for the movie, and was pleasantly surprised by the amazing visuals. What a great experience! I found myself a little nervous with a few of the "beasts" when you meet them. Very cool.
It's beautiful but it's not really a game. It's a demo of what VR can do. From that point of view it's pretty cool, but it's disappointing otherwise... Makes me worry about the future of VR since there really aren't any real games that look like this.
This was fun. I was upset when I found out it is over pretty quickly but the visuals in VR when the beast are up close are amazing. The tracking of the wand does get a little wonky but not a big deal. I hope we get more out of this game / demo ;)
It's well done and looks fantastic! Yes it's short, but it's free and there's no ads or IAPs. If they charged money for this I would expect more content, but as it is now I can't see how people are complaining. Good job devs!
Neat... Now what? I can visit these 3 creatures... Anything else? Looks nice, but needs more. Maybe (now that the mechanics are there), make a game out of it.
As a long time Harry Potter fan I was so excited when my Moto Z Droid was announced as Daydream Ready. This was one of the first games I played and was gravely disappointed that the frame rate was making it difficult to look around once I was in the workshop area. What's worse was when I opened the map and selected a beast, the app closed out to my phone's menu. I will re-rate when these issues are addressed. I really wanted to play this one, especially after seeing the movie!
The game was really immersive, really feels like your in the Harry potter universe. Only criticism is the length of the experience, absolute maximum is 15 mins of play time
Great teaser. It has a great first person VR experience and I understand why it was in all of the Daydream previews and demos, but calling it a game is like calling pigeon an eagle. It has the elements and potential of a game, but it's over as soon as the tutorial part ends. Where the actual game usually starts...
There is not a lot of content, but what content is there is really well done. If you're a fan of Harry Potter or fantasy there is a good chance you'll like this app.
The "game" is very short - really a few minutes, and a so-so control scheme. Beautiful visuals, though
The visuals is Fantastic, but the gameplay is lacking. It's over in a couple minutes. Wish their was more to do with this. It is free and worth trying tho.
I thought there was going to be more to this. It was amazing as far as it goes but very little to do in it.
I like Harry Potter as much as any other average fan, but there was nothing to this. Only a child would be impressed by this "game." Sure, it's pretty, but that's all its got going for it.
It's a great demo of the basic technology daydream offers, but there isn't much to do.
Done in 5 to 15 minutes, depending how long you'll "play" with the environment.
Fun for kids maybe, got bored real quick. Fun to play around with for a few though.
People get this app for free, the demo is short but in good quality. I don't see why people complain about it.
Very impressive demo of what VR is capable of. Not really a game but sound effects and voice acting are very impressive.
Great experience, but only about 10 min of entertainment. A good start on the right path.
Great game and visuals!
Nice visuals, but really short and a simple control scheme
Wish there was more to it.
beautiful but utterly boring and short
Amazing 3D audio, and great game!
Ehh
This is just a crazy! Fantastic Beasts is not so much a game as it is an Interactive showpiece. Use your wand to manipulate objects, cast spells and get up close with some of the unusual beasts from the movie. The animation and physics on the creatures are very convincing. Yeah, we know the Daydream View doesn't support positional tracking, but holy crap is this stunning. A perfect go-to app when you want to show someone what the Daydream is capable of.
The in-game visual and controls are great!!! A great example of what phone VR can do! However, the Pixel XL is uncomfortably hot after only a few minutes playing. The narrators performance is... lack-luster and depressing, ruining the experience for me.
Didn't know this type of quality experience was possible with mobile VR. A truly fantastic experience. Hope to see much more from the devs that made this.
A visual masterpiece. A lot to see and interact with. Still basic 'gameplay' but the best i've seen so far on mobile! (using my Nexus 6P)
This is an excellent VR experience. I hope the full fantastic beasts cases is VR as well.
Awesome! Love it
Amazing experience
Beautiful graphics and uses the daydream remote nicely. A little short but cool
Easy to use and the most fun I've had in a long time with a 360 game!
There needs to be more content

Yea it's pretty cool, but it's over in about 5 minutes... Really? You "find" the three beasts and then this "game" is done. I can't believe how much hype they put into this for such a short experience. Maybe it's better for die-hard HP fans but this was really disappointing
