Shivah for Android
Still love Wadjet Eye's first commercial release, as well as ALL their other games. Thank you Dave and Janet!
Very entertaining game
I've played all of Wadjet Eye's games, and this one wasn't as great as the Blackwell Series, but still a good game. Only knocked a * off because it was so short. Thanks Wadjet!
Very good but far too short. Wadjet sure know how to make a good adventure game with great characters and stories - so much so that i was very disappointed when i finished this! I was just getting really engrossed! Would have been 4 or 5 stars if there was more.....
Very short lenght and shallow gameplay almost compensated by original theme, likeable characters and solid voice acting.
Best in mobile gaming!
Boring, short, the puzzles are not fun.. Basically the end game voice over's makes this .. Lack of a game.. Skip it, get Gemini Rue
Not a long game but very playable. Worth the money.
One of the best so far.
I still love it for the atmosphere and unique protagonist selection
The moral story behind the game is great. unique plot with the jewish world.But..The game crashed several times, monotonous, has terrible graphics(they could have worked that out more for the price)Not long and the player is challenged and involved not much. You just tap on answers which eventually lead to the same outcome, no option of combining items. The end is hero like but takes the whole fun and kindof plain. And then the thing with login on rabbiPC: how was I supposed to know the code?got me stuck
I appreciated the game and the atmosphere really catched me from the beginning. The porting to android is almost flawless. The only reason i give four stars instead of five is for the length, around two hours for the first play.
Good game just far to short. Characters and story well thought out though. Just leaves you wanting more than one short case.
For the price it has now that shouldn't be a problem but it's very very short. But it's deep and very interesting. There's a fair share of Jewish characters in media but I can't recall another game when you are one of them and put in their shoes. For the rest it's just a classic point and click adventure game
A nice insight into the jewish faith via a well written murder mystery. Unlike most adventure games, Shivah (and the rest of wadjet eye games) follows a much more down-to-earth logic accessible to a normal person willing to apply his brain. Fully voiced and beautifully drawn game, well worth your time, however short it may be.
Random theme but amazing graphics and gameplay as usual
Great characters too, but its maybe a little short.
I cant move to temple location. When i type beth tikva into computer to get location to appear on map it returns no results. There is nothing else i can do???? Please help
Boring, short, the puzzles are not fun.. Basically the end game voice over's makes this .. Lack of a game.. Skip it, get Gemini Rue
Not common for games to address issues of faith. Interesting already after only a half hour and the interface is intuitive.
Enjoyed the atmosphere, dialogue and intriguing characters. Sadly, it's a bit short and not as rich in content as Gemini Rue.
I like the game, but not as much as the Blackwell series by the sane creator. It's a good story, but a short game. Instead of good puzzles it offers dialog trees that must be climbed very carefully -- or, of you want to experience the whole game, climbed several times from the nearest save point.
Wadjet Eye always makes quality adventure games.
Wow,this is a class game
Awesome story awesome game nuff said
Great game good story
Reminds me a little of Chabon's Yiddish Policeman's Union, except that the Yiddish is a little more organic for us goy. Great story, OK graphics, good voice acting. Witty and intriguing: an intelligent game for reflective thinkers.
The faith based storyline felt unique and refreshing. The plot flowed together nicely although you may need a walkthrough at the ready for certain parts of the game. The Shivah is short but the directors commentary and small asking price make it worthwhile. Anyone looking for something different and engrossing should give this a go.
These guys are no joke. If you enjoy the aesthetics of Monkey Island or Gabriel Knight you'll love every game that Wadjet puts out. Games like the Blackwell series, Primordia, Gemini Rue (also available on android), and Resonance are some of the best point and click adventures I've ever played. I never played the original Shivah, and was excited to see the remastered version here on the play store; it is a totally engrossing adventure.
It's hard to like an adventure game that is so tedious
Very entertaining game
While not quite the twisty narrative adventure Gemini Rue proved to be, Shivah is a capable point-and-click with an interesting (and educational!) Jewish twist. With slightly more difficult puzzles and prettier graphics than GR, it's at least worth a shot. Mazel tav!

Ridiculously short. So short that it's kind of a ripoff to pay for this. Other than that it's well executed and crafted, just like their other adventure games, but for like 10-20mn of gameplay. I was shocked when I realised that I had actually finished the game whilst waiting on the loading screen the next chapter.
