White Island: Season 2

I fell in love with this game. The graphics are beautiful and enhanced by the slight sway in their style. A clever game, I did stumble on the order of operations and the character v. Player knowledge, but once you understand it, it makes sense. Visual Shower needs more games. P.s. suggestion to make more money optional ads (reduce episode unlock an hour or something). All the support!

I'm in love with this game. There's nothing bad I can say about it. The graphics and characterization are impressive, the puzzles are challenging, and the story is well-crafted. The animations are gorgeous, and I find myself more and more addicted to the game the deeper I get into the story. There were twists I never saw coming, along with several bad endings if you make the wrong decision. Definitely worth the wait between each episode. I'd love to see more exposure and recognition for this wonderful game!

Update: I came back to update my review after finishing the episodes so far, in season 2. The story is once again captivating, the puzzles put your mind to work, the characters just wow and I can't wait to see how the story will develop further. I found the 3 days wait time to unlock an episode perfectly resonable, considering it's free, and when curiosity took over, I paid a fair price to unlock some episodes. Over all, the game is still amazing and love the fact that it gives the option to play it completely free,making it accessible for everyone. Keep up the great work and grats to your whole team for this game! :) Love the story, the graphics, the music and the gameplay. I had high expectations after watching the trailer and it reached beyond them. Keep up the good work, can't wait for new episodes.

The only thing I don't like is the 3 day wait. But other then that the characters, graphics and music are amazing, truly this is not your typical find the hidden picture game. (Awesome work people). Oh and could you Please make season 2 just as good or better..?

So I installed the game and was looking forward to it coz I heard a lot abt it and to my surprise it lags a lot like really laggy. My device is also new. I am using a redmi note 3 which has a snapdragon 650 and adreno 510 so I don't think my device is the issue. Plz fix this and I'll give the rest of the stars asap.

This is easily my favourite game on the android os. I love the interactions between the characters, plot and setting. The optional, not necessary micro transaction system is very respectable in a market that in my experience is seemingly full of pay to win games that feature countless pay-walls. White Island really stands out.

The game itself is pretty neat. My only hang up is when I tried to connect with my Google account I kept getting a "Connection Unstable (0014)" message. I'd prefer to have connected to my Google instead of creating an account for the website itself as I don't like having alot of different accounts. Other than that it's good.

One of the few good visual novels with hidden object gameplay. Decent story with good pictures. There is nothing that makes it stand out but the mystery is what keeps you playing. Unless you pay humorous prices you're forced to wait over 3 days so don't expect this to replace anything.

I absolutely love this game. The plot is amazing and unexpected, which is very good, cause it makes the game exciting and not boring. The gameplay and the graphics are perfect. The only thing I could complain about, is that you take too long to update an episode! How can anyone wait that long?! But aside from that, this game is pretty much flawless! Congratulations and keep the good work up!!

Very cool. EXCEPT for the waiting between episodes. I understand waiting for free play but 2 1/2 days for "White Island 1 & 2" is a bit much. But, it could b worse like "Beyond the Bounds", their other point-n-click adventure game. That one's 6 1/2 day wait between episodes. Now that is "beyond" ridiculous! For realz guys, u can shorten the time, especially since that game is nowhere near as good as "White Island" is.

How do you rate something over 5 stars? This is literally the best game I have ever played. The puzzles are very challenging and are equally as rewarding. The graphics and sound effects are a nice touch as well. I enjoyed the first season very much, and found the story rather original. One could easily see the effort put into a game such as this. I will be honest, the first season was superior to the second but man, you guys have outdone yourselves (with the latest episodes for the second season). Good job at making such a well rounded game, VisualShower! Also, there are many people talking about lag and crashes but I haven't experienced any on a five year old Samsung Galaxy Note II.

When I first started this game I didn't know what to expect, but right from the prologue it grabbed my attention by the horns and rode it like a cowboy. Then I saw the three day wait time and thought well I'm in this for the long hall. I mean don't you guys think three is a bit excessive? Not like it matters I would wait a week if I had to, and if I had money I wouldn't give it a second thought to support you guys. Anyway thanks for the new story and I'm hoping it just gets better.

Overall its a really great game! One of the best i've played to be honest... however im having some provlems with season 2 chapter 2! I am unable to proceed... after looking at youtube tutorials, I realize that you will still be holding the Key card you found from the locker in Chapter 1! However i am holding the glass shard and medication oil only... may I know if im doing something wrong please?

Update: I like the episodic feel of the game, but not sure why the text isn't fully hidden before it shows. Kind of turns off the immersion. Also no one likes 2-day long time gated episodes like that. Might as well make the entire game buy 2 play for the entire game and skip the microtransactions. (My feedback stands with BtB only I liked that BtB lasted longer.)

The story is great, it draws you in. The puzels are difficult at times but always satisfying when completed. The only draw back is waiting 2 days to unlock a episode for free, it seems like it takes forever to get them.

Hight of awesomeness!!!!! I am in love with it. It's so challenging, tricky n cool.. I know that this is not the only game which has choices but it's not only about choices, it's about the awesome story it has..if five star weren't the limits I would hv given it

I accidentally played season 2 first instead of season 1, so I don't know yet what actually happens first. But season 2 is so sad, I finished the available episodes yesterday and I'm still distraught. I know that it's not gonna happen, but because they took her corpse I just hope that somehow the little sister gets revived or something... It's so sad she died in pain and I can't help but root for a happy ending where she comes back somehow. I know it won't happen, but I still look forward to seeing how season 2 ends.

A really good game. I did give it 5 stars but if I could, I would give it 10. It's one of the only mystery games that a) Keeps me hooked b) Impresses me with its graphics c) Seems to get better every day d) I actually need to think to solve the 'puzzles'. Everything is linked. Everything has a purpose. Every chapter is worth waiting for, but I still feel like I'm being tortured cause I've been waiting for chapter 8 of season 2 but I can't play it yet because I do not have ANY 'manda'. But really, taking in all faults (very very few), It's a great game. So thank you for this game. I am hoping and waiting for more like this game. Mysterious and, well, interesting!

Wonderful art and gaming experience so far. But I'm wondering, why is episode 3 and 4 of season 2 still locked when it announced on the news page that it is available for early access.

I only just got this app but wow im really loving it! The graphics are amazing, and the dialogue has purpose, it doesn't bore me or seem unnecessary. The characters each have their own personality and the puzzles itself are fun and really make you think. The story so far is astounding and you have to actually make links and decify riddles to get through it. The only problem is the waiting time, I'm willing to pay but some may not be able to so 3 days is quite a long time. But wow, everything else has little to no faults!

It sucks that we have to wait for 3 days to play the next episode. Please make the timing shorter like 2 to 3 hrs. Overall the game is awesome fantastic graphics and the story line is also very good!!

There's something wrong with the app. Whenever I open it, I get bounced back into the intro screen. I've tried restarting my phone and even reinstalling the app but none of it works. I just can't get into the story selection page. Can you tell me how this can be fixed? I really like the game but I can't play it anymore due to this bug. Once it's fixed, I'll rate WI back to 5 stars. Thank you.

I love it. I havent started playing yet but I'm goin to soon. Before I do I'm curious. I never finished season 1. Will I be able to go back and complete it as well? Or is there somewhere I can complete the first season

Storyline, graphics, puzzles, music and everything was awesome for S1 but lacking in S2. S2 storyline is confusing so far, it doesn't hold the element of suspense or depth (really linear and clear actually), episode difficulty is ridiculously easy (may be due to it being in early stages), music is lacking, graphics are nice (but not S1 nice) and puzzles are disappointing (if you can call them that). In short S2 falls disapointedly short on appeal compared to S1.

There's a part where you're supposed to defend your friend by grabbing the skull along with the chain earlier, but it won't let me. I can only get it when the attack begins, and when I do grab it , it gives me a game over. How can I leave this scene if I'm pretty much trapped.

Hohoho, this game just getting better and better.. unexpected storyline that makes me feel angry, sad, emotional.. if there are 10 stars of rating, I would rate 11 :)

I love this game. It's so demanding and well made. The story is original and mind-blowing, it makes you wonder what is going to happen next. The characters are just so complex and the idea of many-perspective makes the game better.

I love this game even though it gave me a lot of JUMPERSCARE... why? I play this the dark room to give suspense but it was a very BAD idea for me. If anyone wants to try I dare you! !!

I love playing this. Motion and the reading is lovely. Its seriously one of my favorite games to go after, I love the 2nd part. Only thing is the waiting 3 days..

The atmosphere and setting are interesting, but the game won't let me continue to play any further. In Season 1 Episode 1, at the start where the game prompts you to purchase the free focus lens, after purchasing them it redirects me back to the same button at the top right. After selecting it again, the same purchase page opens and I'm stuck, unable to select or interact with anything. Episode 1 is completely unplayable, as it forces me into buying the focus lens, which effectively stops me from doing anything else. I really want to continue playing, please help me resolve this issue.

Although pretty much everything about the game seems perfect to me, it could be even better if we could earn Manda by watching ads too. Other than that, this game has kept me on the edge of my seat no matter how many times I repeat an episode.

Update: Game got me hooked, just got a game over and was so lazy to redo from beginning that I bought mandas. I used them directly to replay before the game over and finished the chapter. However,,,,it did not captured my replay!!! I paid almost £1 just to replay a chapter and it did not work?? Rubbish. No way I will ever buy manda again. The game supposedly have save load function but never know how to save, was never explained as well. Rubbish controls, unacceptable bugs, so-so graphics, very expensive and not worth the money (Steins Gate on PC with much better graphics and controls are more worth it). The only good thing about this app is the story. Unfortunately, getting annoyed just because of a game is not worth it.

This game is so much fun and immersive! I actually love the waiting time as it's not too long and keeps you interested in the game in my personal experience. I thoroughly enjoy the fact that we can wait 3 days to play each episode. So a big thank you to the creators

I've paid for manda and bought season 1 set excited to play but game crashes in ep1 just during tutorial part of clicking focus lense and could not play at all. I'd like refund on this or have a way to play the game... really upsetting since i spent good amount of money.

I personally enjoyed the game but one major drawback for me that stops me from giving it 5 stars is the fact that I have to wait almost 3 days to be able to play the next episode. I understand the devs probably want to give an incentive to purchase ingame credit or season passes, but making ppl who are unable to pay but still interested in playing the game wait 3 DAYS is insane. The game however is still really good once you look past this infuriating wait

I love the story so far. I've only completed chapter 4 but so far it was great. But is season 2 linked to the first season 1 because I've seen screenshots of season 2 and theres new characters in it. Thanks! (Sorry for my English, not a native English speaker.) I've played all though season 0 it says. Is the second season the following to it?

This game so damn EPIC!. Seriously I underestimate this game but then I realize the game is based how wise yur action is.Plus with the graphic and audio making it more creepy and U may fall into the world of confusion.

I just finished playing the intros for both season 1 and 2, and I honestly loved it. However, if you didn't have to wait two days for the next chapter/episode, I would've rated 5 stars. The suspense the waiting gives me really annoys me, so I'm going to have to give it a 4 star rating, sorry. If you're able to go to the next episode instantly (without buying in game purchases), then I would gladly edit my 4 star rating to 5.
