This is probably one of the most addictive games I have ever played. You really have to think your way thru the harder words, which is doable, and you feel darn good about yourself when you finish the game. I prefer non-timed games so it's worth the money to buy the game. Now, I'm waiting for the second series!

I've been playing this game for over a year .. If you're looking for a great game like I recommend this one . I've tried other games similar and didn't like them. :)

There's really not much to keep you playing. You don't get to a higher level as in Text Twist. It's nothing like Scrabble where letters have to fit in. Over priced!

***UPDATE: Game allows me to give up on a round HOWEVER once I do then no matter how high my score is it will not be posted to the leader boards. Which really stinks because, well if I finally get to round 400 I want bragging rights! Frequently updated, which is great, but often glitchy. This latest update has left me unable to give up on a round. Often I'm stuck waiting for the time to run out. I hope they fix soon.

... Could be a bit smoother/faster. & would be great if u could PLAY AGAINST OTHERS ONLINE!!

My favorite! Had this for a couple years now. Did I mention that I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!! Unfortunately the menu doesn't work on my new Note 5. Can this be fixed?...please.....update......back to 5 stars! Fixed the menu for Samsung. Did I mention I LOVE THIS GAME!!!!!

because it uses archaic words, words with NO definitions and re-uses archaic/obsolete words when there are other words that COULD BE USED but the game won't accept. SKUA for crying out loud-has no definition in YOUR dictionary! It disallows hewn, primo, shorn, tech, puled, mega. Your dictionary allows: nevi, comae, mage, apse, haded, ankh, hake...but doesn't accept hen!? Ridiculous!

Played the game for days to build points only to lose for not getting the longest word of 12 possible. The word?: recce!! An obscure, archaic, foreign word that I doubt linguists have heard of. I thought this game was for every day people not literary professors. Screw this f***ing game. ps After the game I entered the letters in my Scrabble helper. Recce didn't show up there either.

Addicting! But I would recommend a serious word bank update, some of the archaic words are fine, you learn them as you play. There are words used everday that you do not accept. Otherwise, fun and frustrating!

My menu no longer works, so I can't stop the game if I want. I actually have to wait for the 2 minute clock to run down. I've read previous posts with the same complaint. Even when there are no letters present the menu button does not work. Why was the menu button disabled? *********9/6/15 the 3 bars on the left worked until about 3 weeks ago. Now they do not! That's why submitted the negative review.

Surprised that this isn't a top three app. Best game ever. I usually delete games within a three week time frame. I had this game since 2010. Love it. You should also have a save points for when we switch phones lol.

The menu function is broken so you're unable to give up on a level (even when no letters are selected) very frustrating

Some of the words in the dictionary aren't even commonly used in the english language. "Milieu"? That is a french word. Giving it one star because the developer thought I was cheating and wouldn't post my high scores for quite some time. Now people get like ten times my score in a comparable amount of time.

I really like this game but the choice of allowable words is oddly inconsistent. Bicarb but not carb. Taco but not soba. Many more. And some allowable words come up as not found when I search for the definition. But I do enjoy playing a lot.

Really enjoy this. One of the best word games. Totally worth it.

If you like word games you will love this. I even use it for english tutoring. Worth the money.

Would give it 5 if someone can explain how players have millions of points in the timed mode.
