About Lava Inc. for Cardboard

The famous Lava Inc. VR Experience* is now available on your Google Cardboard, Durovis Dive etc.!

Lava Inc. is a fictional company that refines lava for numerous purposes. The factory is closed in the weekend so the employee's thought it would be fun to create some sort of rollercoaster experience through the building.
The factory is located deep underground and has different rooms that contain a lot of lava! I mean.. who wouldn't want to have a box full of lava :) !

Lava Inc. is known as one of the most valued Oculus Rift experiences and scores a solid 4.4/5 based on 118 ratings. It has been downloaded over a 10.000 times and is a favorite of the Rift community since its release in August 2014. This time it is available for your Android device!

* This application works in split-screen mode and requires a headset - like Google Cardboard - with lenses to be viewed correctly.

Constantly drifts to the right. This is probably due to it not actually being cardboard, just 2 screens. But the ride was nice and peaceful with great atmosphere. But I am going to refund because of these problems.

G70%
by G####:

Brilliant. I have no words

The designs of the decal is quite good, but I don't recommend buying this game. Your just actually going around in circles. But why would be 50p? It wastes lots of you time in your life.

Beautiful, crisp graphics and smooth motion, but it drifts terribly. By the time I have completed a full cycle I've had to rotate at least 90 degrees. Love the quiet sounds too. Peaceful.

P70%
by P####:

Really fun experience and it feels nice and polished. I would have liked a faster speed but that's a preference. Check this app out!

Not nearly as good as the oculus rift version.

This VR experience is only ok. The pros: Good graphics, Good sound, Good frame rate, Cons: Very boring, Nothing much to look at. For the best roller coaster app check out Cmoar Roller Coaster.

Would not let me refund button in store it even had a refund give money back

M70%
by M####:

Unfortunately you cannot control the speed of the coaster, which you can on the oculus rift, and it shows the rift version in the demo video. A well made coaster but very slow for most of the way speeding up at the end.

M70%
by M####:

A little boring, but very good frame rate and audio.

G70%
by G####:

Definitely worth a go!

Y70%

Please keep making apps like this, really really good and smooth, love it.

M70%

Quite immersive and looks nice, but i think its very slow for a rollercoaster. If it was faster i think it would have been worth the dollar

M70%
by M####:

Most immersive Rollercoaster for the cardboard I've played yet by far

M70%
by M####:

It's boring and the lag in the motion tracking makes me want to throw up.

Best ride for vr on the app store

R70%

Best vr demo so far

Q70%
by Q####:

Its a cheaply made rollercoaster demo. Definitely not worth the dollar they expect you to pay. There are other actual games out there that look better.

Q70%
by Q####:

This roller coaster ride is very immersive. It runs very smooth and invites to look around. The blue tracks are slow, but the yellow track in the middle is fun.

T70%
by T####:

Really fun experience and it feels nice and polished. I would have liked a faster speed but that's a preference. Check this app out!

C70%
by C####:

Most definitely worth for the experience if you have Google cardboard and a spare dollar.

W70%
by W####:

This ride starts out in an area that has a very portalesque feel and turns into an exciting ride before it gets boring. This is the second vr ride app I would demo for people after the free fibrum coaster. $1 is relatively expensive compared to the value of other $1 apps.

A70%
by A####:

Lava, Inc. is probably the most fantastic Cardboard app I've used yet! Absolutely immersive and totally mind-blowing!

Q70%
by Q####:

Very nice and smooth VR. The best Android experience so far.

Q70%
by Q####:

My favorite demo / ride so far. Would like to be able to control speed using the button on Google cardboard. Dont listed to that other review... this is well worth a dollar or 50p

Y70%
by Y####:

Beautiful visuals, thoroughly enjoyed the experience! Definitely worth the 50p.

Q70%
by Q####:

Works great on One Plus One

Q70%
by Q####:

Experience is smooth and fluid, and everything looks quite nice. The main thing I'd like to see added in the future is just a general 'start screen' deal that can be triggered to start the experience with the magnet sensor. As it is now, launching the app must be done via the touch screen, and it immediately starts the experience, so you're scrambling to get your phone in the cardboard.
