Historia Battles Napoleon is a 2D multiplatform turn-based strategy game reproducing real historical battles. Inspired by classic chess game and traditional war board game, the main game design philosophy is player involvement in real historical context, fun and challenge, keeping low game complexity and time to learn.
The reproduced battles are:
- 1798 A.D. Abukir Naval Battle (Trial)
- 1801 A.D. Marengo Battle
- 1805 A.D. Austerlitz Battle
- 1806 A.D. Ulm Battle
- 1806 A.D. Trafalgar Naval Battle (Trial)
- 1807 A.D. Eylau Battle (Trial)
- 1809 A.D. Wagram Battle
- 1812 A.D Borodino Battle
- 1813 A.D. Leipzig Battle
- 1815 A.D. Waterloo Battle
The deluxe version of the game has more available battles and will be updated adding new scenarios. It has artistic historical 32 bit colour depth maps, general picture bookmarks on units and Military Strategy View based on APP-6A standard. if the game is of your interest consider to support the developer downloading the complete chapter.
Rules of the game:
If all units are killed or home location conquered the player loses the game.
The unit attacked from side or back is damaged considering zero defend points.
The unit attacked can not move (it has no move points).
Unit severely wounded causes panic damage to near ones.
Unit located near home location gets +1 healing point for each turn.
Unit that kill other unit increases experience,attack and defend points, all life points are recovered.

Downloaded and felt excited about this game. Started it up, started a battle, a load of tiny, unparagraphed text and couldn't move on from here. So pressed the 'play' button and a demo (?) of awful rapid play ensued with the text still overlayed on screen and explosions viewable on the text! Got out and uninstalled. Poor design like this inspires me more to dev my own games. Unimpressed.

Got it installed on my tab , hence no issue of small buttons , could also zoom in & out , read thru' the info given , wanted units to move!! Thought that if opponent was pressed then would enable some movement/ action instead gave info of opponent's ship .

I really like this but it would be great if their we more battles, like some from the peninsular war.

It looks basic but it has some great and compelling gameplay. Really there is only one issue I have -I'm using this on my Kyocera Hydrovibe and when I zoom out to see the units, the control buttons become too small to use.

I've been looking for a good strategy game, and it's even in my favorite era. I think most people give it low rating because they don't give the game a try, and rate it. Keep it up!

Was really good great strategy is involved you need to make sure you make good use of Calvary artillery and fill in the gaps with your infantry

See what a great game and the strategy you need makes it perfect, and makes the game very different. Although it might be hard, or impossible to add a online or pass and play multi-player I like think about the future games developed by these people or updates!!!
