Galileo Returns

Pilot the Galileo shuttlecraft in to the Enterprise shuttle bay. A very nice though short game. I love the visuals on both ships that are very nicely rendered. I enjoy flying around the Enterprise. It takes a little practice getting use to the drag concept when maneuvering but you soon get used to it. I hope the Dev improves it further. Maybe a similar game but this time with the DS9 station would be great. On the whole though very impressed and obviously a labour of love. Would recommend to any Trekkie

Guys what happened? Finally it looked like we were going to get the Star Trek game we always wanted. No throwdown cards, gems or LEGO like graphics. A pixelated one centimetre Enterprise for $80 anyone? Stunning visuals, smooth controls and authentic voiceover. A game made by fans for fans that treated us with the respect we deserve. Then nothing? Were you all rehired by the biggest and best game developers ? If your still out there please don't abandon this project. If not live long and prosper. Now beam me up Scotty.

Such a simple idea, but so cleverly done. Ok each game wont last that long, the better you get, but as the graphics are so excellent, the movement is fluid, that won't matter, it's so addictive. Reminds me so much, of the old space station docking game from the 80's, Elite. Maybe that could be a way to take the game in the future, different missions, docking with different ships, landing on planets, etc. The controls take a second to get used to, their aspect related, so picture yourself flying the craft and it won't be that hard to work out which is left and right. Also remember gentle touches are better ..... well worth downloading, people and keep up the excellent work V'ger ....... B-)

Overall, I liked it. Nice to pilot the shuttle around the Big E. Nice rendering. Controls take a bit of getting used to. I'd rather have a locked view down the centerline of the shuttle, or even better yet, a cockpit view; that would get it five stars. It would also be cool to use my Moga bluetooth gamepad to control the shuttle (hint, hint). Running this on my Motorola Droid Turbo, kept restarting on my generic Android tablet.

I'd like to avoid pursuit from Klingons and Romulans. Original series ships of course. The opportunity to pilot shuttlecraft that appeared in the animated series, the ships that mudd stole, the space hippies had, etc. Make some update missions in other words. I love it, like the one person said, throttle for speed and decreased speed would be nice. Expand this universe, like they did in Xwing flight and darkside. It would be glorious. The flying around zen thing is nice. But we older trekkers want more. Qapla'

I really think this a a great little game for what it is. I look forward to updates if they come. Hope they work on the graphics and add obstacles and new levels!! Add unlimited range and new view and camara modes. Add speed changing and the ability to pilot the craft with total x and y-axis control! Love the music choices, add more music!! I hope they invert the y-axis too!! Charge for upgrades for all the hard work! I'd pay!!! Great job!! This is great!!!!

It's fun but a few small nitpicks, the grammar and spelling. Also the pictures for Scotty and Bones sometimes get reversed or don't appear. I'd also like to put in a personal request in, when you hit the Enterprise maybe Scotty could have more lines about you hitting it. Possibly have the Enterprise get destroyed if you hit it too many times with the shuttle? Anyway, it's a fun little game. Edit: Thanks for replying, I look forward to the new additions.

Yep, fans can do some pretty cool shtuff...! Nice job. Challenging yet thematic and well made. The only thing left to say is; give us more! How about docking the Enterprise or navigating through the asteroid fields of Beyond? Great work devs.

As a life-long Trek fan, I found the graphics superb and very accurate (as far as I can see) and the gentle, relaxed game play is a nice contrast with twitch and shoot games. After an hour of use I still find the controls a little difficult to master, but I expect I'll get the hang of it soon. Well done you guys!

I have NEVER bought any game in this store, I always play the free version, but for this I wouldnt think twice about paying for a full game! What wonderful wonderful work! I know game development takes a lot of time and effort, but I have a feeling there are many like me out there who would pay for a full version. I wish I could write a whole book, but I dont want my comment to be to long. If I may, are you going to give us any updates to the game? Are you working on, or will you be working on a full paid version? If so when might we expect them? If you could respond it would be GREATLY appreciated. The more I play this, the more I realize that Starfleet needs me. I may be the best pilot ever. In relation to the game... Awesome. Exactly as advertised and fun as all heck. First person view would be awesome, and having to set the thing down in the bay would be awesome too... right up until you snap off the nacelles.

I'd give this little app 100 stars if I could. It really feels like you're there, about to rejoin Kirk and crew aboard everyone's favourite starship. Not to mention the breathtaking space-scape. Wow. I'm eager for more when you're ready with it! Live long and prosper

I know this game has been around for a bit but I don't think people really realize its petential. The graphics are top notch as well as the ease of the controls, sounds, as well as the unlimited patential for plot lines, storylines, and implamentations into other styles of gameplay. Nicely done... Nicely done!

This is a great beginning to what I hope will become an extended adventure based game. May I suggest that the focus of an expanded version be adventure and conflict resolution rather than bald carnage? Even the music in this is fantastic. I like the flight engine. It could center the view more toward the back. The option to set the pitch for reverse (like a plane) would be sweet. Please get more missions. The possibilities of this game could make it a hit. Don't let this potential gem go to waste

Can hardly wait for new content. My suggestions, a pitch indicator will help with keeping a steady "glide slope" while on final approach. Being able to invert Y-axis control, for those of us with piloting muscle memory. New content never came, such a shame.

Simple and great. Few recommendations include different ships like enterprise d and e, defiant, enterprise nx01 and ds9, runabouts, etc. Maybe missions where you control flight path of starship instead of shuttle e.g. Navigating asteroid field.

Great concept, execution, the music was a great choice. Kudos to the Nth degree. As far as CBS, good luck, their very protective of their property especially against fan projects because there so professionally done. But in ur case....I would keep rendering, can u imagine ur app so real that u could count how many time the Enterprise was scratched by a one of Scottys so called late night shuttle inspection tours smashed to the gills. jk.....JK. I have always liked the shuttle craft and wanted something like this app. Great graphics! I can see all kinds of potential for it; planet landing, away team etc. I anxiously await your updates for this app.

Nice job. Maybe add departing Enterprise and landing on a planet. Until the lousy selfish people of CBS get word of it.

DEFINITELY something a fan of the original series should give a try. A bit simplistic and short, but the game is interesting over-all. Nice tweak with the tractor beam, though was a bit disappointed I could not fly around the asteroids and if that was a planet I saw, it would have been nice to land and take off like in the series.

Very short, but fun to fly around the Enterprise. 1 problem : keeps starting when I unlock the phone.

This game is short but very well done. I can't wait to see how it develops. A third person locked camera position would be nice as well as a first person view. Basic shuttle controls like throttle, phasers, and shields would be great. The dialog between Scotty and McCoy on the left side of the screen just seemed to get in the way for me. The music is absolutely perfect and gives a real credibility to the game.

As a life long Trekkie, its about time a game of this calibre comes along. Its beautifully made with awesome graphics and it captures the atmosphere of the show very well. Its very short but, as this is just an alpha, it shows extremely good promise! I hope this grows into the the Trek game we deserve. May I suggest battles?

I was going to just close it & uninstall. I decided to give it 5 minutes. I'm glad I did. Not going to lie, I'm a Star Trek fan - I'm idling in STO right now on my PC, with my Star Trek Red Alert background, & playing/reviewing this game on my Lenovo Droid tablet. I want to finish this review so I can take another spin around the ship that started it all. Speaking of, maybe - just an idea... Shuttle for TNG 1701-D? RunAbout round DS9? Shuttle (better yet, Flyer) round Janeway's Intrepid class? Hope to see more from this Dev! Thank you for being a fan!

This truly is a worth while app. It is well thought out by the programmers & of course all those involved in its creation. I have loaded & then uninstalled literally dozens of Trek related crap apps. Not this one. I hope Galileo Returns will expand features.

Fun little game, not a lot of replay value yet but flying around the Enterprise was fun. The banter between Scotty and McCoy was cute and worth a chuckle, though I'd recommend finding a couple native English speakers to tweak the dialog a bit. It'll be interesting to see where this goes

Very well done, but it's a bit short. You only get one mission, and you don't lose anything by hitting the ship. It seems that the developers haven't heard of the Kobayoshi Maru. Failure is always an option.

Being that im a die-hard trek fan.... For being an app on android that lets you fly the galileo shuttlecraft, its probably the best one out there! It may be only one short mission but i hope the developer does make more along the way with increasing dificulty, obstacles and enemies. For what it is, it definitely has potential! Controls are crappy could not the get the shuttle to move in the directions I tried. Anybody know how to control it? Let me know or I'm un- installing it.

Fun little game. Would like to see more missions in the future! Would like ability to invert y axis control so it flies more like an aircraft. Hard to tell my brain to push forward on the stick to go up:)

All you have to do is pilot the Galileo 7 shuttlecraft close enough to the shuttle bay so that the tractor beams can pull you into a safe landing, Or you can cruise around learning the controls and admiring a spot on rendering of the old war horse herself The Enterprise (complete with ion pod).

The graphics are amazing! It's a little hard to get the hang of at first buts it's quite challenging, you should add a bit more action to it, like a Klingon or Romulan attack! Maybe as the game progresses, put a warning of attack then add a time limit!

This game is beautifully rendered and fun. The controls are a little annoying until you get the hang of them but the game itself is awesome for a phone game. We need more games like this on all platforms from phones to consoles to pc's!

The Galileo was a little slow in my opinion, and a throttle would be nice. Both ships were exquisitely detailed, and she handled like a dream. The dialogue was a riot!

Love the game, the graphics, and the concept. Only thing that bugs me is the circle steering control is always in the way in the middle of the screen. Have a hard time seeing where I'm steering. Please consider putting the steering controls in a fixed spot on either side of the screen.

I'm excited to see what they do with this game in further development. It's a lot of fun. The controls are a bit sluggish with a delay but you get used to it.

Ok, I may not be Sulu, but I found this nearly impossible to control. The instructions disappear too quickly and you're left on your own to figure it out. The graphics are gorgeous, but the controls aren't intuitive. I just couldn't get the hang of it. Sad, I was looking forward to it. (STTMP music with TOS graphics was somewhat incongruous.)
