Shine Runner

I purchased this game right away because it was fun. Never had a chance to play it much after the initial run, and then when I saw it on Android TV, I thought I would introduce the household to it, nope only the free version made it to AndroidTV.

Great game. Like a modern version of dope wars with a modern racing twist. Cool to make all that money but would be better to upgrade or paint the boats or something. All in all solid. Are you still supporting this?

Is it me, or is there no way to tell where prices might be rising or falling in this game? Is it really just blind luck? Because for the two years I played this, that's what it seemed like. Granted, I never made any effort to keep notes about which shop was doing what, but then I shouldn't have to--plus, that's attacking the problem from the wrong end anyway, AFTER you've run across a great deal purely by accident. Dumb. But graphics are great, if eye-straining on small screens, and the boating is way fun.

It's stupid fun. Years later and I still love playing this to kill time.

Running the Dev release of Chrome 53 on my Pixel with Android play installed. Love this game on my phone so thought I would give it a try. Game loded up okay and I was able to access all the settings. however hitting play crashed the game. I look forward to getting it working on my Chromebook, maybe further updates to Chrome will fix this.

I liked the free version so much, I bought this premium version. Not only are the ads gone, but you get an extra 10 units of storage space. What's more, Shine Runner premium supports custom gamepad button mapping, and even has keyboard support. Perfect!

Now this one took awhile to get a grip on, it's crazy fast, but once I got a handle on it, it's fun! You buy & sell with this one, which is so-so, but when your cruising, that's fun, I mean nuts fun! I wish the runs were longer, but all & all, great fun, all on 36 MB! Well worth the purchase. Weakest game of Vector Units lineup.

I hesitated to buy it, and now I'm glad I finally purchased it. This game is far better than some of the many other reviews here would lead you to believe it is. Even the video doesn't do it justice. It's got alot more depth to it than it seems to on the surface, and as hokey as it is, it's nowhere near as hokey as you think it is. It would do well on consoles. It has tons of achievements, and two global leaderboards, one for single session total and one for career total. Looks great and plays great!

This is a great game. Please bring Android TV support. Installs, but can't do anything... Sad

I bought this paid app after enjoying the free app on my Shield TV. The compatibility checker showed no issues, and I didn't suspect anything as the free version worked just fine. However, the paid app does not respond to the Shield Controller, and would need an external mouse to navigate the menus. Please update the paid version so that it works as well as the free one. In the meantime, this game is unplayable for me.

You need to add some sort of disabling program to stop you from playing after few hours while you're on work lol. Great game!

I have played this game for 3 years now. Every now and then i play it. Only game i havent got bored of. Its easy its fun.

Was fun when i had older tablet. Newer tablet, newer os. Loads up, hit play, crashes

Smuggling adventures as a Redneck in the bayou! You have to race an airboat to the next dealer of shine and crawdads! Wish they'd add some new places though!

I'd like to see being able to upgrade the boat, as well as maybe some high payout missions. Also have an option as to how many days you run before you cashout.

I love this game,want to give 5 stars ,but where's it going.no upgrades no depth,I.m up to $5 million,what for? and what can be purchased in free version??faster boats and being able to get pick ups etc, eg.gaters n chickens would be cool as. Thanks heaps: )

Small high quality racing game which doesn't take itself too seriously. Excellent physics engine, same as the brilliant Riptide GP games. A race takes a minute, an entire run takes 15 minutes. Easy to pick up and play.

Crashes on starting new game after moving to SD card on 5.0 Lollipop, x86 device.

Quite an old game now but play every now and then. Vector, please bring Hydro Thunder to Andriod, love Riptide but would like to race with no stunts.

Update the game and and fix the bugs. My phone is Asus Zenfone 2.

Gem of a perfect little time waster: Responsive touch controls, excellent graphics, believable arcade physics, moonshine and crocodiles! Takes its toll on the tablet battery, however.

Absolutely no content or upgrades? Beach Buggy Blitz is way better and free..

Very few tracks. Developer no longer supports it. So don't waste your money. Fun game but too little and redundant tracks. To play you tilt device from left to right. Its motion sensitive. Very outdated! Follow me on Google+!

Was hoping for a little more depth in this game. Quickly gets redundant and boring. Good graphics for an arcade style mobile game. Good physics. Game pad compatible. All are bonus, but still, it lacks enough to keep me interested more than 10 minutes. I don't understand all that good work the devs put into something that doesn't even have a shoot button. Cops don't even pull you over. Hmmm, why???

The core game mechanic is repetitive, since the entire game is finished after ten quick runs. The game can be replayed to beat the high score or to earn achievements. Cloud saving is offered, but no immersive mode. The costs for goods are way to random and after dozens of runs, I still have not completed a run with over $100,000. Initially fun that dwindles quickly. Delete It. Thanks. Cost: 99 cents.

But they fixed that in riptide gp2 and beaxch buggy racing! Get all three :-)

No IAP. Besides that just the same few tracks with the same craft over and over. At least give more tracks

Such a blast being in control of an airboat!! Keeps your mind sharp with all you have to watch out for, and what to avoid. Very much a download you'll be glad you got!!

I enjoy it but had to lower a star. It seems that every now and then the right turn locks and you can't get out of it without crashing and taking your hands off the screen. Other than that it's fine and fun. L900 note 2

I love this game!! I think it'd be awesome if a story mode was made and you could custom and change airboats the further you get and the more money you make! Other then that 5 stars!

You really have to concentrate to control the boat !

Riptide might be 'cooler' but Vector Unit really nails this style of cute cartoony racing game - see Beach buggy Blitz, Beach buggy racing, and Shine Runner is no exception. All nice little time killers. Also - Chicken Crates!
