NES.emu Free for Android
Not only that, the emulator seems to work, too. Savestating supported but a.bit clunky to use. 9,5/10
If only I could get it to stay in immersive mode. No reason for the back, menu, and recent soft keys. They take up my screen space, which is really annoying.
But unable to save, file I/O error. If you guys want to support this app, please buy the original by Robert Groblia.
Multi touch does not respond at times. Pressing buttons like -> and A or B, sometimes becomes unresponsive. I have enabled show touches in dev options on device to see if it's working correctly. The touches show, but are sliding across the screen to other button pressed on the emulator causing nothing to happen. Same happens in landscape view with the emulators buttons further apart. Compared multi touch on some other apps, this is only one that does this. Also buttons automatically scale up in size, and when scaled back down the smallest size, its still to big to fit the screen. I like the way the virtual controls disappear but come back if you touch screen.. blutooth gamepad works great..
It does exactly described, my only issue is that my Moga Hero isn't recognized by it, but when I download a %100 free emulator based on an older version of nes.emu it picks up fine and let's me use it, if the moga support like that was re-added I might just by the full version
8 bit heaven! All my classic cartridges now digitally capable on my android. Doo doo doo dooo doot!
When ever I get da bow in legends of zelda it crashes
Doesn't fully support Nvidia Shield TV (cannot use save states on internal or external memory, cannot go back to previous folders for loading roms after going to root, cannot use both d-pad and/or analogue stick for control). Currently sub-par for Android tv.
This is good if you've a compatible wireless controller, otherwise playing action games or games with lots of button pressing is too hard. But for games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and some others, this works fine.
How to auto save - have emu on save game in same folder as game in settings & load up ur in game save from ur pc. While game is running go back to settings & change game save path. From root folder choose sdcard then game data. Re enter game then close emu. When you re open game you will have saved your in game save from ur pc to the phone storage & the auto save function will work :) This free app & the SNES made by the same author have no adds or micro transactons, so as Tony the Tiger would say "Their Grrrrreat"
I love it. it works perfectly. there controls are good. You can actually save at any moment in the game which is a rare thing. Most games you can save but at the beginning of the level. In this Nintendo Emulator, you can save at any "location" of the level. And there are even individual save slots that you can choose to save in. It's awesome and I recommend this Emulator to anyone that loves platform games as much as I do. And add for the ROM files just Google the words: "free roms".
Love the emu plays great small file size, recognized my nes30 bluetooth controller with no problems. I only have one request developer.... give this emu cardboard support so I can use it in my vr head set and it's basicly the last emulator I'll ever need. Can't be that hard to impliment. Just dual screens right? Pleaaaaaase. I wanna game in my little vr bubble on my back in bed Sooo bad lol. 4 out of 5 cause of cardboard support. ;)
Been working just fine since I downloaded it 3 months ago and now out of no where, all of my roms have disappeared. When I download a rom again and try to load it, it says error loading. Tried uninstalling and re installing and still the same thing.
That it can make an accurate super jump at smb level end to get at top of flag, other emu sucks at it. PS: it lags now I don't know why. .
Is there anyway to put cheat codes on this version? I'd give 5 stars if this feature is available
Cant believe ppl useto play this stupid shit. I guess we might in the future look back aswell on some of these today games and think the same...lol life sucks... Lol
It wa a good emulator. Sadly the wiimote function no longer works on Samsung Galaxy S3 after latest update.
This appears to work fine on my Galaxy Nexus phone, but on my Nexus 7 tablet I only see a gray screen when I load a ROM. If it can be made to work on the tablet I would give it 5 stars.
PLEASE go the extra mile and allow widget shortcut to games a la PPSSPP. Go even further and allow custom icons for the games. To this for ALL your emulators and humanity will love you and there will be world peace for all time!!!
When ever I get da bow in legends of zelda it crashes
Used to pick up from where i left off. Now it starts as if it's never been played. Severely disappointed and uninstalled because of it
It works just fine, except I get a "File I/O Error" whenever I try to savestate.
but how to get the turbo buttons on ??? some games are not playable without turbo c & d buttons like Aladdin 3. can anyone please help me with it ? thank you.
This is by far the best NES emulator for an Android device I've found, most of the others can not recognize your roms or your cheats and are unable to alter the settings, the only drawback to this one is button placement. I installed seven others that were not as selectable in the options area.
Its fast and can load a game easily. Unlike other emulators that lag.
Interface Ugly and complicated Doe. Plus No zapper so i can't play duckhunt
Best free ness emu I've tried. And ive tried a lot of them. Only downside I can find is the lack of vibrating on button press.
Works amazing. But I can't save games with the saves for the game or using the emulator save/load states... "File I/O error" A real shame considering how well this weekend
First off, amazing emulator, and a great port, but I can't seem to get the 4 player adaptor setting to work. I enable it on the emulator, and when I switch my controller input to 3rd or 4th player, I can't seem to control them, but I can control players 1 and 2 just fine. Is this just a feature that's disabled in the free version, or am I missing something? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you. PS, I'm using multiple ps3 controllers and I love how the emulators recognizes them as sep conts.
I liked this app but I question to emulator how to run jar file without root my android please fix
If only I could get it to stay in immersive mode. No reason for the back, menu, and recent soft keys. They take up my screen space, which is really annoying.
This is one of the best emulators out there, and also allows you to play with a wiimote! (Press the sync button on the wiimote after selecting the use wiimote option on the emulator
It does not lag, runs smooth, no audio problems. The best
How bout controller skin, I think it would make this already awesome Emu to perfect immersive apps
It works well so far... Been using it for 2 days. On screen buttons quite tricky to get used to...
Plzz tell how to get turbo a and b on screen
I can't play my game i loaded my rom it's show loaded error please help me
PLZ MAKE SNES VERSION WITH GUN MODE INCLUDED

Fantastic app, thank you! Simple and very easy to use. Question though instead of seeing the d-pad and on screen buttons I'm seeing a screen mirror of what's happening in the game. What am I doing wrong ?
