9th Dawn RPG Free Demo for Android
What is the deal with the black squares obscuring large parts of the map? Very distracting and ruins the game for me.
The built-in homophobia and sexism ruin the game.
This game is a butt! (For demo)
Fun game with an old school feel!
The resolution. My phones (galaxy s5) native res is way too high for this game. Everything was microscopic, making the game completely unplayable. Chars/icons were literally a millimeter or 2 tall. There doesnt seem to be any way to fix. No res in the ui options, no zoom in-game. Theres a tablet setting that did nothing i could see. I tried everything i could think of. Too bad, looks kinda fun.
This game made me do my first review. I've cleared the demo version and didn't hesitate a moment to buy the full version! Nice soundtrack, fun gameplay and - in contrast to all those other "rpgs" hovering around - it's even a bit of a challenge. This was created with a lot of care and love for classic role playing!
This game is so much fun. The graphics are very old school but a great advantage to that is this game doesn't kill your battery since it doesn't tax the phone's gpu. I am also a big fan of the free demo then pay model over the freemium in app purchase that so many other games use.

This game is nearly everything I ever wanted in a mobile rpg. I am certainly going to be buying the full version.
Does not work in my droid (3 or 4 I think) - bunch of errors on startup, no text on any buttons. Unplayable. See summary.
I can't support a developer that posts the game is being redeveloped as of last June but can't take the time to update their message. Regardless of Facebook updates which are also limited. Lazy business practice. If it's being redeveloped why would I buy it? You're wasting sales.
First enemy killed me with ease. Seems like it could be fun.
It's still on 1.60 and it doesn't work on Lollipop.
No doubt its one of the better rpg out there and the best in terms of rich world and content. Also there is no in app purchases. I'll be picking up the paid version after playing a bit more.
There is old school and then there is cave man school. Cases in point....your inventory consists of many many items after awhile. They are all icons and each will take you two clicks after you open the inventory to find its attributes. How does that compare with what you have equipped? More clicks. You have to choose the equipped item. Map. It is low res so its hard to make out pathways to other areas or anything for that matter. The whole game is like this. Too much work and too tedious for fun.
I really like this game and wished it would play better on my Nexus 7. The problem is the way you have to try and hit enemies with a swipe or tap in the right direction. It's very hard to hit accurately and too easy to die as a result of not tapping or swiping the right way. I would give this game more stars and buy a copy immediate if there were an alternative control method or improvement with the current one. Judging by other review comments, I am not alone in my frustration with this aspect of the game.
I would buy if you could control your dude easier and if you could zoom in just a lil more!
The poorly drawn graphics remind me of a shareware game from 1993, but not in a good nostalgic way. The artist has some skills using effects, but he ruins the good parts of this game by making disgusting and cheesy looking art that sticks out like a sore thumb. The stone walls for example appear to have been drawn by someone who is partially retarded - the shading and perspective has no consistency with the rest of the environment. The game has good music - if only the graphics matched the music.

Joystick and attack buttons way to small and way to close to the bottom corners of screen. Some of the inventory boxes are half cut out on top right of screen.
This is one of the greatest game I've ever played.
A+, Valorware. I'll give it to Sven, the controls are a little funky. Really, its just the attacking controls. Moving around and exploring is easy. But I will say that this is by far the best RPG that I have found on the android market. Valorware has done a great job with everything from the music to the graphics. The overall experience is a great one, albiet you suck in the beginning. Give it a try, and I promise you'll enjoy it. Keep on keepin on, Valorware.
It reminds me of Ultima and looms like it has a lot of promise but controls are horrendous and it's almost impossible to see on a QHD display.
Cant hardly see things since they are too small on galaxy s4 tried low res to make em bigger no change really needs a scaleing option
Won't even launch on nvidia shield tablet.
Game says it cannot create character, doesn't explain why, and I cannot get into the game. Glad I didn't buy it.
Worst lite ever. Maybe the paid version might be good, but I doubt it as there's nothing worth while in this free version.
Good game runs slow on HTC one but worth playing
Quite engaging. Retro playability. Not terribly keen on the thumb stick mechanic but it works well enough. Worth a play.
Could use a little polish but overall very fun
I think this game is better suited for a tablet.
This game looks pretty interesting but it doesn't scale well on hi res screens. The joysticks are only a couple millimetres across and the NPCs are only a call couple more.
Controls could be better tho, esp attack.

I am asked by Google plus to rate this game, it appears to be very good "ultima" or "Zelda" type RPG on android but I have only spent a few moments on it and know only the look and feel. I assume the game has a lot of story and interaction but so far have not gotten into it.
I saw this game on my iphone and figured id check to see if android had it to and lo and behold it does. I downloaded this demo on my galaxy tablet 8 and it works beautifully. Im highly considering buying the full version however, Im hoping that my character will transfer. Lemme know devs? Also, you guys need to come out with a demo for ios. I wanna see what its like on my iphone and if its just as good I will probably buy both ios and android versions. UPDATE: Thanks for the reply. You devs rock!
Great music, fun role playing game. The controls are just fine, some people just don't have the knack for catching on to new things.
Looks cool. Completely unplayable on a phone.
The game seems enjoyable but it's reeeeeeally hard to press the on-screen buttons on my Nexus 5 in high res mode

Totally awesome game! Despite two classes that cannot heal (warrior and ranger) are total garbage, the game offers two other ones who can, and they totally rock! Mana regen is awesome, and killing monsters is so fun! Game controls are great! Joysticks are positioned exactly where one would expect them to be! Reverse aiming for spells is a bit confusing at first. "Fog of war" is so nostalgic and reminds me of Nox! TLDR: 5/5 stars. Awesome game. But, do not bother with the sequel to this game, as that one is horrible.
