9th Dawn II 2 RPG for Android
Looking forward to remake to first 9th dawn as its my favorite mobile game on Android and apple. Yep I buy them on both platforms lol. Okay so the second is like ten times more refined in a lot of ways. Platforming and puzzles are so cool for this game. Appearance and graphics are excellent and much more robust this time around. Weather effects. Gate keepers dual welding weapon and magic is fun. GET THIS GAME NOW HURRY WHAT ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE GO KILL SOME STUFF AND LOOT
This is a good A-RPG. Really well made and solid mechanism in it for mobile game. But, I want to point out few things. 1) Indoor Mini Map. I would love it if we can at least have this. It's a struggle to move around inside the dungeon. 2) Zoom in and Zoom out in world map. I'd love it if I can do this, so I can see where I go more clearly. I think that's all. Other than these two, everything is good.
So far the game has been great! Melee is slightly off, but once you get it down it's not too bad. The only real improvement I can suggest to make the game better is a mini map for the dungeons. I can see how you could easily get lost for hours trying to figure out the puzzle for the doors or platforms. Great job on the game though!
Game is awesome! I kinda wrote a scathing review the first time as I thought that R'sten was glitches and that I'd wasted all that time. If you get to R'sten use the interact button to talk to him and initiate combat. I'm glad that I read the one star reviews to find the fix to what I thought was a game breaking glitch. The dungeons get irritating sometimes without an indoor map, though - too much time going back and forth, back and forth trying to figure out where to go, or how to get out again.
Awesome game with a show stopping bug. About 1/4 the way through and stuck on the R'sten encounter. Room has triggered doors closed but R'sten hasn't activated, can't damage home or leave the room. Literally a show stopping bug. My only option is to restart the game. Such a shame as this was a super fun game to play.
I am in love with this game. Easily the most completed RPG in the Play Store. There needs it be an indoor map! Do you know how long ive had to back track in dungeons wondering if I had already been through that corridor? Other than that. Completely brilliant!
I'm in love with this game. I've never played a mobile game quite as amazing and fun as this one. Its classical RPG graphics and challenging dungeons are to die for. I'm a little disappointed that there are no leg animations while moving around but I can put up with that. I have a problem though. I just got a new phone and am unable to continue playing from where I left off from my last phone. I really hope you guys are working on a cloud save or something. I'd really like that.
Really good game, but can be very difficult at times. Huge map and a lot of locations. Complaints - No autodraw of map in dungeons, so easy to get lost and spend an hour trying to find a switch or different levels. Tons of containers and stuff in dungeons but none are breakable/lootable. Only loot is from bodies and chests. Feels full and empty at the same time. Also wish there was one more camera option that pulled the view away so you could see more of the map, would help with navigation in dungeons.
It crashes occasionally, regardless of location. The spawn rate for very strong enemies is a little too high. The map could use some work, as well as the weight system, too. It's a good game, and I recommend it. The price is fair, I would even pay more if there was a little more polish to the games bugs.
Much better than the 1st original, though some aspect of the game are more inferior than the 1st one. Ranged combat system is worse, World Map is too small to see, dungeons layout are somewhat very similar with each other and the size can be daunting with the lack of auto map. But overall still a pretty solid game.
Game is quirky but good. Lots of things I don't really like - punishing if you die, the aiming and attacking isn't that great, movement in general is awkward/not what I'm used to. I'm also new to the game and so would like a little more explanation about stuff (ie. Equipment have values but I don't know what those values are for and I can't see it explained anywhere). Guess I'm just too noob for this.
It's a great fun for a time game. The thing that ruins it for me is that enemies re-spawn and makes dungeon delving long and a pain in the ass. I don't mind if they re-spawn after you continue a game but right in front of you and running back through it all over again is just not fun. Other than that it has everything a rpg has to offer.
needs more spawn points. walking back to sell items from dungeon is freaking far and time consuming the thought of walking back the dungeon makes me wana quit the game. too much punishment.
In the first version you could loot boxes and barrels, which i loved doing, as it dragged the game out longer and I liked exploring more. But with the second I can only loot chests. Is it a bug, if it isn't can you add more looting options please.
This is like an rpg stew, and you cooked it to perfection! And everything about it reads effort. And the devs were smart with the walking animation, walking is one of the key machanics in an rpg and if you mess up the animation you mess up the game. All in all it is a great game to kill time when your not on a console.
Edit: Yes I have the latest version, in fact the game crashes at various points throughout the last dungeon. Not consistently, but there was one point where I couldnt even progress because it consistently crashed in that area. That whole dungeon is a crash fest. You havent updated this since october of last, which was before I bought this game. I actually uninstalled it because its become blatant to me you that you think youve actually fixed this issue lol.
I don't like the aiming of the weapons. If you don't have a fast weapon the monsters move out of your aim before you can hit them. All the melee weapons have the same range. And all the monsters have more range then you. Leather armor costs 2000 silver while iron armor costs 500.
Excellent overhead Diablo style arpg. It's unique art style and innovative design choices make this a must have for any mobile gamer. Some people may complain that it's story isn't as heavy as some would expect but it's nice like that and doesn't become overbearing. Great loot system and looks. Worth every dollar. Do yourself a favor and get this game.
The game is great overall, but could be better optimized. The controls feel clunky. I'm trying to play on my Chromebook, and it doesn't fit in the screen and the keyboard controls are not configurable.
Firstly, thanks for the game. It's obvious how much work you've put into creating it. It's a great time-spender on the train each day. But, I'm begging you … please, please please create a map-view mechanism within dungeons. Everyone is different in their spatial-awareness abilities and I can't describe how frustrating it is to not only get lost (again and again) but also to not know if I've covered all the areas in each of the dungeons. The dungeons are obviously integral in the story completion, but I simply can't face another venture into the void of unknown randomness. It's especially bewildering that the map-view is missing underground since you've gone to the trouble of creating a map-view above ground? Couldn't the same/similar mechanism be used below ground? I'll re-rate to 5 stars the moment some sort of dungeon map-view is created.
I love this game! I can't give it 5 stars however, because the screen doesn't rotate ingame on my samsung galaxy s7 edge... which makes it almost unplayable with earphones
Brilliant job devs..In short review this game has all aspect i want in RPG..the depth, story, gameplay, sound all is amazing..such modest sum to pay for such masterpiece...thanks for this great game and please Keep up the good work.I will really lookingl forward fot sequel if possible
Way hard as there are no maps to speak of and death usually sets you back a long way. This is a good thing! Excellent ending as well.
Solid game, but just a few bugs. I have had a lot of trouble turning in random quests. I'm not sure if a bunch of them just don't have a resolution or what. That has been the only thing that bugs me about the game.
I Love this game and #1 as well, only a few things come to mind to improve... more skills (mining, lumbering, etc), lootable crates and such keep improving, love it
Lovin it. A very satisfying RPG that scratches a particular itch
Gave 3 stars because game dosent pause. Makes it impossible to play on the go, which is the whole point of a mobile game.
Game is great. Very little to complain about.
I think that the way you fight is not good and the fact your character is 2d and rotates rather than it being normal is silly.
Bug? Acebethe at Alderun midway house, offered me a weapon from the bag. I selected "choose later" but now that I talk to him I don't get the option to pick a weapon, just some generic npc chit chat :(
Love this game it's a true masterpiece
Fantastic dungeon crawler, a bit vague and open ended but great endgame
Thanks alot. Love playing this.
Controller support for 5 stars
Just finished the game and it's one of the best android game I have ever played and most certainly best rpg. Basically it's diablo combined with elder scrolls. Fun character development, great mood, very challenging but satisfying. The only downside is that I had a couple of crashes mainly in the hydra dungeon/death pass, but I sent the report about it. Can't wait for the next one
I picked this up due to a raving review on Reddit claiming it was like a combination of Morrow Wind and Ultima. It isn't a bad game by any means, but it completely lacks the freedom I was expecting. Further, the controls are sketchy at best and the platforming elements suck, it feels uneeded at best.
This is a great old school western rpg. One of few quality games that are satisfying and not asking for skeezy iap's or ads.
I finished 9th dawn was one of the best games I have played on mobile. 9th dawn 2 is a good game but would like to see the zoom
This is like an rpg stew, and you cooked it to perfection!

I really enjoyed this game, and it might just be one of my favorite mobile games. There are only a few points to me that stick out that would potentially make this game so much more user friendly. I never played the first so I'm unsure if not having a map is standard. I have bad memory so some of the dungeons I'll constantly retrace my steps. Itd be great if the dungeons would have their own map, however I do understand it'd be more art. It's easier to navigate however, and the world map has that feature. I would love to be able to zoom on the world map. The cursor above your character is so large and the points are hard to hold on the map, but if I could zoom in none of that would be a problem.
