Shades: A Simple Puzzle Game

It's fun, addictive, aesthetic and all that and I enjoy it very much but... ads pop up and pause the game at inconvenient times. Also, I was at level 28 or 29 on easy mode and I paused the game and exited for a couple of minutes to visit another app, and when I returned the app restarted and lost all my progress. Usually it says "Resume Shades" but it didn't this time. Kinda disappointed since I had got so far. Still enjoyable though.

This game is super addicting! I really like it! My only issue with it is that adds pop out of no where and give you a mini heart attack because you've been concentrating so hard. Also after level ten on easy, the game will freeze when I reach a new level after that. I pause and unpause, which fixes it, but if it could be fixed that would be awesome.

Used to have this on my Nokia Lumia. So I downloaded it when I got my Galaxy s6+ edge. Now when I play it glitches. When I clear a line it stops sending new blocks and I have to pause and re-play. Not really a big issue, but it does get annoying.

This game is so fun and you can play it on three different levels so it fits whatever mood. It's fun and easy, but not too easy. It's one of those games that are perfect if you like to do something while watching TV or something to keep you distracted, but still able to focus on the plot of the show.

Really enjoy the game. Very entertaining but after level 5 very time i do a line it freezes and i have to pause it and resume to continue!! Would appreciate if you fix this.

A nice tetris-style game, though after a while it doesn't get any harder so if you're good it will never end. Also it freezes every time you level up and ads will pop up mid-game.

Once I hit around level 10 every time I clear a level the game freezes. So I have to turn off my phone screen turn it back on then hit resume, really annoying. Also it should save your game if you accidently get out of the app. I have had a much higher score than it says but my game progress keeps getting lost.

You're okay with ads literally popping up and pausing your game. Super addicting and really aesthetically pleasing and even kind of relaxing, but the falling tiles stop on their own occasionally and I have to pause and unpause it to get them going again. This usually happens when I clear a row, or when the score ends in a 500.

Fun play and good sounds, but there are bugs on Galaxy 6s. It didn't save my highest score. After playing for a bit it will freeze when I've scored. I can pause and restart, but it gets annoying. Also sometimes as the game gets faster, touching a column will drop the piece where it is, rather than moving it over.

First of all I do really like this game. The design is simple and at first it seemed a bit challenging. After a few rounds I realized once I understood the general pattern of the game it became nearly impossible for me lose. At that point it simply came down to how fast I could move my fingers. Still, I like the game as a way to relax without having to use my brain. I would give it a higher rating but it doesn't tend to freeze every 2-3 lines I clear which in turn slows down the game.

Please create an ad-free premium version. The ads eat up my battery like crazy and I like to sit and play for a loooong time on the train. I would pay for no ads.

As mentally stimulating and entertaining as Tetris, however full screen ads pop up very frequently, sometimes without pausing gameplay. Additionally, gameplay will sometimes freeze for no reason forcing you to pause and unpause the game to resume playing.

I could handle the occasional freeze. I could even handled pausing for video ads between levels. Adding an ad banner at the bottom to make me accidentally click it when trying to use the android home button (which auto hides) is pretty underhanded, though. Not just to me, but to the advertisers who are paying for accidental clicks. Uninstalling. I don't need to be entertained that badly.

I LOVE this game. I quickly paid to not view ads, and since then, the game has issues. Once I reach level seven, every level after freezes and to continue playing the game, I must pause and resume the game. While this shouldn't be a huge inconvenience, having to deal with this through level 50+, it becomes annoying. It makes me feel like I'm being penalized for paying to not view ads.

It has way too many permissions. It gets boring fast once you realize the trick to never losing even on hard. The most annoying part is when it constantly asks to connect to your google account.

Surprisingly original puzzle game. I wish there weren't ads at the bottom during gameplay - they're really distracting, and end up looking like they're part of the game (briefly) sometimes, which gets confusing. Otherwise, brilliant game :)

I really like this game and I will keep playing it but I have two issues: one, I am unable to pause my game and resume it later. I thought it would work but instead it got rid of my highest scoring game which made me very disappointed. Two, the game stops sometimes while I'm playing when I move to the next level. Please fix!

The game is boring and I can't get very far because I get bored with it. There is no "panic" just a "ok it's time to let it lose". I'm annoyed with the rave reviews for leading me on.

I love the game. But it sticks sometimes. When it resumes from the ad sometimes it just freezes. I press the pause and unpause and the. It works fine. At times it will just randomly freeze while I'm playing. I pause and unpause and then it works. Maybe this is something the devs can look into.

An ad popped up AND MY GAME DIDN'T EVEN PAUSE. it just kept going in the background and I had to restart because it made a wrong move.

The game's funny and addicting surelly an awesome game, however It doesn't deserves a 5 stars becouse it has too many bugs that piss me off sometimes. Fix 'em!

A game mode should be added were you clear the levels down. I do something like that, just don't match layers until there almost full and try to erase them, it really fun.

If I could have made this game I don't think I would have made it and different. I am addicted to your game shades it is so fun! I didn't really know what the game would be like at all when I first got it. I thought it might be a rip off. But it is just fun!!:);):);)

It's a fun game until it reaches level 10 and the game becomes unresponsive and keeps getting stuck. These might be "features" of the game that I haven't figured out, but as of now, I don't see any point to continue playing it.

Challenging enough, even though it begins nice and slowly.. One small criticism is that it takes a long time for the difficulty to start ramping up, but soon after that it goes wild!

But in the middle of the game they just stop me from doing stuff. And they just get in the way. Could you please make them less distracting or not making me unable to act while they show up.

I LOVE this game, but it constantly freezez up on me in the middle of my game which can be quite frustrating when you have a high score. Id give it 5 stars if there were no bugs.

This is a pretty fun game. It's like tetris with a twist. Two problems I have with this game are the difficulty (even on hard, it's just too easy) and the controls tend to stop working occasionally.

Love the concept but it's almost like once you start losing, you've already lost. Flawed game mechanics. Seriously, just go download tetris instead

After ads start popping up, the game stops dropping 'shades' when I get a row of the same shade. Also sometimes when I try to unpause my game it freezes and I have to close the app and restart it.

Only problem is you don't realize how long you've been playing until 3 hrs later when your phone dies!!! ;)

It is a great and addicting game but the random ad pop ups get annoying, along with an occasional freezing of the game, also I would hope it would save the game when you close the app

I enjoy this game but it freezes entirely too much as levels get higher each and every time I play. Deleting for now. May try again if issues get fixed.

Shades is a fresh and innovative game that is ruined by unpolished app design. There are bugs all over which adds a bitter taste to the experience.

Gameplay is too slow for too long, then suddenly becomes way too difficult way too fast. Needs a more gradual build-up to make for more satisfying play.

I really like this game but it has too many bugs. The most annoying being when you've been going awsome and have a huge score and need to pause it for a bit...sometimes your game's still there when you come back, sometimes it's not.
