Nonograms Katana

I absolutely love this game. I have played through several thousand puzzles using the Actually Free version from Amazon Underground on my Kindle Fire. I have enjoyed it so much that when I saw it by chance in the Google Play Store I installed it on my phone and purchased the Full Version. I thought the best way to show my appreciation was with the gift of money. I only wish the Amazon version had the controls used in the Android version. They are very much better. *** Review Update *** Developers responded (very promptly) to my review with a message saying the Amazon Underground version was fully updated to match the version available in the Google Play Store. I looked into it on my Kindle Fire and found it was not properly updating because of something I had done when I had limited bandwidth and a ton of apps wanting to be updated. Problem solved. Honestly, it was barely a real problem. I was playing the very-slightly-less-excellent previous app version. I spent maybe two days with the knowledge that the updated version was better. Anyway, my ramblings done. Great puzzles.

Best nonograms app I've found thus far! I love the fact that you can lock your current progress to keep from messing up anything you've done already. Unfortunately, it's really hard to get nonograms to fit easily on the page of a mobile phone while also offering a difficult enough puzzle for many of us. But I think this app does a great job of allowing you to zoom in and out while still keeping tabs on where you are in the game and not messing stuff up.

It's the best app ever. I can't get enough! The only thing I would like it's to have an option to invert the colors so the squares be black.

After the newest update it lags very much at 80x80 colored puzzles. Haven't tried any other so can't tell much about them. Every move takes a food few seconds so it kind of kills the joy of the game

How do you create your own? Unintuitive interface, horrible, uninstalled

IF there were explanations what the icons mean this could be a great game. like this it is unplayable. pity.

Only problem is the language barrier.Should be in English-language and no way to finish 6000 square grid when 99% complete and still showing that grid isn't correct with no more corrections left. Have searched and all squares are crossed off. How do I find the mistake in 6000 squares when They're all filled in???

Could almost give this five stars. Compared to other similar pictograms, it is by far the best I've found. Unfortunately, the number of puzzles is limited, at least in the free version. It did not take very long to finish them all. So 4 star's...for now.

Excellent electronic version of my holiday favorite puzzles. I'd like to be able to sum the rows and columns.

Fun puzzle game! Gets the brain going but not too difficult (currently in the 15x15 puzzles) and fun!

Infinite puzzles from the community. Great controls with many ways to input. Both black and coloured puzzles with a smart checking system.

The most well designed and maintained nonogram (griddler, picross) app on any platform. As an iOS user typically, this app is one of the top 5 reasons I can't get rid of my android tablet.

i want to download ALL online puzzles with one click so that it will be saved as offline so that i can play anytime even without internet...how can i do that? Edit: hoping that it will be added in future...thnks anyway

A well written app for these puzzles on a small screen.

Perfect! Fun, loads of well though through puzzels. Simple rules and simple design so does not take up much space at all. No need to slave through all the easy levels before you can start more challenging ones. Had it for over a year and never experienced any glitches. No interruptive advertising either (just some discrete ads). :)

By far the best one out there. You can solve the entire puzzle at once and don't have to suffer solving the puzzles one grid box at a time. I have gone through this game many times and with the third party nonograms that are uploaded I find a different puzzle each time. Great fun!!

The controls need to be calibrated. I.e. it always responds in a cell which is below the one that I'm trying to tap. I've just moved from the other platform where this app is available and I didn't have any issues there. Now speed playing it because of this problem

I like the games for the most part some of them have to many blank spaces to make it solvable without extensive trial and error or turning on all the helps. Needs better instruction. I almost deleted it the first day, but after a lot of clicking around I found settings and some other features that were hidden.

Absolutely the best nonogram game I've ever played!! The controls are outstanding & you're given so many controls, I haven't even explored them all. Graphics are exactly as expected for the smaller grid sizes, but the really big ones, like 80x80 i.e. are very clear. All in all a challenging, enjoyable & addictive game with thousands of grids to explore.

The puzzles themselves are of much higher quality than many similar apps out there though there seems to be very few smaller grid puzzles to ease you into the bigger ones. The controls have many options and finding the control options that work best for you can be a little difficult. Ads are just a slim banner at the bottom of the screen and are not too bothersome.

I love everything about this game. My one complaint would be that ad the board gets bigger my fingers are too big to fill in the boxes but that's to be expected, and you can zoom, I just hate to.

The look and feel of a game means a great deal to me as I play, and although it plays well, I feel it needs to be redesigned to be cleaner. The interface and design is horrendous. Also, the Google Achievements are unrealistic. You're awarded scantily after what takes ages to complete.

I love the interaction! Not only are the controls fantastic but the interaction you get from all the other gamers is really nice. You leave a message they can message you back. You can change the colors too.

Just installed yesterday but having a blast so far - I recommend it for beginners like me :)
