Rayman Classic

I really missed this game. It's definitely the same game it was all those years ago. Should've used a D-pad instead of a "joystick" though. The game was on the GBA and PS1, GBA has a D-pad, which would easier to maneuver on a touch screen. More dependable. The joystick on a touch screen is harder to get used to. And obviously, I'm not the only one who thinks so. Maybe we can get an update with a D-PAD! P.s. forgot it was on original PS as well.

I love this game and have a soft spot in my heart for this classic! It looks great and sounds fantastic. The only thing I struggled with is the controls are a little harder than expected and don't do well with my rushed thumbs. I really wish my Bluetooth controller had support but other than that thanks so much for bringing back the classic Rayman! I can't wait until I get to the crash cymbal level!

This game was, and still is brilliant! The fact that its been adapted to the phone is just awesome, and I'm sure everyone can agree. The levels are still as difficult as they always were, but that isn't a reason for me to put this down. Its so worth the money and memory space! If you want to get this, i would highly recommend doing so.

Love the game itself, brings me back so much and everything is the same. But the controls is a total f**k up. I remember how hard it was to defeat some bosses, not to walk around. Make better controls and you will have my 5 stars, because this is the only thing that holds the game back!

Like all millenials I played this game on the 1995 PS1 first version of the console and I still have the game. Got excited that I found it for android. This game was already damn hard I had to use cheat codes to get close to passing. The controls on the touch screen just makes it even more difficult.

I was really enjoying playing this! I had finally got used to the glitchy controls when i accidently went back to the main hub page of the game, when i went back to the first level by accident and tried to get back onto the hub, the game glitched out, showed me a bunch of ads and wouldnt return to the hub :/

Game is as good as it was when it was first realised. But the Controls are making this unplayable all to as often you can end up ducking due to swipe control. Shame no option for a static D pad

I really wanted to like this but the controls are awful, making the levels even harder than they should be (and I've heard they were originally pretty hard to begin with!). So disappointing. I've been waiting for a good classic platformer to come to Android and I thought this was finally it. I was wrong. Maybe if the controls were fixed it would be better, but I don't know. It's just too damn difficult.

You have to drag to move, the joystick moves to wherever you touch and then you have to drag in a direction. Games like this need a fixed d-pad, give us that option. I have no idea what moron thought these controls were acceptable.

I remember playing this on my PS1 way, way back! Glad to see it for android! It's perfectly playable using touchscreen controls, this one has surprisingly responsive ones in my opinion. For those finding it difficult to control, complaining because there's only touchscreen controls available, don't downrate just because of that. Some people CAN control touchscreen games, even action-oriented ones just fine with only them, it's a matter of getting used to do so! And of course, how the controls were implemented in this one is good and responsive too in my opinion.

I remember playing this on my PS1 years ago, as it was one of the first games I got for that console. Truly one of my favorites, with its catchy music and colorful cast of characters and world! Unfortunately, the touch screen controls are rather unresponsive, especially if you're a guy with big hands like me. The touch area for movement seems to shift from its place every once in a while (pretty sure it's not even supposed to do that) and it messes up whatever direction I'm currently going in.

Game is obviously amazing, played and finished it like 3 times in my life and enjoyed every bit of it. I try playing this with an external remote via an OTG USB adapter, but it doesn't support anything but the on screen controls. It will make the game much more enjoyable for many, please fix!

Ubisoft has once again brought the classic Rayman we love to a device we keep on us at all times.

I was excited for this, however... if you don't pay to remove ads they pop up a lot! The controls make this game stupidly difficult to play to the point it is almost unplayable. I also spent 79p to "remove ads" and well I still got ad's. I don't really recommend this.

The d pad follows your finger press so moving around is hard work. Had they have stuck to a fixed Dpad this game would have been so much better. Always great to play the classic rayman but unfair controls make it difficult to play resulting in a very frustrating experience.

It seems little though went in to designing the controls for this game, it's very clunky. 2D platformer games works best with directional pad, can't believe the messed this up and there isn't even an option to changes the controls. Plz get your crap together and fix this.

Great ad player - also I think there's a game in between the ads. Ubisoft is "giving" this away as part of their 30 days of giveaways. I take my garbage out every week, but I don't put a bow on it and call it a gift to the garbage men. I guess I think more highly of them then Ubisoft thinks of their customers.

One of the best platformers from the 90's is wasted on mobile with the touchscreen controls, 30fps and adverts to make things worse. None of this nonsense was on the Sega Saturn game. Please bring this to Xbox/Playstation instead. I hate that in order to replay it I'm limited to a bad port using my phone.

I purchased this game at £3.99 and am expected to pay again to remove ads. I bought this game before it was temporarily made free. I love Rayman but this is not in any way fair or acceptable. I will restore my 5 star rating if this is rectified for long time fans & supporters alike.

This game is awesome but I wish it had cheats like the old one I bet u won't even see this tho cause I don't think port app developers ever listen to anyone concerns or questions it's like u guys put it on the market and don't even care if peoplr like it or not cause at least your making money of iy

I've loved this game since the original PS1 release. However the controls in this version are very unresponsive. Several times while playing the virtual control stick has locked up and not followed the movement of my thumb meaning that Rayman doesn't go anywhere!! I've lost many loves due to this problem!!

Rayman is one of my all time favorite games, I grew up playing pretty much every Rayman game that came out. The reason I'm giving this 2 stars though is because of the developers odd choice to add a weird "analog stick" that appears where you originally touched often resulting in the wrong movement you input. Why couldn't you have just given us a stationary D-pad. That would've been fine, in fact I hope you update the game to include the option to have one cause Rayman is a highly accurate platformer..

This was one of my favorite games as a kid. Glad the full game is available for download and it's free. But really dislike the joystick. It doesn't move correctly. I wish there could have been a D-Pad instead.

Rayman is one of my favorite platformer series, and while I prefer most of the non-rabbids sequels to the first installment, the original still holds a special place in my heart. The achievement system adds another layer of enjoyment to the classic. The only problem is the touch-screen control, which with this game is a huge issue. Because of how the movement was handled in this port you will end up dying a lot more than you would in any other version, as the joystick configuration here is sloppy.

Yeah it gives you good memories but don't waste time until they change it into a d-pad not a joystick. Unless you like using joystick controls. Or they let us use a dam usb controller.

Rayman 1 is a classic, and is known for being stupidly hard. This port helps, by adding an easy mode for infinite lives, which is great. What's not so great are the controls. Just make a normal d-pad and it would be fine. Not this stupid touch joystick.

The game is great. But it might take a while to get used to if you're not used to the controls. Better off getting it for PS Vita or another hand held with buttons because of It's precision of platforming.

Wow, this is just as I remember! The controls take some getting used to. All in all it's a great game, and I love reliving some of the memories from the original! Oh and one thing they added in this version is to be able to set the difficulty which is really useful.

This game sucks. It is frustrating as hell. You can barely finish the 2 world,because it is hard. Not to mention the fact that to fight Mr Dark you have to collect EVERY SINGLE electoon! This game is horse sh*t.

I have seen complaints about the controls, but i've had 0 problems. I suspect that the complaints are coming from casual gamers that lack the ability to adjust to the difficulty. This game has a rep for being difficult, so if you are a casual gamer or you don't like a challenge, this game is not for you.

Game runs really slow at full speed, feels like half the fps of the originals. Controls make platforming almost impossible and the ads are absolutely obnoxious. You can always turn off your wifi/data to disable the ads but there is no fix for the broken controls. As you gain powers you run out of room on the screen for buttons even with large devices, and the virtual analog stick is too close to the left border for comfortable or fluid control.

I love the game, and the app. It's always going to be difficult to have decent controls on a phone. I can live with that. I think some parts are different to the original too. That's made it nigh on impossible to complete, but I'll improve. The jump button sometimes gets stuck and you end up starting the whole stage again. Overall needs improvement. I still love the game and apriciate it.

I never played the original Rayman so when I saw this I downloaded it instantly! This game is totally worth playing! The game's fun, even though you backtrack to the first level after achieving punching powers. This is defiantly where new Rayman fans should start! The only question I have is what is the silly face for? Is it a taunt?

I loved this game when it was released with the original Playstation. I actually still own it. Wanted to try it on mobile. The joystick controls aren't bad, but they aren't good. D-pad would be better. The other buttons glitch, making the game almost unplayable. Fix these issues and I'll give ya'll 5☆

Tincore is a must to make this playable, can't recommend this version by its own merits, bought it just to give support because I emulated it on epsxe and loved it

The app crashes all the damn time. When you try to start a level itll crash, ir if you accidently press the home button and try to get back in the game, it crashes, hell sometimes you cant even load the game because it crashes before the main menu. And with such a punishing game that requires pretty well timed inputs, it is rather important to have a reliable control layout. Which this app doesnt. Its unresponsive and sometimes it locks you into a certain input, and isnt customizable. Terrible

Would prefer if the circle pad was locked in place. It's very confusing when I adjust my fingers and the circle pad moves around, causing wrong moves constantly. Feels very flimsy and unreliable as it is.

Loaded fine. Went into first level and got hit with an unstoppable ad after two steps. Did the 1995 classic have ads? Didn't think so. Uninstalled. P.s. got this for free, still not worth it.

The game itself is great since it was the first for me, but as you already know, the performamce of the controls are very lacking. Their response levels are very slow and sometimes don't respond at all. The game even crashes on me time to time because of how slow it is.

Rayman was amazing as a child and once I found it was actually a thing for mobile I rushed over to download this classic onto my tablet..... only for it to not function. So it crashes once I get the first level going and when it does the music somehow still plays once it has told me Rayman has stopped. Whats going here?
