Just Dance Controller

This app was super quick to link up to the game when I first downloaded it. It even worked just fine for the last couple months. All of a sudden, it stopped working and wouldn't connect to the JD2017 game. I have an XBOX ONE S and a Galaxy S6 and I even tried connecting by pretending it was from a different device, didn't work. Now today I go in and give it another try. It WORKED by signing in as PS4! Love the game but what a headache!!!

For starters the app for some reason defaults to thinking I'm connecting to a ps4, and after following the instructions and inputting my iP manually still nothing happens. I know that they are both connected to the same network because I can cast things to other devices on the same network. I am using an Xbox one s, and an s7 idk if that affects anything but I feel like my money was kinda stolen from me under the guise that it works on Xbox one with the smart phone app. Any help would be much appreciated

I have a wii u just the regular wii game for just dance and this controller app does not work for it even though it says it works for wii u. It is just dissapointing this doesn't work because I was looking foreward to playing with more than one person and now I can't unless I go out and buy another wii remote. :(

We played this on day 1 with a Galaxy S5, S4, and an iPhone 7. No issues in 2 hours of playing. Tried again tonight adding a Galaxy S7 to the mix and we disconnected at least twice a game. Switched it out with an S6 and got disconnected again, but not as bad. Same results on 2.4 and 5 Mhz networks.

My phone (Samsung Galaxy On5) and Xbox one are both connected to the same Wi-Fi and it doesn't read. It keeps asking about a PS4. I feel duped. Returning the game because it's unusable for us without the app. We tried connecting manually as well and that did not work.

I downloaded the app so I could play Just Dance with my sister. To make it work you have to connect to wi-fi, so I did. When my sister connected both of the apps shut down. So we tried again. Same thing. Now we have had to buy special controllers. Don't buy the app. It's a waste of 20 minutes. I hate it!!!

It worked the first day we got it, but since then, nothing. The app doesn't connect to any phones anymore. Tried it on iPhone 7, Galaxy S6 Edge, iPhone 5s. None worked. It keeps asking if it the phone is on the same Wifi network (it is) and then says it can not connect. What a waste of time and money. I bought the Just Dance Unlimited pack... I am going to request a refund.

The app worked the first day but not the second. I have reported this and I'm awaiting a response. What I will say is why do people who now have disappointed children get called 'haters' for giving it a bad review? This app has failed to work properly for many people, and we're not all using it wrongly or stupid. I got it working right the first time, but the app is clearly unreliable. Please use it more than once before reviewing.

It's a stupid idea, the phone slips out, screen turns off, controls suck, camera thing sucks, uplodes don't work, and most things can only be done if you have just Dance 2017, no lower version! Don't waste your time!

This doesn't work for our ps4. I downloaded the app on both mine and my bfs phone and it tells me, "Oops, we can't connect." I only bought 2017 because I didn't need to buy controllers, and it won't work. I know we are on the same wifi because I'm not retarded (and the youtube app works fine). This game was a waste of money, which is sad because we still play 4 on wii all the time. Dissapointed.

The phone app worked for 2 a weeks. Tried a second phone and it worked for another week. Tried everthing..settings, wifi. Re-install app... concluded it's crap. Does not work. I want my miney back for the just dance game

As with everyone else i cannot connect or if i do it disconnects after a few minutes. Oddly it worked great on Christmas day but in and out ever since. I disagree with reviews that day we are just not doing it right. There are far too many of us with an issue. I got on the Ubisoft website to find out what is being done and there is nothing to suggest they have acknowledged the problem. Please Ubisoft, What are you doing about this. I have an unusable game

I'm not able to enjoy the game. It keeps disconnecting midsong which kills the fun. Ubisoft has a terrible server that cannot keep up. I wrote to Ubisoft about the issues I'm facing a week ago, but no response. A very disappointing experience. Ubisoft should shut this game down because it cannot maintain it with poor server.

People seem to think that this app is stupid and are having connectivity problems... lemme just say there are probably some reasons for that. 1: Maybe your console isn't in the same Internet connection as your phone. 2: Maybe it isn't catching your movements because you aren't holding the phone correctly. 3: It could also not be capturing your movements because you probably exited the app on accident. (Which has happened to me before.) Other than that and a avatar gitch it works just fine!

I used to not have problems with using the app on my Samsung Galaxy s5 for Ps4, but now it's stops working in the middle of song for no reason. I really enjoyed the whole using your phone concept bc then I didn't have to spend $$$ on move products for ps4.

It's a great concept and it worked on 2015 & 16 but it won't connect as well to the 2017. It stops in the middle a song to tell me my phone disconnected. It also doesn't register some of the moves. I don't wanna have to buy a remote to play, so please fix this problem. Thank you.

I bought the Just Dance 2017 on Steam, and installed this app on my phone (Sony Xperia C5). I could get it to connect but the problem is when I'm holding my phone on my right hand and dance, it doesn't pick up any movements. May I know why?

It seems the only comments are bad. It worked first try and it works perfect for me. Just make sure your on the same network as the PS4 or xbox

We only purchased the game because we were told we didn't need the connects...all we needed was a smart phone. The app does not sync with the xbox. We used numerous phones and tried numerous times. We ended up buying connects just so we could play the game...totally not right.

Every time I play, I play with guest account because it refuses to connect to Ubisoft. Why give me avatar rewards if I cannot log to Ubisoft login to use it?

Doesn't work. All the WiFi settings and connections are correct, but my Xbox one still can't detect my phone. The app also keeps telling me I'm using a PS4, when I'm not. We tried a Galaxy S7, iPhone 6s and 7.

My phone and my Xbox one are on the same WiFi connection and just dance 2016 still doesn't work. Fix it

The first day I played it and it went perfectly fine. Then when I try and play it the next day, it disconnects me every time I'm trying to dance. This problem needs to be resolved.

Worked for about 3 weeks and now nothing. The app won't connect to my Xbox One S. I feel like I've been robbed from this company. Customer support for the game was very unhelpful. I will find someone involved with this company to file a complaint.

I have a Samsung 7 edge and when I try to connect my phone to my Xbox one, it keeps saying that I am not connected to the same wifi, but I have already confirmed it was. I tried to set up manually, but it keeps tells me the same thing.

Read the reviews on here and was worried but it works perfectly. Easy to set up when following instructions on ubi soft website. Great game. Connected 2 phones and all worked fine!

Xbox one Just Dance 2016 not recognising my Samsung GALAXY S5 on same WiFi. Waste of money purchasing game for kids birthday.....NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!!! Please address the issues that I and many others have with this app & game

Ok so I bought this think it would be awesome I put it in and atempt to connect my phone it's a Samsung Galaxy grand prime which is a smart phone as it requires long story short I spent 4 hours trying to connect it why does this not work and why haven't you fixed it

The app worked just fine the first week. Now, it doesn't work at all. I don't own a kinect, so now there is no way to play the game.

phone has only connected once. same network.. saying its not. redownloaded app. still an issue. pointless if u cant use it.

I have Xbox One and my phone (Npote 4) connected to the same WiFi modem and not work. I tried connecting Xbox with LAN Cable and not work. Please help!!

Literally useless, constantly disconnects from the game, especially when you are in the middle of a song/dance and then takes a few minutes to reconnect just to disconnect again in seconds. I have perfect WiFi and connectivity, beyond disappointed

Doesn't work on S7Edge with XBOX One, tried so many things such as setting ip address manually and switching routers, but still wouldn't connect.

For some reason, my JD2017 on Xbox One couldn't connect to my app, but I tried setting the app as if it was searching for a PC instead of a console and it worked!!! It worked like a charm after that but that extra setting is not something that should be there.

I get OK most of the time :/ but idk it might be my Xbox one or my internet please make it better

No issues here,. Not sure why other people are complaining. We got it working on 2 iPhones and the Google pixel first shot. Was a blast!

You have to hold your phone with your right so maybe if you update this app so you're able to use your right handed or lefted handed also it doesn't even work I had to just go buy a kinect

First of all, for all those people out there making the just dance company feel bad because of all your hate comments. To be clear, the app DOES work. Most likely for you guys that said it doesn't work is because 1. Your not doing it right. Or 2. You have a crappy phone that stings. (I think its number two for all of u). So stop saying it doesn't work because a lot of people us it. And also it works for me. That's all I have to say. And if people read this and get mad, sorry for proving a point

Must have improvement: the app must not drop connectivity to PS4 when the phone screen turns off.
