Assassin’s Creed® Unity App

The app itself needs some work, especially with app breaking bugs. However there is one thing this app does better than all other and is very consistent at doing so. It makes my phone nice and toasty. I love using this app on those cold winter nights, just turn the app on and place the phone in your pocket. You'll never have those cold nearly frost bitten fingers again! 10/10 best pocket warmer, would recommend.

Doesn't work. But does anything Ubisoft develops work? Won't connect to servers. I am new to the game Unity, but they advertise the heck out of this in the game and I received an email two days after I started playing to welcome me and sure enough an entire section devoted to getting you to download this app. Not sure who or whom the incompetent ones are at Ubisoft, but it's been a week since I started playing and the thing still doesn't work. Look at all the latest reviews. Nobody can connect, sad really.

It's a cool concept, if the servers still worked for the dang thing... Won't connect to my ps4 unity game... Thinks I'm on PC for whatever reason, and on top of it won't even sync properly with the uplay content I've unlocked so far.... If it actually worked it would be cool, buuuut it doesn't soooo off with its head

I literally used this app once and since then it has not worked at all. When I first opened the app it worked beautifully. I played it for like 5 minutes then decided to play it later, it has not opened since. It goes as far as the loading screen that states " Loading Nomad Simulation" then returns me to my home screen. I have never been more displeased with app. If you are considering getting this, please do not waist your time, space, or money because this app is simply not worth it.

I like how it shows your character moving on the map in real time and everything (and all the little missions, of course) but this app destroys my Note 3's battery life. Drops probably 5 percent every minute I'm on it. No other apps do this. Fix!

I don't see why all these reviews say they're losing sync. I've been using this since it launched and haven't lost anything. Maybe it logged out of uplay periodically, but all I had to do was log in again. Amazing app, especially as a companion app. Try doing an investigation mission without this app! This app allows pretty much everything you can do in game, except control Arno! Ubisoft! Give me a new PoP!

My brother gave me this game for the PS4, so I naturally downloaded this companion app. I thought it was a neat idea, being able to track my character with this app in real time. Unfortunately, the initiates section did not work until long after I beat the game. Seems like they spent a lot of time, making an app that has a lot of unused potential. Ah well nice attempt, app makers.

The items you get from this is awsome BUT it needs to work as real time. (Start a quest / mission) then walk away to continue to do everyday life stuff then log back in to the app what ever time later to pick items up or do next quest. I have noticed that you need to stay in the app for this to happen. Not a big fan of that

Getting it to sync to the PS4 was not automatic. By default the game has the interactive app sync off so you have to switch it. After that make sure you're logged into Uplay with your PS4 and Android device. The app itself is not too bad, if I unlock something in app, I'm able to retrieve it ingame. Only in app annoyance is that when I start it up it will randomly show that I have 0 assassins/and no missions completed. So far I get my record back after I log into my uplay account again.. I'm hoping if it keeps doing that I am able to keep getting my record back. Great when it works, a few tweaks would get it running with ease.

App syncs to me Xbox One. I am able to see live map data and set markers. I have completely cleared one of the three puzzles and missions now... no chests? I have all check marks. Maybe I am forgetting something, but the help on this app is extremely vague - exactly why I will not fork over the $2 for premium.

When in use the app uses a lot of power. So within 2mins; your phone turns into a flaming phone, and makes the battery from 100% to 75% in just two minutes. I just wanted to let you know Ubisoft, your app takes too much power. Is there a way you can decrease the power usage of the app?

Had an issue with sync... Tried forever to get it to connect to my xbox one. I emailed them about the issue but got no response like other complained about. Figured out how to fix it on my own after a lot of redownloading and messing with things. App is useful and good once it works. Just dont count on support in a timely fashion.

I been a assassins creed fan since I play assassins creed 2 on Xbox 360 in 2012. I log in and it does sync the first time. I log in again on a different time and it never sync and then it kicks me out. Please fix it ubisoft because I know that you got other issues on different games or apps. Get it done, ubisoft.

Even though I love the franchise and would give every game 5 star's the companion App needs to work 100%.Also the initiates option in Unity WTF never works. I've paid for premium and all I get for it is shutdown after a few minutes on the App. Until then 2 stars fix it and it will be given the 5 it deserves. Otherwise I'll never go premium on Ubisoft products again. And you guys got good games some of the best in my opinion. It'd be a sorry day for me to denounce Ubisoft from my Xb 1 collection.

My issues with the app have been corrected. I do not think the app should have been released when it was, Soo many errors with it but it is stable now and works. Hoping they expand it to include dlcs, and would have have been nice to have a function for checking your club status and competitions but it didn't but works as advertised now.

I've had constant 3 steps forward, 2 steps back with progress on this with progress, assassins and missions being lost. Unplayable now. Also flawed gameplay since can repeat glyph puzzles to ramp up the score. Also heavy cpu usage and makes my phone glow red!

At first I could log into the game and do missions and just get no rewards in unity even though the app would sink with my xbox. Now since early december the game won't let me sync with uplay so now it is just taking up space and holding me back from 100% completion in acu

Most of the time it wont even let me sign in. Others, it still wont connect with my console. Seems like itd be interesting. Honestly I think this hurts unity more than it helps so far. Unity gets 5*. But this? Im not even sure i should give 3. I can see the effort made. The connection is the real killer.

I've used this app for a couple months to get nomad chests in ACU. A recent app update has screwed everything up. It'll say you've unlocked a new chest but then you can't actually open it on XB1. Don't waste your time until it works properly.

A couple days after buying the premium verson of this game it now crashes to a blank screen. When you wake up your screen it will be at the android dashboard. I would love to get a refund for this as it seems like the developer isn't going to update fix any issues.

Black Flag's app was a nice optional addition to the game. Unity's app, until today, was nothing but a tedious time sink that barred you from accessing things in game. Even if you tried to ignore it, you would constantly be reminded with chests you couldn't access in every district. No more. As of today, this abortion of fun is no longer needed. All companion app rewards are unlocked for all players. Maybe there is hope that Ubi won't completely bury such a great franchise under marketing crap.

The game have been working fine till I notice one of my high lvl 21 assassin name Marguerite Huet have been away for the pass few weeks. For no reason... A glitch?

This app would be great for unlocking chests in ACU if it allowed you to link with your Xbox or PS4, but it doesn't. It only says can't connect with PC with no option of changing the platform you use and with that no way of completely synchronizing it.

I downloaded this app in November and was able to use it for maybe 2 weeks, then one day it would just not sync, 2 updates and over a month (closer to 2) and this app still does not work and sync. Very disappointed and losing interest quickly if this is how their games are going to go, especially since I own SEVERAL of there other games.

I have wanted app to work for weeks now still no dice. Seemed like cool idea but no matter what it will not sync or log into ubisoft. I have a galaxy note 4 if that matters. I simply want it to function. I don't understand why the sync won't work still and this app has been out how long... oh I updated today 1/8/14 it changed absolutely nothing...still no sync to ubisoft

Even with the latest update I can do nothing. Two previous resets resulted in no way of proceeding. Need a level 3 assassin and the app won't let me get to upgrades. When I had 6 level 6 assassins and now have 2 level 2s. Plus I am unable to synchronise. No problems logging on to Uplay seperately though. Messages to the developer regarding my issues have no effect.

Version 1.0.5 doesn't work. Nomad Brotherhood greyed out, unselectable. I have over 15k Nomad points and no way to use them. Unable to complete second training mission. I have a feeling if delete my PS4 save and start fresh it might work, but that's simply not good enough. You still suck.

Listen ubisoft you guys need to bring Desmond back in the Xbox, and PlayStation games. He is a pretty cool character, and I would like to see the Templar scum gone for good. Also I would like to see more of Desmond's ancestors they are interesting. Please please please please please please please please bring him back. Besides I saw some theory videos, and I agree Desmond has to be alive. (P.S. I want to see the lady that wanted him to touch the orb eradicated from existence.) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-) >:-)

A lot of people like me take the extra mile and go unrewarded for all of the effort it took. You would have to read unclear instructions that say "play the Companion App", spend several unproductive weeks figuring out how to unlock it, then spend several months training your nomad brotherhood and doing the Pantheon missions, then you have to find the rift artifacts inside the Rift Missions, but when you collect every artifact possible, you learn you've been trolled and three months of your life was wasted.

Battery draining bloated software that is required in order to get items in the game you paid for. Then after waiting hours and hours for "missions" to complete, the "game" decides to randomly wipe out all your progress. And on top of that they want in game micro transactions so they can take more of your money before restarting you all over again.

I put my uplay acount in the app and the same acount in the AC UNITY game and still cant connect them together it said cant connect to PC im trying to get altair outfit for arno so can you please fix this and other problems in this app thanks. (ps) we would all be thankful.

Randomly signs out, stops syncing, etc. Also drains battery faster than using wifi, gps, and spotify all at once. Makes no sense. Drains about 1% per minute.

Fails to sync my uplay acount no matter how many times i try ! Please fix this ! I really wanted to use the app to try and 100% AC : Unity .

It's not fair because I want to play on the game and see what's there and what to hunt. I just don't want to wait for seconds. Please fix and I'll install and give 5 stars.

Lost all my assassins again, and now I have to redo the glyph missions to unlock nomad missions. Again. Also cant view my brotherhood, and finish the first set of glyphs. UPDATE:still cant access my brotherhood.

The app buged out a bit near the end, but I managed to complete it 100%. Now I'm done here. :3

This is still useful after completing AC Unity. Though it runs out of main stream uses eventually. It's still very helpful.

10/1. After an initial fix of being able to login a few days ago for the first time in months albeit with everything but assassins and glyphs gone of which I notified uplay through my open ticket to yet another update which I am once again unable to login. 31/1 bit the bullet and uninstalled the app and reinstalled it. Still unable to play app. Meanwhile my brother downloaded the app today and it's bloody working properly!?

Although the app works well on my phone, and it does connect to my PS4 so I can see where Arno is, it doesn't sync its progress with Unity. I have opened lots of chests in the app but not in the main game. All this app seems to be good for is another way to view the and a 'You Are Here' icon. This review was for an older version as it now says, but nothing has changed. Still crap.

Still no change, No assassins on the 3rd tutorial mission and no way of getting more. 2 level 2 assassins and no way to upgrade them to 3 to complete the final tutorial as the nomad brotherhood option is greyed out! Edit: issue still exactly the same after update
