It uses scientifically proven way of improving your working memory and helps you solve problems faster. It's also fun but not in the way you would expect. WHAT IS DUAL N-BACK
Dual N-Back exercise has been shown to improve working memory and fluid intelligence. Fluid intelligence refers to the ability to reason and to solve new problems independently of previously acquired knowledge. The idea is to keep track of two individual things while playing: flashing square's positions and letter sounds.

You will advance to your current top performance level quite fast and it takes some persistence to get to the next level. On the other hand, the length of the sequence to remember (i.e. difficult level) for each round is deliberately changed quite easily so that there is minimal chance to learn strategies which are actually not increasing your fluid intelligence in the long run.

Well I think this game needs some serious determination to play for a long time.. but yes ,no doubt it increases your intelligence . I had been playing for a month with some off-days and incomplete sessions in between and I experienced some major benefits. I no more forget my keys,work or any daily stuff.. I would like to my level of intelligence as compared to other people. My highest score is 6-n and at a end of the month my average is nearly 5 a day...is it normal or I am weak or better than others..? Also if I increase my rate to 6/7 complete sessions a week,will it hasten development? And if I stop playing of a week or two ,will it result into a downgrade?

GREAT! I wished they showed what the average N-back score was FOR ALL USERS, or within a certain age range. Just to know where you stand or just as motivation. It should be optional if that feature is ever created. FOR PROSPECTIVE USERS - this app really does help your brain. And it does show you YOUR personal improvement. Didnt want to confuse anyone. I definitely recommend this.

Nice game but is it really increasing my iq There should be manual n selection there should be daily score board for every 20 rounds I am plyyaing this game from 50 day and i had maximums reached 5 n am i doing good and in n5 my iq will increse or not But other then that really a well game

Dual N-Back is to microwave cookery, as microwave cookery was to the beat poets. There are times in this game when I will laugh until milk comes out of my nose which is so fascinating since by law I cannot drink milk!

Looks pretty good, but I'm no expert on the matter of IQ. Anyone actually sees progress? I can't seem to get over n=3, but it's only my first day using this thing.

I really wish I could manually set the n. 2n is the perfect challenge for optimal learning for me right now. But it forces me to play 3n which is too overwhelming to make progress. Give me that option and I would love to give you 5 stars!
