Simple, clean program for handling all the number-crunching associated with keeping the score for Canasta Caliente. Supports the Caliente cards, 2 to 6 players, and everything else in the Canasta Caliente rules. Keeps track of who needs to deal, and in 5 and 6 player games which players need to sit out any given hand. Allows you to enter the point values of cards in melds on the table as well as the point values of cards still in your hand, along with Caliente indicators that will automatically double/triple the point value of cards in your hand, and then do the math for you. Scales the controls to fit the (portrait) dimensions of your device for a perfect fit.

My wife and I love Canasta and play regularly. Keeping score using this app is easy and straightforward. It seems to know all the rules (even for the Caliente variation my wife and I don't play) and the various controls 'lock-out' when they shouldn't be used, which makes it harder for us to mess up the scoring which we appreciate! If you play Canasta a lot, you'll like this app.

The Going out/Concealed buttons are disabled with 2 players, forcing the players to have at least 2 Canastas, which in some games we only have 1. Also if I add a 2nd Canasta to enable the going out/concealed buttons, it doesn't let me put in the card score. Then when I remove the 2nd Canasta, it enables the going out/conceal button and doesn't include the going out concealed score. Please fix it!

Good score keeper. The only thing missing is persistent player stats to keep up with individual win/loss records.
