Attack the Light

I absolutely loved the Steven Universe game. And I'm a big fan of Steven Universe because of its magical gem characters and mainly positive plots. This game just ties it all together. Very creative, great graphics , and no problem necessary.

You definitely get your money's worth with this game, it's extremely Interactive and references a lot of really cool parts of the show. The characters and their catchphrases are very well voiced and I felt like I was taking part in a mission myself! The combat is difficult even on the easy setting but not impossible. It really emphasizes strategy and utilizing your items. All in all a fantastic play

Great game, very enjoyable. I did seem to lose all my progress after my phone died due to low battery, just putting it out there for bug fixing. Maybe it's useful to you. Otherwise I really love it and it was worth the money.

Just as all the comments say, this is a wonderfully charming little game that's as fun as it is beautiful. My only real complaint is that it's far too short - you could probably complete it in a few days or even a few hours if you try. Plus, there's no real reward for completing the whole game in Diamond Mode. It's just harder for the sake of being harder. I was hoping for a secret, super hard area or something, but nope. So it has very little replayability.

It's a well done game, fun and entertaining, a nice treat for the fans of the shows, but... The second time i opened the game, after tapping through the credits and cutscenes i got stuck at the title screen cause it wouldn't read the swipe to proceed. I tried everything until i was forced to uninstall and re-install, now it's still having problems, although it worked. Needs some fixing for sure.

The greatest app game of them all. An amazing plot, true to the show characters, awesome leveling and skill trees. Personally, I neglected defense to buff my gems so they could one shot stuff. I just wish they had other fusions on here too. I'll definitely buy the sequel game

In my opinion it's wonderful game with a wonderful concept, but it's just too short in my opinion and considering the fact that it's not free I do believe a little more work and effort should have been put into it to prolong the experience. Of course maybe it's just me completing the game in 2 days, but I still feel like more missions and updates should be added on in the future. Or atleast an Attack the light 2!

Wow. Just wow. First off, this is the Paper Mario game we have been waiting for. This brings me back to the original Paper Mario and TTYD. Almost identical battle and level up mechanics. Really only difference is the lack of open world but hey this is a mobile game so that's okay. Diamond mode is a real challenge for rpg vets like myself. Attack The Light is an excellent addition to the Steven Universe Universe ;) Can't wait to 100% this game and I recommend it to every SU fan.

I love the Crewniverse bc they put so much thought into everything they do, including this game. There was not one OOC moment for ANY of the characters and I appreciate that. The storyline was obviously small bc of it being a small game. The graphics were simplified versions of their show art and it was still amazingly adorable. One of my favorite games and possibly favorite RPG of all time.

I love all things Steven Universe, and have always loved playing the Mario RPG and Mario & Luigi series since being a kid. This game has given me a nice nostalgia trip combining it with my favorite cartoon. Well worth the $2.99 purchase!

Steven Universe!! Well it would be better to extend the max level... it's thrilling how I can upgrade the skills but the level maxed up too fast I can't barely add enough to the stats... and maybe a more long storyline I guess, I'm addicted to the gameplay but I finished it in less than a week... and more characters please ( Rose or Lapis or Lion? maybe ) or at least let the gem fusion be more variable like Amethyst and Pearl or Pearl and Garnet.

I need to complain about one thing. When I was on the 3rd place where you fight the orange light creatures my game restarted and all my data was gone. Is there anyway I can get it back?

This game is much better than I thought it would be. The amount of depth to its Mario RPG style combat system makes it very fun. There's a great level of fan service, and pleasing nods in continuity with the show. However, you don't need to understand the show to know what's going on in this game. I'd really like to see a sequel with more fusion combinations and more characters to play as

This is easily my favorite RPG on the play store. I love Steven Universe to death, and this game is exactly what I need when there haven't been any new episodes. I do think the game could do with an endless mode, or something like that, because after I beat the game, I began to lose interest in replaying the levels. But this game is AMAZING! Believe in Steven!

Every time I close the app or just go to something else it glitches on me and deletes all my progress and even worse I just beat a really hard boss and I've only had this game for 1 day. Please fix this asap

This might just be my phone but sometimes it won't work. By this I mean that it won't register my touch and this doesn't happen for anyting else on my phone. Other than that I think the game is cute and I really love how you are able to interact with the characters and all the secrets.

Great game. Even more so because I love SU. Oddly enough, I do worse in normal mode than diamond mode, tougher enimies are fun. Had no problems running it, but I wish it could've been longer, I was surprised I was able to do it in a day and diamond mode allthroughout. Anyways, this is an exceptional game for its price and my only regret i not buying it sooner. (any news for another SU game like this? Or maybe an update that includes skill reset for glass canon builds)

Wow. THE best RPG I have ever seen on mobile. I love how it breaks the fourth wall sometimes. My only complaint is that THE GAME RANDOMLY CLOSES FOR NO REASON SO I LOSE SOME OF MY PROGRESS. Other than that, it's a gorgeous and great game. I love the battle system.

The game is fun, but I lost all of my progress. I was playing it for probably an hour, then after getting through several worlds (or whatever they'd be called) I closed the game. Later (just now) I opened it, and it showed 0% progress with none of the worlds unlocked other than the first (tutorial).

The controls are good. The combat is really fun, making sure you're engaged in the combat for maximium offense/defence. The added diamond mode makes for replayability. Overall I love this game, but there are a couple things I'd change: 100% voice acted (preference). Move the final boss and put him in a final dungeon. Didn't like how I couldn't fight the red boss. And lastly making it easier to designate which enemy your attacking. Had times where i hit a stunned unit because he overlapped on another unit.

I really enjoyed this game. Only thing I'd ask for is some way to view your achievements. Also would be nice if there was a special reward for getting 100% on all levels aside from an achievement. Would still recommend this to anyone, it's super fun to play.

This game rocks. (Pun intended) If you like this show, then you should definitely buy it. My only quarrel with the game is a personal one. I would've liked it if they added more updates to go along with the show's progression, like Connie. Otherwise, perfect.

This is one of the best mobile games out there. There are no obstructive ads or sneaky in app purchases. The gameplay is very similar to Paper Mario, and all the enemies and attacks are varied enough to keep you entertained for hours. There are about 40 stages in this game, each of which take 10-15 mins to do.

I'm a hardcore gamer, and I thought this would be a short and easy cake walk. Nope, when I thought the gameplay would dull down it didn't, and bosses forced me to use health packs. This is a well made RPG, that can beat any free game out there.

This game is an average RPG with all the mechanics of one. The story, while it could have tried to be intergrated with the TV series, it's still good. I think they should have waited a little. By the time they realeased this, Steven was still pretty vanilla,compared him in the show now, and we still didn't get Sardonyx, and Pearl and Amythest's fusion wasn't used alot. It ends up being, the gems are pretty limited in terms of attacks, but the game is still good.

Lovable characters, an interesting plot, challenging battles and exciting items! Awesome awesome game, and I generally don't enjoy RPGs. Highly recommended and well worth the money. The only tiny grievance I have is that the graphics could be improved quite a bit, but that hasn't hindered me from loving this game whatsoever.

A great game for those who love the show or just want a fun game to play. I like how it's like an rpg but you have to tap the screen for hits to defend or do an extra attack. It keeps you into it, and it has amazing music!

This game ended up turning out really good. My only problem is it's a bit on the big side for my phone, so it does lag a bit, making timed-based attacks a bit on the hard side. Other than that, it's amazing and I love it~

It's very reminiscent of Super Mario RPG with timed attack/defense and such. Well balanced (slightly difficult), and I'm wagering at least 10+ hours content for 3 bucks. No in-app purchases. This is the best mobile RPG ever.

30 character levels?! Come on! I'm only half way through with the normal difficulty and all my characters are at Max levels? What's the incentive to keep playing if my characters will never get stronger? I have no incentive to keep playing and I'm not even done with normal difficulty. OTHER THAN THAT ONE ISSUE, the game is near perfect. It would have a 5 start rating if it had reasonable levels.

I was really hopping to play this game but instead I got a picture of the temple not that I don't like the temple is just that I had to cry for this game to my mom and when she finally gave it to me I was so ready to play but instead I got a picture of the temple I am getting my money back

This is a fantastic port but I have one feature request. Could you include play games support for saved game files. I have had my entire progress wiped twice, with one of them being when I was on the last level.

So much action and it has a nice balance of challenge/not too challenging. Plus I love making my own choices in the conversations you get to have with the crystal gems and the leveling up is so amazing. I played this for hours and didn't notice it had been 4 hours and I still have 3 levels to make 100% I would definitely pay to play more levels as well as more characters and different gem fusions. You get your money's worth guaranteed. Recommended for any age totally!

Being a huge fan and long time supporter of Steven Universe, this game was a must for me when i first learnt about it. And its everything I could ask for (I replayed and mastered the game around 8 times and i ♥ it) Grumpy studio together with Crewniverse did a great job. Characters acts same as they would during the show voicecasting is perfect, they even use quotes said during episodes and humor is fantastic! (Pearl's "Are Pee Gees" are very funny XD ) . I have to pinpoint music and colors, its beautiful.

Very polished RPG, great variety of attacks, enemies and actions, cute visuals and animations. Diamond mode refreshingly challenging (I skipped Normal). THERE ARE NO MICROTRANSACTIONS, THANK YOU BASED DEVS. Means no artificial paid grind or obstacles. Wish this was a full fledged 3DS title with a bigger budget. Only negative is doesn't retain state when tabbing/turning off screen (kicks back to home) which means I've had to redo stages I didn't finish in one sitting, would love for that to be fixed.

I truly enjoy this game for not knowing much about the cartoon. This is how a RPG should be. It is sad there is nothing else like this. I would gladly pay more for a sequel out update. My only gripe is the level cap. I am on the third level and already maxed. I hope for a higher level cap, more skills, and maybe different fields in the future.

Really fun game that feels true to the show in every way. The gameplay is particularly important as it matches that of action RPGs and makes the battles feel more expressive.
