Monsters Ate My Metropolis

The game is one of the best mobile games I've played. Sadly, it looks like it's been abandoned with no sequel that I'm aware of. There's a lack of new content and the game's in need of some balancing. At the very least, if the game is already shelved, I'd appreciate if we could get some free big packs without having to wait a week at a time.

It's a really addictive game. No you do not have to spend money to play, I only watch the ads to get extra gems and then get card packs with those gems when they go on sale. Yes, if you want to rank high you will have to play often. If you have a good strategy then you can make it to the top tier of each tournament

People claiming you have to pay to win are wrong, I am consistently at the top of the leaderboards without spending any money. Very fun. Find me: either Sunnyvale TP or Trump Likes Boys

It's a lot of fun at first, until you get to monster rank that is. Then the game is dominated by those who spend money on this game. Lots of it. Diamond cards will decimate your health in 1-2 hits while the color chart becomes almost pointless due to opponents overpowered cards. You'll have fun for a little, just don't let yourself waste the money on cards. Oh, and save up your coins for valuable gold/diamond cards

Great game. Submitting a glitch is severely lacking. I had over four thousand XP to collect for my city and an error occurred and I was unable to get any of it. Tried setting up an email to resolve the issue with no success. Game is great aside from that problem

This is the best app I've ever experienced. I love this game with all of my heart! Everytime I take a break at drawing, I play this game for the rest of the day. Amazing graphics, amazing monsters, everything in this game is amazing to me. Great job, Adult Swim! (:

The match ups need to be better balanced. Those gold and diamond city's should be taking on way higher level monsters than they do. Sometimes I'll get killed in one hit and I won't even have a chance. Balancing definitely needs to be hotfixed.

This could be better if you can EARN Gems a little easier and a goal because fighting with just the tournament is boring. You'll be having a hard time to gain cards. Make it better please insert a more wide gameplay.

I love this game, but it closes on it's own so much when I try to pick a city to battle. It never used to do that in the past. Also, claiming my XP from battle reports is impossible now because the game freezes when "connecting" to claim the XP. I've been cheated out over 20,000 XP and a city level up because I close the app and open it again while it's "connectin," so it thinks I've claimed the XP when I haven't. Not cool

I still prefer Super Monsters Ate my Condo but this is quite fun. A little slow if you're not willing to pay for the diamonds and relying on tokens alone to get the cards.

Love the game,just get sick of the free apps with energy. Let me buy the game for a couple bucks to play as much as I want. Other than that awesome game!

I've been playing this games for a few weeks and in some battle events my game freezes and don't let me play so i have to quit it. When I come back it's worse than loose a fight, because I DON'T GET ANY POWERFUL ENERGY, COOL TOKENS OR EXPERIENCE. Please fix that and i'll give 5 stars. On the other hand, every one claims to see more adds, i see very well to limit us, if not, I tell you for sure that I'll spend the "60 minutes in adds to afford an 2500 gems pack."

I really like this game, it feels new and silly and you cant really get mad if you win because of the nice atmosphere. I expected more cards from other adult swim games but I gues we only get items from the pikpok once which is still good. The only Issue I found with this game is that theres not really much of anything. We cant customize our city or monster to give it a feel like hey this is F2Thousands city. Or like a chance to do 1v1 against players that are online for betting cards or tokens.But the game is still enjoyable and great entertainment! Keep it up!

The game is fun enough... As long as you don't intend on being high ranked, since that requires of you to pay/cheat your way to the top. I wish there were better card pack deals using gold (also limit stealth cards in decks)...

This game has turned into a bit of a rager. I agree that is pay to win now. Most of the time the hand I'm given in the beginning of a battle is pretty bad, despite me having the "upper hand". Odds are kinda...bad I guess on getting your main opposite coloured cards. Pretty much only complaint though.

Love the game. Super time consuming and entertaining making it a winner in my book. There's clearly cheating though, and pay to win is obvious. I spend days getting enough coins and gems for packs. Then I get these bogus cards that are completely useless. You have a silver card that 35 damage?

This game would be another home run, if it wasnt for the fact the game is nigh on impossible with the cards you get playing the game normally. Emptying your bank account seems the only way to get cards good enough to win anything. I get beaten endlessly by much lower level cities. Its a huge pain that ruins an otherwise good premise.

To do well, you must pay for the good cards. I lose 90% of the battles because my highest card does 250 damage... most everyone else's cards are at least 1000. Sucks, But like i said... addicting.

As soon as the online portion of the game comes up it froze up. Happened twice and the game doesn't appear to work as such. Too bad I guess.

Love the crazyness and wackyness of that game, played till I got to the top rank and unlocked most achievements, even invested couple of bucks on the coins, on iOS. Simply I love it. It's like tetris on steroids but different. Then I switch to Android, looking for the game, then I stumbled to this game. Installed, got to the monster selection then it hangs on me. Killed the process, entered a game played couple of cards then got hang again. My device is OnePlus One. Please fix these crashes. Thx.

Loving the game, it's everything you'd expect from an Adult Swim/PikPok product, but between the ridiculous prices and the rampant cheating, the fun is somewhat diminished. Seeing someone's city go from 3200 hit points to 8900 (entirely crystal) in ONE DAY confirms that cheating occurs, because nobody's spending hundreds of dollars to do that. You also have no chance of winning if you live in Europe, unless you stay up till 4am to keep your rank.

Of I could figure out how to play. For instance, how does my clearly higher damage card get its attack power stolen by a lower damage card??? The tutorial does a horrible job at explaining much of anything. Just "you attack first this turn, then your opponent will attack first the next turn." Oh and apart from the ridiculously high prices, the game is clearly pay 2 win. I liked Monsters Ate My Condo a LOT better

I've been playing this game for about two weeks and so far have little complaints. The users who pay more are definitely rewarded with ridiculously strong cards but if you understand the color clashes you don't need diamond cards. I admit I payed 12 dollars for some card packs and they've helped but it hasn't diminished the games fun too much. Double tapping the game to speed up the animations is a bonus too. Who wants to watch the same thing over and over again? All in all I would recommend as time killler

Love this game! Totally over the top insane style, great fun, lots of character and great animation. I really hope 'Monsters ate me...' becomes a big franchise! Want to see more! :-)

Well then this is the game for you. I've been playing for almost a month now and I love it. I know some other reviews are saying "pay to play", but I think that's nonsense. Sure you can pay money and get some really sweet cards, but if you invest the time into learning the game you really don't need to. I haven't paid a cent to play this game and i'm consistently in the top 150 of my league every week. Considering i'm competing with literally thousands of other people around the world, I don't think that's too shabby.

This is a great game. I have been playing for over a year. I have never purchased any cards other than what I've earned. People complain about others that buy cards or whatever and it has nothing to do about winning. I fight hard and sure I lose more than I win, but if you fight hard get your decks together, you could be a contender. Love this game. Love this game.

I understand that you need wifi, but even with a excellent signal strength it has a connection error. It seems like it could be a fun game if i could play it

But PvP makes it real obvious there is a push for micro-transactions especially when you've just started and losing every match. The pop-ups make this less fun. The least you could do is issue daily rewards for people to log in.

When I watch an ad to get diamonds it won't go back to the game or it will start the game over and doesn't give me diamonds fix it and I will rate 5

.. Or don't and stay at the lowest tier forever. Super fun and awesome concept, but without shelling out $$ you'll never get the good cards, much less the great ones. I *get* why all apps are pay to win nowadays, but they should still offer us poor joes some sort of reward for being good at their game. (A conquest mode where we play against appropriate level CPU characters, perhaps?)

When I go to review videos to get more gems, it always stops when it has one second left and never loads. Therefore, never giving me the five gems. Please fix this.

It's addicting.. but now I can't connect to any battles. WiFi or cellular network I get the same connection error. From 5 stars to 1

This is a great game, honestly, but I've had to come back and edit my ranking from a 5 star down to a 3 star. I haven't been able to view free videos in the app to earn gems in over a week. I have apparently "already watched them for the day." This is causing me to miss out on opportunities to get cards, and I'm getting crushed in the tournaments because of this. I assume i can't be given any sort of compensation? Please fix this issue and I would happily adjust my rating.

Another great game from the group who made Monsters Ate My Condo! It's very easy to play and not too much repetition or ads. It does take a while to move up in rank and you have to be patient with your coins to get the best card value for them, but that's part of the fun! Highly recommended!
