Hungry Cat Picross

I've loved this app for a while now, but the latest update made me so happy that I couldn't resist reviewing it. My biggest peeve used to be that my music would be paused when I start the app. With the newest update, that is no longer a concern! I literally can't think of anything else about this app that annoys me. I love it, and if you like puzzles, you will love it too.

I cannot tell you how much I love playing this game. My only real issue is there is no way to back your data up. So after completing ALL OF THE GALLERIES, I now have to start over on my new phone :'(

The best picross game out there. There's no other like it. My only issue is this week's new puzzle is a repeat of one from last year. My guess is it's due to a glitch from the update because my daughter has this game on her iPad and the puzzle was different then the one I had. She has not done the update to her game yet.

My favorite mobile game. Good for killing time, relaxing, or just working the brain out a little. My only problem is now that I have every single star in the game I need more puzzles. It took a year to complete, though, so that's great! Replaying gets the job done I suppose. I. Love. This. Game.

Aaaah 2016 Tuesday seasons! This is the best day! Honestly this app has ruined most nonogram/picross style games for me because of how good it is. Fun take on keeping track of colors which I wish I saw more often in these games. Only problem I had was when I ran out of puzzles! Even went back to get three stars on everything. Great job!

This game is super awesome, I'm playing it for YEARS! I don't know if the developer reads this, but can you make it possible to delete all of the game progress? This game helps me when I'm super bored, but I solved almost all of the puzzles and weakly puzzles are kinda not enough for a crazy picross addict. I'd love to start over again when I finish all the puzzles, but it doesn't feel right when I see what was on the picture before replaying it. I'd pay for the delete save option!

I highly recommend this game if you enjoy picross and nonograms. Lower level puzzles are quite simple and easy to figure out but get much more difficult as you get into the higher levels. I really enjoy the challenge. Also, you don't really have to worry about running out of puzzles because there are tons in the game already and they do weekly puzzle challenges every Tuesday. Thank you to the devs for such a fun and free game.

I love this game! Only sad part is I've gotten all the stars for every level and now I wait to only play on Tuesdays. I wish there were more new levels. I don't really like the other picross games. This one is 10 outta 10.

The game itself is pretty awesome, with fantastic puzzles. But it keeps overheating and shutting my phone down. Twice when this has happened it deleted all my progress. And I don't just mean the progress of that day. No, it started me back from square effing one. Incredibly frustrating

I love this variation on traditional picross. I've been playing Hungry Cat for easily over a year, probably closer to two. I enjoy having the weekly challenge as well as the ability to go back and work the different year galleries. I hope the team continues to bring us more puzzles for years to come. Game control wise it is overall smooth. However, I do wish we could adjust the grid line darkness independently from the background color.

Love the game...up to the star system. You get 2 extra stars based on time, an absolutely useless, unrewarding system. If I didn't get 3 stars, I just go back and fill in the shape. I haven't grown or developed my skills as getting more stars would reflect, all I have done is a meaningless, tedious task.

A new puzzle every week. Puzzles are sized to fit your screen so no zoming, etc. Haven't found any mistakes & I played all the levels. And it has the option to "tentatively " try stuff and the either delete or accept what you did. My favorite picross game hands down!!

This is seriously the best puzzle game I have ever played on my phone and I'm so sad that I've done all of the puzzles. I'm grateful that there is a new large puzzle added every Tuesday. This game adds a slight twist to the picross genre that is so brilliant it has forever ruined other picross games for me. I wish it was on Steam so I could do everything all over again. :|

Awesome fill-in game with an increasing difficulty level as you progress. I've never been good at logic puzzles but even I can do this one. Unlike traditional Picross, there are no empty spaces and usually 3+ different colours to work with. A bonus item, paintbrushes, rewarded upon completion of a series, help if it ever becomes too difficult. The pop culture references, like a Bond puzzle the week the movie came out or a random video game character, add to the fun.

Challenging puzzles! I finally got the Totally Addicted Achievement. I'm so glad, I thought I was never gonna get the achievement. I've finished all the puzzles and now I just wait for the weekly ones. I'm so addicted to it.

Thank you for the ability to listen to music again!! So happy! I love this game, but the global score never stays accurate. My global score is almost half a million less than it should be.

Great game, one of the best of its kind. Please add a undo function and a confirmation exit in some strategic places to get 5 stars. Sometimes it's difficult to see the numbers.

This is my favorite game. I've had it for two years and I have played all the way through, then restarted a few times. It's challenging yet not so difficult that it needs all of my attention.

Really well thought out picross variation, with actual difficulty increases on the same size grids, rather than making the game harder by having gigantic puzzles that are near impossible to do on a phone. Amazing job guys, I always look forward to getting a new puzzle each week, though I wish there were more!

Its realllly hard for me to get addicted to games but my friends catch me playing this all day everyday. Its amazing

Best picross game ever. Best puzzle game ever. Not pay-to-win, not annoying ads (there are ads, but you can easily ignore them). Just a really awesome puzzle game. :)

Great picross app with good interface and lots of puzzles. Would be perfect if there was an undo button - sometimes I tap on a square by mistake, and have to restart a puzzle because I can't tell which square I tapped.

I love this game, I never get bored playing it like other games and it helps me stay sharp when it comes to solving other puzzles. There are no glitches or virus', you don't even have to pay for more levels. It's a wonderful game, very well made and excellent to play.

I love this game! I've been playing it continuously since last summer. However, there is a bug in the most recent update for the 2016 Tuesday puzzles. The puzzle for week 44 (Scooby Doo) is actually the puzzle for week 46 (the finish line dude). The puzzles show correctly in the preview, but when you actually select week 44 you have to solve for the puzzle in week 46. Thanks for making this game!

Please please add new galleries. I've done all the puzzles and still do the weeklies, but this app far surpasses the other picross apps so I'm sad I only get to do one per week :P

I enjoy the new weekly picross puzzles but was disappointed that they repeated a picture they had done before for the new puzzle this week. It was not challenging because once I noticed it was the same as one of last year's puzzle, I finished it in no time.

The game is awesome and I anticipate every Tuesday. But the level of the 2016 Tuesday grids featuring Scooby-doo is faulty. Please fix that soon.

I still love thi game and I loved this weeks Tuesday puzzle (Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild). Please do some more like this when some more notable Nintendo Switch games come out.

Thank you thank you thank you for changing it so you can listen to music while playing! This is my favorite game and this was the only thing preventing me from playing. Love it.

This is the best value I have ever gotten in a mobile game. New weekly puzzles, bonus expansions, and the sheer volume of content is amazing. The game system is fun and entertaining and much more intuitive than standard picross games. Highly recommended and worth more than they are charging.

One of my favorite android games ever. Have played it since I had an old Kit Kat phone. Great little game to pass the time. Fun to pass the time and makes you use your brain. Thanks for the latest update Tuesday Quest. Also, the game seems to run at 60 fps now. Looks and plays better now!

Pretty much endless picross fun. Not only is it the best picross game available on the store it is also completely free! The devs deserve an award.

Found bug - in 2016 weekly Tuesday Quest challenges, week 44 (which on main screen shows as Scoobie Doo) is actually the same puzzle as week 46 (a runner). Screenshot available.

Why can't I play the Tuesday quest? I've been trying since yesterday morning and all I get is network error and the completed puzzle from last week. I have completed everything else, the only reason I keep this app taking up space in my limited storage, is for the Tuesday quests. If I can't play them, what's the point?

Does not work like a normal picross game. It has made up rules that makes no sense. Sure I can do the puzzles but it's not what picross is.

Just letting you know, in the 2016 seasons, the puzzle for week 44, which displays on the menu as Scooby Doo and a ghost, is the puzzle for week 46, a person winning a race. Week 46 is still the race winner (ended up doing 3 panels of it before I noticed)
