About Particle Physics Simulator

Particle physics sandbox with n-body capabilities where the behaviour of the system is driven by each particle's gravity. Most simulation parameters are adjustable, like the gravity strength, the number of particles, the friction or the collision policy. Some of them can even be operated live during the simulation.
Set your initial conditions and just watch the system evolve or intervene to decide the fate of the particles!

Features:
-Real n-body physics simulation, pure gravitational interactions between particles.
-Create walls particles can't trespass. Watch them bounce off.
-Allow or not physically realistic elastic collisions or mergers between particles.
-Configurable particle colorus.
-Configurable background image/colour.
-Configurable gravity strength.
-Configurable particle mass.
-Configurable particle size.
-Configurable friction.
-Accelerometer support.
-Repulsive forces.
-Shoot particles of different sizes.
-Repulsive particles.
-Static particles.
-Simulation area: screen or big area with panning and zooming.
-Enable or disable the central black hole which exerts a neat attractive force towards the center.
-Enable or disable particle trails (disable to improve performance).
-Modify simulation velocity in real time.
-Particle-Particle and Particle-Mesh simulation methods. Use first for accuracy, use second for performance.
-Display grid densities as background in Particle-Mesh method.

Check out the LIVE WALLPAPER version, it's free and it's also in the market! It will remain with the old version of the app by now.

Very clever - educative and plenty of scope for inventing games, by adjusting gravity, particle forces, resistance, introducing barriers etc. Has been keeping me occupied for hours experimenting with the settings. Thanks for making it available. Keep developing! I now have it on an S3 and it works really well.

This is a very interesting app, and all of the functions work as they are supposed to, no crashes ever. The only thing is that the design of the buttons needs slightly redone to make the app look more professional/release more space at the bottom of the page. But thats it!

I love this app! This app has helped me to better understanding physics! Keep it up!

This game is cool I love particles and like to study them.

I like this app and I've had lots of fun with it, but I tried to install it on my new phone and it won't let me access the menu options... part of the problem is on Samsung for removing the dedicated menu button, but you are supposed to be able to long press the back button, or use a feature called the "assistance menu" to bring up the options menu. Unfortunately nether of these solutions are supported by this app. So I can't use it anymore. :(

The best billiyard game I ever had. There is one pocket in the center and, you know what, no ball falls there. Even some of the balls vanish over time. Amazing! CERN people will love to play this 3D billiyard game too. My phone was soooo empty and had a too much boring day, that's why I installed this game. And this game totally made my day. Pretty impressive.

This game is horrible. These developers should get a different job

R70%

Very unrealistic. If you like physics and planetary motion try."space simulation." I do not own it but I would recommend it

An option to limit how often particles merge would be great, like a minimum velocity to combine and a velocity to cause them to split. The settings seem to be all or nothing though, I'd like to see more options in the sliders. Like the new version.

It gets pretty boring after a while, you should also add an options menu to finetune your settings. :

No idea what anything does or how it works. The app doesn't explain anything.

Not great if you're just goofing around

Had this a while ago on my tablet, and it was GREAT! I can't access that Menu on my Galaxy S6 Edge though...

Would love to see some more additions though. Like particles only merging under certain conditions, this could be dictated by whether the particles are moving fast enough to trigger a merge, otherwise they would just bounce off of each other. Just an idea, cheers!

T70%
by T####:

Please make the diferent sizes of the particles optional, I loved this game so much but now I can't make any of them the exacet same size anymore. Its so frustrating to have a game I loved so much hurt by such a simple change :'(

H70%
by H####:

Could use some improvements in custom ability like moving the black hole, and multiple particles knocking against each other seems to lose energy . Finally a phone should be able to process more than 50 particles at a time. (Not jealous I got s4)

Love to play this game can't wait for new things. It would be cool to have an even bigger area to have things like planets and stuff.

N70%
by N####:

You can get satellites, but to make this game superior, I suggest that once a star hits a certain age, it goes super nova! I also suggest you have smaller particles with each color resembling a recipe, collide together to make a textured planet. And a way to show the gravity power of a specific star.

by N####:

Excellent physics simulator but needs to spawn particles throughout entire square when on enlarged background. Currently spawns them in device viewport, too close to the black hole and simulations end too soon. Also gravity & friction need recalibrating to be less destructive or easier to stay in the interesting ranges (sweet spots). I'm afraid I don't understand mesh mode so can't comment, but recommend more advanced features are pushed down into sub-menu. Gravity & friction should be quick access at top.

N70%
by N####:

This app is really cool, and the potential astonishing. Adding the ability to allow certain particles to only react a certain way with other particles(i.e. red and blue particles collide elastically, while red and yellow particles dont collide at all, and red and white merge etc. ) would be a phenomenal improvement. This app is extremely interesting, and this is the first and only time I've ever gave feedback on an app and I hope to see it improve with time and become even better.

J70%

I'm surprised that no prior reviews point out that the orbits aren't elliptical, with the black hole at a focus. With Einstein effects, orbits aren't precisely elliptical, but still pretty close for any particle that stays far enough away from the black hole. Instead, the apogee and perigee appear to rotate about 120° with each orbit.

Its fun, but it needs a reset button, I also cant figure out what the lightning button does.

Very cool app. Would like more interaction between particle options, such as fusion and annihilation. Overall, a very well done program. Good work, and thanks.

Very realistic simulated gravity makes the orbits chaotic with ever varying results. Hard to stop watching the orbiting bodies. Many parameters are user variable

This game looked sooooo good but i cant change a single thing so is it a bug i guess so but come on fixs it man!!!!!

N70%
by N####:

You guys ruined the game with these updates, before black holes used to suck stars and now they don't

N70%
by N####:

i just got the game on my LG G3 & it seems pretty cool but i have no settings button so i cant change anything

N70%
by N####:

Could you add a feature where the little particles collide with other little particles and become bigger... and if the big ones collide they make debris(little particles) just a thought. Great app

N70%
by N####:

This is just a pseudo-Newtonian inertial gimmick. There's nothing relevant to particle physics.

G70%
by G####:

I love it but I wish that each particles has it own gravity(since they have mass).
