Templar Assault Elite is a turn-based strategy RPG which pits the venerable and mighty warriors of the Templar Order against the destructive forces of the Star Traders Quadrant. Build, equip, and control you Templar squad on the field of battle as you face aliens, xenoform, forgotten evils, pirates and heretics.
In this sci-fi tactical role playing game (RPG), you maneuver your indomitable but cumbersome warriors through tight spaces aboard starcraft, on the surface of planets, and in deep and ancient mines and temples. While protected by the mighty Templar armor, and wielding the destructive powers of the Leviathan weaponry, you must coordinate and command your warriors with skill to survive the horrendous forces of evil.
Templar Assault Elite takes inspiration from Star Traders RPG, and the Aliens films, to produces a high-tension game that requires a unique level of focus and skill. Your Templar Knights are a tight knit team of warriors capable of combat in any environment -- however, their enemies are dire and mighty and only by working together and with strategic unison can they prevail.

As a Templar captain in this strategy RPG you will:
- Face hours of high-tension combat across many campaigns (100+ levels)
- Deploy specialized soldiers -- the Hydra flamer, Neptune heavy gunner, and the melee berserker
- Battle against xenos forms, aliens, spawning egg-sacks, ancient evils, pirates and heretics!
- Use the vast armory of Templar arms and armor and special item upgrades
- Train each of your Templar soldiers as they gain experience from level to level to increase their prowess

Very fun, do recommend if enjoy games like Space Hulk/X-Com. Good music&art. Combat is very simple, if a little slow paced, though your characters are wearing bulky armor, thus excusable lore-wise. Play tactically, never rush through a level. Am playing on normal and having a good time. Will probably buy full game.

Dunno what you are complaining about, the game is FREE. All of the Trese Brothers' games are dodgy, simple, and bug-ridden at first, then they gradually fix, expand, and improve them, until they become amazing gems. I started with Cyber Knights, and stuck with it until they fixed the bugs and expanded the content, it's now hands-down one of the ten best games on the Play Store, period. I have a paid elite version, worth every single penny, especially for the low price. They do great work.

Playing the tutorial squad, double tapping to skip dialogue restarts the mission. It also stops responding when I swipe down to check notifications, music continues to play but has to be force closed. Skip animation options don't work

The tutorial is minimal as hell, I literally missed 3 rounds in one go ( the bugs acted 4 times in a row. Not four different, 2 bugs took 4 moves 2 attacks and moved again 2 times because I dunnon"reasons" maybe) nothing is really explained and ripping off the worst aspects of Spacehulk(which is a great tabletop game).

Only criticism I have of this game is that I spend far to much time playing it. It is so much fun though and if you were a fan of the old space crusade game, you'll love this!

I'm a huge fan of a couple other games by this developer. This one unfortunately doesn't live up to the others. The time it takes to execute movement outside of combat is about as much fun as watching grass grow. Obviously this game is meant to emulate the old Space Hulk RPG (Warhammer 40K precursor). If you're a fan of old school tabletop RPGs check out both Cyber Knights (Cyberpunk/ Shadowrun) and Heroes of Steel(D&D) They are very solid turn based games by the same devs

Solid action RPG. One thing that is annoying is the secret secondary objectives, which you have no way of finding except by accident. If these were made more clear, I'd give it stars.

This game is an excellent homage to Space Hulk, but it has even more to offer, with squad building, character advancement, and customization. The AP system is (for the most part) an improvement on its tabletop predecessor. The writing could be more polished and the interface is a bit klugey, but the thing I'd like to see the most would be animation of the xenos.

This game takes me back to 'Space Crusade' on my Commodore 64. Take time to make your moves. Plan well or fall in battle. Simple and east to play. Fun for hours.

I have long waited to play a game that reminds me of "Space Bulk" and you done jest that. I have not found any glitches or any problems with the game but jest simething I would wish is that the flamer and neptune units a little cheaper for recruit units.

Very fun, kind of scratches that xcom itch. However it doesn't seem to let you switch weapons ever. I equipped my captain with a sidearm and i can never pull it out in combat limiting him to a melee weapon, which had gotten him killed multiple times. When my regular soldiers run out of ammo, an option appears to switch their weapons. This should not have been made contextual. So close but that one issue really detracts from the game for me. Will give 5* if option is added our if i just missed something

Good game. Plenty for free and not expensive for elite. No ads. Great fun. Occasionally stops responding when checking notifications but picks up again if I switch to another app window and then switch back again.
