Templar Battleforce RPG for Android
Amazing, deep tactical and (light) strategic gameplay!
Great turn based strategy with RPG elements. Love it.
Fun to play hard to master
I've held off and held off writing a review for Templar Battleforce for a long time. The reason is that I wanted to experience most of the campaign, but I found myself loving the higher difficulty levels with Iron-man enabled. This mean't that I kept getting crushed at various points and kept starting again. This is where I think I can now safely provide a review, at least from my perspective. The fact that I couldn't wait to make a fresh start each time and still felt as though the tactical choices presented every game were still fresh and relevant is the highest accolade I can give to any game. I've never felt the need to 'tone'down the difficulty just so I could see the rest of the story and content. I just enjoy those tactical situations so much. So, all that said. This game is inspired by games like Space Hulk. But they have created their own universe and fleshed it out enough to make it stand out on its own. By 'they' I mean the Trese Brothers who have done another amazing job of bringing PC level complexity to mobile devices. If you like squad based tactics with unit progression done right, then Templar Battleforce is for you. No IAP's, constant development and improvement, what's not to love. Believe the 4.9 rating here, this is the real deal and worth every penny!
The Trese brothers make some of the most enjoyable, rich, lovingly crafted, fun and we'll supported video games on mobile/pc. Buying their games is a sure way of buying quality. They do not disappoint.
10/5 would slay filthy xeno for my Lineage again
As others said, very space hulk-esque. Love it, very in depth and excellent missions. Get it already!
Great strategy game.
One of the best mobile games out there. Definitely worth trying.
For the emperor!
Great, additive game for the turn based strategy fan.
A lot of depth, nice pace with plenty of action.
Very good game
Wowwww
Great game
Masterful job
Great game. Lots of depth. A couple of minor quibbles: 1) unclear how critical hits work, despite reading the manual multiple times. Whenever I score a critical, I seem to do *less* damage, confusingly. 2) it would be nice if you knew what the secondary objectives were at the start of the mission, so you could at least hunt for them, rather than stumbling upon them.
Other will do a better job than me to praise (totally deserved) the game. I'd just say, buy the game already ! On a side note, the crit "fix" thingy is baaaad. I mean come on crit a scittering for 70 dmg on penetrating max headshot with 16 focus/stealth and 100% pen rifle. Guh give me some omph back ! No but seriously I am either terribly unlucky or terrible at math (or both) but something seems weird here.
Amazing strategy RPG game the graphics and gameplay are great you can customize your squad including equipment Skills talents gender face name etc it's a lot like space hulk but way better I highly recommend templar battleforce
Amazing deep game that's a great port
Great tactical squadbased game. This is the way how mobile games should be made. Excellent piece of work.
Best 10 bucks you'll spend this month
Hot damn, this is one of the best games I've ever played on a mobile device, and maybe the best turn-based strategy I've played anywhere. This game has complexity without overdoing it for the small screen, has great variety in unit roles, and a really deep campaign that I'm pretty sure I'm not even halfway through yet. Two requests, if the dev reads this: 1) An undo button for accidental moves. 2) A bigger/more opaque End Turn button. I often accidentally preview movement when I'm trying to end my turn.
Would like the game more if it didn't keep pestering me for a rating. The 'ask me in a few days' option is broken and your rating suffered for it. It asked me EVERY TIME I OPENED THE APP - not every couple of days, or so.
Not gonna write a whole essay describing why I think it's good. If you're a gamer, if you played Pokemon when you were a kid, if you knew the elder scrolls series existed before Skyrim, you'll like this game. 100% worth the 10$.
This is by far the best and most polished game I own for Android. No gimmicks, just solid gameplay and story. Great work on this game.
Fantastic turn based game in the family of space hulk. Really well done with a nice story
Quality & quantity!
Lots of fun!
I'm not really into these games. But feel we're losing a battle against terrible developers creating iap and advertising virus ridden apps. So I just bought to support decent devs.
A great game with an awesome mix of tactics and unit customization. My only gripe is with movement being just a double tap on the screen, I sometimes accidentally waste my troops movement points with a careless swipe
Haha life got in the way and I am just returning to TBF after 3 months. To a users feedback inspired update, the Trese bros kill it with constant fresh content. You can count on attention to detail and classic RPG joy for the life of your device and beyond. Buy now gamers no-brainer
It's a fun game, but manually controlling your squad every turn can get a bit tedious
Great game I defiantly recommend this if you like strategy games
Off brand 40k space hulk, with better combat rules. Awesome.
Quite a good strategy game with light RPG elements.
Amazing game poor art
Great game
The guy below me said it is 100% worth it. I agree, but I also think it would be worth it if there were a 1% price increase. But seriously, this is a full game and a lot of fun, plus the devs have given it great support.

Very good game, it would be useful to reveal more of the game mechanics so better informed decisions can be made.
