Short mat bowls is a 2D touch screen game of skill where players take it in turns to bowl down the mat, curve around the wood in an attempt to be the closest to the Jack ball. Points are gained each 'End' for bowls closer than your opponent.
The most points at the end of the game wins. It's like a tactical angry birds, without the angry birds!
Short mat bowls features easy to pick up touch screen controls, great physics and addictive gameplay.
Easy to pickup, but hard to master!
LITE Edition features:
- 3 Game Modes (Single Player, Local Multiplayer and Challenge Mode)
- Connect to Online Lobby to test Phone compatibility to play Online with the FULL version of SMB
- 2 Difficulty Settings
- Choose from 3 Coloured Bowls
- Replay your last shots or watch you entire match
- Speed up or slow down the action in play
- Unlock Trophies by completing achievements in game
- Post to Facebook and Twitter!
- Gain EXP points and climb the online rankings
- Online EXP leader board. Can you become World No. 1?
Clay.io features include PS3 style trophies, facebook / twitter integration. Earn achievements while you play!
Note short mat bowls is like lawn bowls. However lawn bowls is played outdoors on a larger pitch and without the wood. If you like lawn bowls you should also like this too =) You will also like this if you like Curling games or simple touch screen games =)

This game crashes at any given opportunity. Stays on the loading screen so have to force close the game to start again. Please sort this out as it's a good game. I will reinstall this when it's fixed.

As someone who is new to the bowls world, I found this free game a most pleasing introduction. My partner and I have spent many an hour playing this and it has improved my short mat game considerably. This is a gamechanger!

Very, very slow. Bowls have poor trajectories at varying weights when delivered. Does not reflect real short mat bowls game. Not worth installing.
