FEATURES:
1. A Play Diagramming Surface Screen complete with Offense characters, Defense characters, Ball, and Pick chacters. The ability to "Clear" and "Save" provide complete functionality for Diagrammed plays.
2. A ScoreSheet Screen to provide 3 point, 2 point, Free Throw shooting, and Total Points stats, Foul stats, Time outs, and Rebounds and Blocked Shot stats. The user can choose to track any or all of these game data. A "Clear" button allows error correction back 1 level. In addition, a "Save Sheet" feature allows the user to save game stats.
3. A Roster Data Entry Screen to load player number and name into the Tablet for entry into the ScoreSheet. On the 10" Tablet the user can enter 15 players, and on the 7" Tablet the user can enter 12 Players. This Screen has the ability to save the player name data with a "Save" button, and check the saved information with a "Read" button.
Operation:
Following download and selection, the application wakes up in the ScoreSheet Screen (Fig.1). If this is the 1st operation of the app, press the oval maroon button labelled "Roster Data Entry" to go to the Roster Data Entry Screen (Fig2.). In the left hand column on the screen, starting at the top, press the 1st rectangular box of 15 (or 12 on a 7" android pad) . The keyboard should automatically appear. Enter a player number and name and press the "enter" key on the keyboard to move to the second box and repeat with number and name. Enter as many players as you have, and continue to press the "enter" key until the opening screen with the "SAVE" and "Read" and "Return to ScoreSheet" buttons reappears. Press "SAVE". To see the saved roster, press "Read", and all of the names and numbers entered into the left hand column should appear in the right hand column. (Repeat the prior process if data doesn't appear in right column). Finally, press "Return to ScoreSheet" to return to ScoreSheet Screen (Fig1.).
Upon return from the Roster Data Entry, or if the roster was previously filled in (in which case the Roster Data Entry operation can be skipped), the operator is in the ScoreSheet Screen . Press the Green "Add Roster Names" and the numbers and names should appear under the Player label (If an error message is displayed, select not to continue, reload the app and start with the above Roster Data Entry). The user can elect to track all the data--points, fouls, time outs, blocks, and rebounds; or can choose just points or -- points and fouls, or points, fouls,and timeouts, etc. The operation is as follows; press player number-name -- then press activity (ie. "2PT Made"). The display will change with the # 1 in the yellow column under "M"(Made) under "A"(Attempt) and the #100 under "%" the #2 under "Points" and "Score" (Fig3.). Always precede an activity (3PT Made, 2PT Made, FT Made, Foul, 3PT Attempt, 3PT Attempt RB, BL, 3PT Attempt, Rebound, Block) with press player number-name . The "Clear" key will undo the previous operation. The "Time-Out" key increments the Time-Out panel display. Users are encouraged to play with the ScoreSheet mode to familiarize themselves with its operation. When the game is over, the user can press the Blue "Save Sheet" key to save the "Stats" data. (Fig4.) shows the saved "Stats" data as a .png file. The file is saved as "Stats " & current month & number (eg. Stats81) as in (Fig5).
During game progress, the user can press the Yellow "Tablet" key to call the Play Diagramming Surface Screen (Fig6.) In this mode, plays can be diagrammed and either erased (Clear) or (Saved). This file is saved as "Diag & current month & number (eg. Diag8131) as in (Fig5).
