The most recent update made a fun game a chore. Resources are a horrible grind, making what was once a normal in game currency into a second premium currency. Performance became awful, just looking at missions and selecting characters is slow. The new combat system is tedious, unimaginative, and completely unnecessary. I wish I could go back to the old version, this one is not worth playing.

I hate this new improvement! So much lag, it ain't doing anything right, harder to handle, i mean there is so many things i had to press to get a reward than before. I really dislike it.i can't customize their outfit. Everytime im doing it and each time i open it back, all of the characters' outfit are reset to default.i hate it. And it become boring just to watch them fight 'bravely' with the henchman. Same interactions. I want to upgrade them by doing mission not fight like stick

I see most people are of one mind here. I'm not sure what you were trying to accomplish with this update but it's only overcomplicated what was once a FUN and interesting game. The app is hella laggy. I have to change my characters outfits every time I open the app. At this point seems like you're just leeching us for our money what with the fact that coins are so damn unattainable. Thanks Tiny Co, we hate it.

Congrats you've just ruined what was a great game. Not only is the new update seriously buggy and keeps freezing on me, but thw old style game play is now near impossible to advance in and all the new stuff is game play we could get anywhere. You had something amazing and unique... not so much now

the event this time (a force winter) is ridiculously hard??? like there's no way to make the heroes stronger to fight the dark elf? it's pretty obv they want us to spend money but all the more im reluctant to now. the doctor strange event was pretty decent imo tho sigh. tbh i really like this game, and im really hoping they'd take reviews into consideration

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!! This new update was the worst decision possible. Turned a fun, easy to play game into a boring, stereotypical annoyance. Used to be a perfect mobile game. Now, it's the same as many other games I despise: complete missiond for energy, use energy to battle, get rewards from battles. There is no point to even doing the missions anymore. The selling point for this game was a Marvel game with little to no combat. They squandered that, and now the game lags, has errors, and doesn't give me XP & items like it used to. Horrible in every way.

Crappyiest of Marvel Games. Don't download. That's my Honest Review. It had the makinga of a great game. Could have been the Sims of Marvel, but nooooo, unbarebale waiting times, repetitive missions, too damn frequent events that force us to spend real money.... and the icing on the cake, The developer doesn't care for players. I doubt that they themselves play this game.

The new update is terrible. It pretty much deleted all my progress and none of my character are upgraded now. It's also way more confusing instead of being simplified, like it says. I'll probably uninstall if it isn't fixed soon because it's basically unplayable at this point.

Update ruined this game for me. Spent about two years getting characters and upgrading just to be sent back to the start of the story? All characters go back to original outfits every time I load up, characters are borderline impossible to level up now. Or rank up. Since now there are two systems. Why change a game completely as opposed to making a new game?

Please stop. This new update has ruined this game. Tinyco you need to put this back to the previous build of the game. I feel like all my progress has been destroyed and with a new tacked on combat feature that no one asked for. Look at all the negative reviews it is not too late to undo this damage.

*Update: even slower to load. Don't waste your time and definitely don't waste your money* Fun way to play with teenage versions of classic characters. It's not a fast paced game, but it still remains engaging. I wish it wasn't so slow to load and didn't occasionally crash my phone.

To be honest, I don't think this is an upgrade, but a downgrade. Not to mention the game is seriously lagging with many bugs, it completely lost what attracted me in the first place: simple but still fun and interesting. Now you just make it overcomplicate and too hard for players. After two years playing this game, even when I started to feel it's becoming a little bit boring, this is NOT the way I wish it turn out.

DO NOT PLAY! The new update completely broke the the game for me. I've been playing since launch and the fact that they haven't been able to fix this after 2 days is incredibly disappointing. There game had been an enjoyable time killer up til now. One more day and I'm permanently uninstalling.

I like the latest update, but it removed all of my progress towards upgrading Loki. I had about 60 of the items necessary for his Rank 5 upgrade that didn't get converted into Cosmic Particles. Not very happy with that at all.

Tinyco, i really appreciate your time and hard-work in coming up with a new update. The update is good in terms of graphics and some of the gameplay but the cons are first of all the coins, which is now available only very limited which makes the hero upgrades only possible by in app purchases. Thus game progress becomes very slow and gets easly bored.....all the more reason for people to delete the game. I had once rated the game 4 stars it has just gone down to 2 stars.

The update made the game super laggy! Have to always multi tap a character for it to be clicked on. Hated that you can open the boxes from the mission 3 at a time; such time consuming. Shouldn't have update this game, it was so much better when it was simple. Hated the update.

App blatantly lies about requested permissions, firstly claiming to need access to external storage for "an optimal experience" then wanting full access to photos and media, and secondly claiming to need full access to your contacts in order to save your game. Even from Tiny co I expected better than this... ????

This game used to be good but new update has ruined it. The characters keep going back to their level one costume every time I start the game. Coins are difficult to obtain. Battles are difficult to understand now.

The only reason I have not deleted this game in the past is because I have played since it was first released and I have accumulated hundreds of dollars of purchases since then. It felt like a wasted to just drop the game even though it never improved. Now, however, I feel I have no choice. The new update has not only changed the game entirely and gotten rid of most of the things that made avengers academy different from other marvel games it is now visually unappealing but also hard to read and navigate. Not to mention the game has not worked for me or many people I know since shortly after the update. It has now been several days and this game has lost it's chance to prove I should keep it. Even if I were to keep playing it feels as if all of the progress I made was for nothing. Uninstalled.

This game was fun up until this update. Coins are now unobtainable, combat is idiotic, and characters are still at rank 1 outfits! This game is not Future Fight! Combat should only appear in events! Get rid of this update, bring back the previous gameplay and ONLY THEN will I give this game 5 stars.

The game seems unnecessarily complex since the update. The update also makes credits ridiculously hard to come by. I loved this game before the update and played it as much as possible but it hasn't felt the same since. I hope changes are made soon

This new update is seriously horrible. You transformed a Fun game into a Boring game. I liked this game very much but with the new update I am kinda bored with this game now. This doesn't make any sense.Please put back the old version so we can play it freely.

Before the update it was fun but now it's almost unplayable and not sure what to do or what's going on and way to confusing on how to do anything and spending my time trying to figure it out is frustrating and now I'm about to say screw this game why fix something that isn't broken and make it worse. I try for fifteen minutes just trying to figure out how to upgrade the hero and still can't figure it out. Please fix the game

The new update just destroyed everything. The graphics don't look good the old one was very good. Now even the heroes don't wear there uniforms after upgrading them to level 5.and the battle format has become more complicated

Update destroyed the game I loved and spent hundreds of dollars on. I'm at a loss at what to do I know I should just delete it and move on but I've spent so much its hard. But the game is pretty much unplayable at the moment. There is no strategy it just says that. the limited characters u can use after a certain point are useless no matter what combo I try. It doesn't remember the character costumes and when u manually fix it next time its back to square one. So sad. So its too hard to make space like tinyco does in family guy, and futurama, but they can destroy the combat system and make it impossible to upgrade your characters anymore.

Wot the... Why? It's now an overly complicated rpg of sorts. You've completely changed the genre. Why? You've got 10M downloads then you "screw the pooch hard" I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I think the general consensus is to make it stop, put it back like it was, PLEASE.

The previous gameplay was much better that the updated one. This new one just wasted all of my progress and now I have to play again from the very start. I'm very tempted to uninstall the game if things doesn't go back.

I used to really enjoy this game but the most recent update is dreadful. It frustrating and confusing and has prompted me, for the first time ever, to rate and review because I dislike it so much.

I HATE the new update. It ruined everything I loved about Avengers Academy. This is NOT the type of game I was looking for when I started playing! When it reset all my heroes back to level one! Honestly, I may just delete it now. What a shame. I used to love it so much.

New update has killed all my interest in this game. The new mission board is NOT simplified, you can only redeem one mission at a time, random heroes cannot be upgraded (option is just greyed out), combat is more complex and barely explained, and there's no feasible way of generating enough credits to do it all.

The most recent update is ridiculous. Its lost all progress you had before, completely changed the game, and made it 100X more complicated than it needed to be. I hate the update and change on game play. Its terrible.

The update ruined the game. I liked that I didn't have to fight all the time. Special events only was perfect. It is super complicated now. If I wanted to play a game like this I would have downloaded one. I regret spending money on this game and wish I could get my money back. I feel like I was cheated because I spent my money on a different game.

Loved playing the game everything was perfect, feel cheated that pretty much all the time I had put into this game has gone to waste, the new layout is just hard to get around and buggy. Preferred the old one to this as it was more effective than the new update. If it does go back to how it was before what happens resources we spent upgrading everything in the game?

Game keeps crashing all the time. They really need to work on the STABILIZATON of the game. Not so happy with this update it has some really dumb changes and a dumb battle system which crashes the game and then won't open back up.

I really enjoyed the game until the latest update. Graphics are horrible and game play slower and more complicated to upgrade characters. I understand the need to evolve the game and constantly improve it. Unfortunately you miss the mark on this update in my opinion.

New update is not good . All characters seem to be stuck on the base attire as opposed to ur upgrades. Incredibly laggy and even more ridiculous to upgrade characters . Hopefully foxed soon makes me not want to play

I have full stamina yet everytime I try to battle it tells me I don't have enough. Fix one problem, another pops up. Horrible update!

this new update is so buggy and overly complicated. you took a simple fun game and messed it up. The font size, style and color now is difficult to read especially as someone who is mildly dyslexic. disappointing update.

New gameplay will keep things interesting and reduce the grind. 20 gold per mission payout will make it nigh impossible to rank up buildings and characters. Heroes keep reverting to original outfits when app opens.

Hoping that this new update just has some glitches that need worked out like all costumes reverting back to rank 1 outfits or the amounts of coins received after missions makes it almost impossible to rank characters up without having to buy unless thats your companies idea
