This chess clock is the best among the 5 that I have tried. I prefer its minimalistic interface over realistic ones. Moreover, it offers lots of features and detailed settings. The other clocks that I've tried feels like they are created by someone who is making an app for their own use - nothing wrong with that. But this one fits the needs of any type of users. One suggestion: Allow the use of texture for customize screen: either the default mesh or a picture of the player's choice. Despite the nitpick, I think this is a 5-star chess clock. Edit: My previous review asked for the timer to be switched from the active player's side of the screen only. In fact this feature is already there, I just didn't enable it! I guess that makes this app more than a 5-star.

Everything in this app is perfect except for the sound when punching the clock. Only one side makes sound and no sound for the other player. I hope the fix is easy. cheers!

Zero time alarm and negative time are configurable.

When timebar is hidden. We should be able to pause with back button or with menu button... plz add dis.. and one more disable the touch wen my oppenent time is running and by mistake if i touch my clock.. my times automatically started.. it shouldn't happen untill my opponent press his time... major error.. plz solve dis... best appbin d market...

I tried stacks of Android Chess clocks listed on Google Play and they were all flawed in obvious ways, before I even tried to to actually use them (e.g. no horizontal view, no sub-second time recording, no multi-touch, no Fisher time option). This is the first I have found which is useable. Saying that, I still would like at least an option to highlight which clock is active a little more explicitly.

The text in the app's settings does not show on my Android Ice Cream Sandwich.

Great app, but could you add a few features for Scrabble? In particular negative time (clock continues after zero) and the ability to start either player's clock following a pause. In Scrabble the clock is frequently paused midgame for word challenges and a player can lose a turn, so whose turn it is at resume can vary. I'd also remove the Quit button from the pause/resume menu in this mode. Thanks!

I tried stacks of Android Chess clocks on listed on Google Play and they were all flawed in obvious ways, before I even tried to to actually use them (e.g. no horizontal view, no sub-second time recording, no multi-touch, no Fisher time option). This is the first I have found which is useable. Saying that, I still would like at least an option to highlight which clock is active a little more explicitly.

For some reason I can't name a custom TC. They all revert to "New TC". Also some more layout options would be appreciated. Not a huge fan of to "fancy" color scheme. ;) Fix the naming for 4 (or explain what I'm doing wrong), give me some options for color/layout and this is a 5* [Edit after feedback from dev] No problem. And thanks for quick reply. 5* as promised. This really is the best clock app I've come across, so you really deserve it.

I dont like the too kiddy graphics but still 5 stars for the best functional chess clock out there. Please add louder click sound too because the stock sound is too quiet. Thanks

Believe me I tried them all and some even have great HD graphics but only this App fixes all the limitations of other chessclocks like: 1. Multitouch (very important). 2. Proper split second deduction during fast play. This is the ONLY true chess clock for Android!

This chess app blows the paid apps out of the water. It's functionality is the best I have seen for chess clock apps. I play a lot of chess and it is great to finally find a timer of this quality. The developer thought of everything.
