My Majesty for Android
As previous reviews state, major grammar/logic issues that lead you to wonder what's the point of even trying. I thoroughly enjoy the game style, but when I'm forced to say yes to something I want to say no to, or I say no and I get punished for it happening anyways, it makes me want to uninstall it. I've reached out to the developers a few weeks ago and still haven't heard anything, but after playing this game and getting almost every scenario, I'm pretty sure they aren't native English speakers.
Nice concept, graphics and UI, but the game really wants you to lose so that you have to spend real money to keep playing. Also some choices are completely arbitrary in their outcome, so that no real strategy can exist in this game. Unfair.
You watch the add they twist your arm into seeing, then they dont give you the reward they promised. This, too, after I paid a buck to REMOVE ADDS.
There are some serious grammar issues that need to be fixed as soon as possible. When i say "grammer issues", im not talking about minor details like punctuation or misspellings. Im talking about mistakes that affect the core gameplay. As this game is Entirely text based, it IS extremely important the text is accurate. There are many situations that you cannot understand what choice you are actually making due to poor grammar. This leads to factions responding in unforeseeable ways. As this entire game is about makeing choices, its EXTREMELY important the player has a clear understanding of what the choices are in relation to the situation. These issues prevent me from giving this game 5 stars. Go back through each dialogue option and make sure each choice is clear, concise, and coherent. And while your there, adding several dozen more dialogue options (aka game content) would be greatly appreciated. I know Tigrido has probably already moved on, leaving this game in the dust; but if by chance someone has taken the time to read this, please heed my advice. This game is really good, and fixing this issue would push 'My Majesty' into the "great" category. And it really wouldnt be that expensive or time consuming. One programer (per language option) could probably fix all the text problems in 1 week tops. (Honestly given the simplistic text based gameplay and cause/effect nature of this game it would probably take less than 20 hours. But im not a programmer nor have i any experience with touch based mobile games. And adding new content would definitely take quite a bit longer and maybe some extra hands on deck.) Once these grammar errors are completely fixed i will Gladly give this game 5 stars. Probably spend some money as well just to reward the game company and staff.
I died cuz I ran out of money. I had 1.050.000.
Please make an option to turn off notifications, it's annoying.
Reskin of the game "Dictator", which itself is pretty boring.
Stupid and illogical . Never explains itself
One of the best games I have ever played
Great game
It's fun
Catchy
Love it
Badass
I liked the idea. I liked playing the game. My problem is with the mechanics. Specifically, the taxes. The best way to be successful at this game is the play it infrequently! To just sit there and get rich before taking actions, then taking a few, then sitting there and letting your reserves build back up.
I was about to uninstall this app when I read the reviews. I guess I didn't want to let go of the things I value in order to appease the nobility and priesthood. I initially thought I'd be able to make other choices to keep them happy, thus keeping me in position to serve the people. But then, I had to make subsequent choices making me unpopular with the nobility. I'm giving it another go, though.
I enjoy the gameplay its fun.. Only thing I don't like is even when you pay for no ads you still need to watch ads to earn money to keep your castle afloat. It would make sense to have an allowance given, because honestly just feels like I wasted money.
It's alright, but I REALLY want the option to permanently eliminate one group. Like just not have them be there. I don't like the priesthood and I always end up locking them away but then they're back, and it also costed me money each turn. What?! Why would it cost money to freaking leave them to rot? How about no food? Killing them? I'd rather lose 3 reputation each and get rid of the priesthood than.... This current thing. (Actually I'd rather be able to disable or turn off the group, in the settings or something)
Could have been good but it was reduced to a money machine demanding you to pay to have a chance to survive the unfair plagues and wars it throws at you while you try and make everybody happy. Trust me you will not survive the war. You won't. And if you do there is 50 more wars coming your way. Don't give them money. You can earn gold by simply changing the date on your phone's internal clock. Then you will see what this game is really all about.
"My Majesty" is my favorite go-to game when I'm bored. This game really teaches you that you can't appease everyone but you still have to remain true and do what is best.
If you are looking into Reigns but aren't sure if you want to pay the money, this may be an ok substitute, but the two games are not alike. Your decisions affect the happiness of 6 groups of people in your kingdom, rather than a system based on power, such as in Reigns. There are a few problems with the mechanics of the game, such as how some of the effects of your decisions can seem pretty unbalanced. It can be fun but also frustrating, and your progress will be completely wiped out by natural disasters. This game isn't a waste of time, as it's free and can be fun to play for a while. It is not very story based, unlike Reigns, but that isn't a bad thing. All In all it's worth a try.
I really enjoy this game, but there are a lot of spelling errors. Also, some of the decisions that are made, shouldn't upset so many factions, it doesn't always make sense. Imprisoning people who try to kill the king shouldn't always result in every faction losing points. Same thing with the silly ones, like denying forcing the peasants to eat cake or ice cream when bread gets low, so the nobles can eat it.
This game is a pay-to-win copy of Reigns. Money is lost every turn and there isn't a way to get any unless you watch ads and they don't give you that much. Don't waste time with this one.
Not really that different from the other Dictator games from this developer. It even shares the same criticisms I have about the others, which I've already stated in my other Play Store reviews.
Random events are way OP, 8 golden points of loyalty got burned when a fire striked my game. Still a good game tho.
This game is not how it appears it was a major disappointment I thought it would be more accurate But whenever you put one person in prison everyone hates you and then you have to put them in prison and thats just one thing and there is a lot more
Sorry but it is so BORING. Also, unfair- your decisions shouldn't always affect every caste (niche, group, etc. Idk what to call it) Looked promising but I just didn't like it. :(
I dont get the point of the game although I got army 2 golden X s
Pay to play. Will lose as soon as money ends which goes down every round
I loved Dictator and now this great job make the next one about romans
I like the gameplay and even bought it.. But please make the ads shorter for the extra money for those who bought it. Otherwise it still feel like I haven't buy the game.
Unless you watch ads, you usually run out of money quickly. I wish you started out with more. Besides that, this is an excellent and fun game.
Completely crashed my phone for ages, not installing this again
Finally! Games about court life and nobility. I'd like more! Thank you
This game is a blast!
It's a great game, fairly strategic, although i think it's from Russia
Easy to learn but hard to master Good game
this is an extremely fun game! everyone should download it!
Pretty addicive. Needs more features though.

Concept is great, logic of the consequences for many of your decisions not so much. For example, completing aqueducts w/ stones from the abbey that would give easier access to necessary fresh water for the common ppl shouldn't drop the commoners appreciation by 2, same as the Abbey. Sure, some might not like that it comes from the Abbey but more would be happy with fresh water IMO. Many others made me scratch my head as well
