Hanafuda KOI KOI Free

Thanks for creating this app!!! I learned how to play this card game by one of my patients. He looked really bored so I thought to lift spirits up by learning and playing his favorite game with him. It was quite enjoyable and it entertains him from time to time. From time to time I visit him in an elderly care home and play hanafuda with him...

Seen the game on the anime Summer Wars and wondered if it was a real game. Hard at first until I printed out the rules and how to distribute points. After a while it got easier to play. Just add more music. Definitely recommended!!!

Love it! And it's true that once you understand the rules you could overcome the I.A. but it's not that easy. Who said the I.A. always koi-koi was wrong, never happened to me. It 'shoubu' (show down) at the exact moments to beat you and only koi-koi if it could obviously gain more points. It's fun and challenging, not rigged!

Systematically when I score high, in the next game the A.I. scores high. Hard to believe it's not stacked.

For those that think it's rigged I have a suggestion: get good first or play something more appropriate to your skill level.

I love this card game. The app is really well done, gorgeous and the samurai style adds a cool immersive context. Please, never change the music!

But having to beat ieyasu with a 100 point spread is not even remotely fair. ...

finally a good one! cards are large, animation good, no distracting flashing or bouncing, normal scoring.

It's one of the few handfuda games that doesn't have a massive dealer bias

Zero strategy. Nothing like playing it in the real world. The opponents will always be dealt the best hands, will always know what's coming up next, etc. I enjoyed it in the beginning stages but noticed how repetitive the opponents hands were. **Uninstalling**

At first you're struggling to understand the rules. Once you understand, you're addicted and try to achive 100% win ratio against Nobunaga (which is impossible). Control are simple and straightforward. Background is pretty and wonderful but some background colour overlaping with wining point colour font, making it harder to see. Last, I want to play online but never connect to anyone, so I hope more people should play. Spread the Love Guys.

I had this on my pos phone (iPhone). I loved it then and I still love it now. Play local or online just like before.

If you don't believe it, just keep track of how many times the npc opponent gets the sake cup on its first turn and how many times you are able to get it at all.

Well designed and executed, challenging and fun, even for a total novice like me. Great free game!

This app runs well enough but...there is no tutorial. Not only that I can't change my mind if I don't want to play a card. It sometimes registers a single tap as a double tap but only when I am winning. The final complaint, the computer always had a much better hand and gets better cards from every play. I am tired of it having lost of the you'd cards and getting 20 point rounds when I can barely get 6 and that's pushing it. Uninstalling

Really enjoy it. Ignore reviews saying its rigged. Ive lost only 1 match to A.I so this is not true. Only criticism is A.I will koi koi almost everyhand so its quite easy to reverse or shoubu any points you have and win.

I would give it a 5 if the multi player option worked. My friend and I have invited each other, but can't play together. :(

Only thing I'd change is that it puts cartoon tears on the eyes of your opponents when you win.... Why?!?

First time i know hanafuda is from oz anime, im interested to play one. Hopefully can learn the rule fast..

Simple but addicting

Wonderful app that is quite fun to play. My only complaint about the app itself is that one of the redeal conditionsisn't included. I have had 2 games where an entire suit of cards is dealt to the table. This should cause a redeal but it does not. Now i just wish more people were playing online.

Well, Summer Wars got me to try this but now I can't put it down.

Sorry for one star review. I downloaded the app but for some reason can't even get past the home screen. Where I am prompted to touch the screen, I touch and nothing happens. Tried restarting the app and the same thing happened. A shame because I read that this was a good online version of the game!

I had never heard of this game until I got a DS game with lots of different card games. It was great but this one is even better! Love it!

Summer wars was a awsome movie so I wanted to have hanafuda and this is the only one it is amazing

It would be Awesome if it would stop freezing after a game or so.

The last version has totally ruined this game. It used to be single tap to select a card and is now double tap. the game is also much slower. No longer my favorite app.

Easy to control but AI so weak.

Great app, good AI opponents. Wish I could find someone to challenge online
