Tactic Trainer - chess puzzle

Really helped improve my chess. There a small number of puzzles that don't make sense, but my ELO in standard games has gone up 200 after using this for a few weeks.

I bought this game and play it a lot. Thank you! Two small things... 1. Often the "correct" move is suicide 2. Your recent pieces are too ornate

It's taught me a lot about chess. It's addictive. And it's full of ads. And it crashes a lot. When I first downloaded it it didn't have the ads in between every board. They are really irritating.

An amazing tactical resource for the aspiring chess player. Many of the puzzles often put the player in very uncomfortable positions unlike most other trainers. I find this stressful but highly beneficial. The board and pieces are highly customizable and I never get tired of this app.

Generally the puzzles are good. But every now and then, a solution makes no sense or there is a better solution than what is presented.

No explanation without paying also has ads, but helpful for me to learn to think creatively.

Well, suggestions of possible variations. And Tactics by category might be more helpful.

Fun tactics, I think my rating was bumped too high by easy tactics leading to a high rating, but I'm otherwise very happy

How do you reset and start again from the beginning

Terrible. And slow. Also, advertising pop ups every two puzzles. Just an awful waste to even download it.

This app didn't make a good first impression on me when the first puzzle it showed me had an incorrect solution. Embarrassing!

It's a bit frustrating, you climb very slowly and fall very fast. But it's just a game after all.

I can't figure out the controls.very confusing to this old man. I can't even tell who's move it is or what side I'm playing. I liked chessmaster way better back in the old days.

The developers have done a good job improving this over time. It's a good app with interesting problems. Buying the full version gives analysis for most puzzles.

Very good app, I've been using it for a couple years now. It has defiantly raised my ELO at least 500 points.

Nice puzzles. However, with Android 8.0, the app broke. The pieces were replaced with characters after the Android update.

I have come up with far better solutions than his app does. You only have one shot at a solution, not conducive to learning from mistakes

Some of the puzzles makes no sense. But some are really good... Please remove those puzzles you uploaded on the server just for testing. They are breaking my streaks and reducing my elo

I love chess puzzles. But some apps give you scenarios that you would never be likely to come across. This app gives you very realistic ones. Not only that, but the puzzles are not just 2-3 move checkmates, they offer interesting middle game puzzles as well. Finally, the rating system keeps me on my toes and forces me to stay sharp. You can save your favorite puzzles as well.

This app is very good and I am addicted to it for almost 3.5 yrs, helped improved my game a lot. I share the toughest tactics with my friend groups to help understand their thinking process. It nicely segregates tactics according to the strength of the player. I loved this app to the core of my heart. Though there are many tactics apps on play store...this stands the best among all. Keep adding more and more puzzles. Way to go "Tactic Trainer" team

I admire this game's consistency. The ads are like the puzzles; the more you play, the more frustrating they get. I also like how grounded in real life values this game is. You earn a few points if you do something right, but you'd be crucified if you made a mistake. As clever as this is, I wanted a game which is different from daily life and which I can immerse myself into. If I wanted an allegory for the existential horror of our lives, I would've looked elsewhere. GG tho, no h8 m8.

For a second I thought you'd messed up the piece sets again:) But Swiping the board in the options selects my favourite. Neat trick but tell folks! excellent puzzle set. Some very tricky puzzles. addictive!

Okay. I stopped playing this trainer for several reasons. I can see that you still haven't addressed this. In fact it's gotten worse. One misstep and the puzzle is completely failed. No hints, no suggestions. If I want to analyze my mistake I have to pay. Also, now, it's super slow to respond. I wish I could keep it but I don't have time for a trainer that doesn't help me learn. Delete.

I stopped using tactic trainer because you lose all your history when changing devices, this is annoying, hoping some day you fix it, after that 10 stars.

Okay but why do I need to confirm every move? A bit annoying.
