Seems like a good app with Analyze features, but: The Pawn/Knight ending puzzles are a waste of time for normal players; weird/inadequate/too hard problems, sometimes with bad solution (gives you only one solution of many others equal good or better alternatives). I don't like the Analyze feature (insufficient and clumsy, only 1 analyze-line, no back-arrows), and you can't upload PGN's. History and Favorites are lost when you change device, although the Leaderboard/Achievements are kept. I would have given only one star if I could find another realy good app which had all the same training categories!

I used this app for ten minutes and then promptly uninstalled it. The solutions it has are useless. They take winning positions and bring them to a draw, unless there's some new, forced checkmate with a king and knight that I, nor stockfish, have heard about. It also only accepts one line despite there being several that will yield the same result.

Great concept but filled with wrong solutions. Check your solutions using a modern engine (like stockfish 5, which is free) using more than few seconds per problem so the less obvious draws are avoided. Human checking of the lines is still required.

The solutions are not even complete! And it does not allow you enough chances to practice. And many of the problems are just novelty trick problems, as if the programmer took them from some trick book, not a book of endgames.

Recommend both purchases for those looking for endgame puzzles to solve. Plenty of apps for tactics but for endgame? This one will do the job.

DO NOT DOWNLOAD!!!! The person who devised these chess puzzles is clearly not a chess player. How can winning be forcing a stalemate where the opponent cannot move! And all this dancing backwards and forwards. Pathetic

Purchased both options - a total rip-off! Poor selection of positions, poor solutions and poor App. It doesn't tell you who plays and what is the result, and gives no feedback except for some numbers ... No functionality, no choice of engines, it sucks big time.

There are legitimate concerns with the app. There is a general lack of follow through on some puzzles and this lends a sense of question about where some are headed once declared beaten. If you fail a puzzle it isn't clear as to why or what would have been a better idea. Not a problem for me is that some problems lead to a winning position while others draw, sometimes a draw is the best you can get out of a situation and it's a good idea to acknowledge those. It gives you work with King & Pawn endings.

In many cases there are other correct solutions then yours, but you still give negative points for that solutions - even there are also correct :-(

This app is outstanding when both in app purchases (very cheap) are made. Good features, easy to use. Analysis feature a strong point.

There are consistent inaccuracies, I've taken screen shots & sent emails to the programmer but I've gotten no replies or seen any improved updates. Useless app if you take chess seriously or maybe even worse than useless because it will mislead you. You'll learn endgame positions thinking they are to win but at best they are stalemate. If these were to be fixed it would be a great app.

Solutions are all wrong. Be proactive and check the answers yourself or you will get nothing from this app.

The concept is great, but the moves are the stupidest move anyone could make.. Its a useless app, it trains you to lose/drag a game u can finish easily..

Nice app. My only complaint is that if there are multiple solutions, the app only accepts one of them, even if alternative solutions are equally good. Then it turns into a frustrating guessing game.

This is of no help, it teaches you nothing! It should be zero stars!

It has awesome puzzles

It does not show you solutions if you fail to solve the puzzle. A lot of the puzzles are suspect, it does not choose positions where on solution is obviously better than the next, rather it choses positions where one side can win easily many ways but one way may achieve a win one move faster. Did not meet my expectations, I uninstalled it soon after download. And I am not some patzer who can't understand the position and disagrees with the answer. I have around an 1900 elo and have used many sites/apps for years. You will not learn much from this app, it will simply affirm what you do and don't know.
