About HyperBowl

Be the ball! Swipe the screen to push the bowling ball around richly imaginative fantasy worlds, including the six original lanes and several new ones. Enjoy the scenery, but remember to head for the pins!

Play 1-4 players in the original Arcade Mode or quick-play in single-player mode. Customize the ball with your own photos, and share video replays of your game!

Tips:

Longer swipes provide more power.
Quit any other running 3d apps that may be impeding performance.
If you have trouble with the close button on UnityAds, try the back button on your device.

SUCKS

I've been a fan of this game since it was in Microsoft Plus! for Windows XP in 2001. I still have XP in 2017 and I still have this game installed with it. I wrote a bad review 2 years ago, but after waiting a couple of years for updates, it has improved tremendously beyond my expectations and this review has been updated as well. I wish the developer over a million downloads!

The app has improved so much over the years, a great way to bring back childhood memories, developer listens to ideas and added in a power slider. Even added their own maps. The only thing they could improve on is a small visual annoyance where the ball seems to have a limit on how fast it spins so even when going really fast, the ball itself looks to be spinning slower than it should. Only a minor thing though and doesn't effect gameplay. Good job!

Great port of a classic. Is it possible to use a trackball or mouse when connected by USB?

Great port! Reminds me of when I was younger and played on Windows XP. Thank you so much for porting this. Now only if there was labyrinth plus to go alongside... ;)

The game does have some falts but over all I do think it's worth at least one play through. The ball can glitch out at points and the stage select does have some problems but this app brought me back fond memories of me playing this game with my brother on Windows xp. I just wish that the game was less glitchy.

The good : decent port although not big feat for a unity game. Custom ball textures and improved water graphics. Acceptable ads. The bad : Carried over flaws from PC. You have to set up the game all over again after winning or quitting. The alley selection menu has a useless countdown that just kicks you out of game when it runs out so you have to set up the game again. Roll head-on into Tokyo's cars and fly crazily in (actually kinda humorous) directions sending you to areas you aren't supposed to be in.

In this game, your swift finger movements power the ball down the lengthy alley. A great game for the elderly who need arthritis therapy. A great game for younger folks who will enjoy it's eerie outer space sounds and marvelous alley variations. When I first started playing, the ball weighed about 65 pounds. But recent, impressive updates have changed this product to a fun, smooth running, easy to use yet challenging game. The pin counter is now more accurate and getting spares and strikes is a lot easier than before. A screenshot from this game makes a great wallpaper for your device. I have increased my rating from 3 to 5 big stars. This game scores like regular bowling but some alleys feature hazards. My Google Play Games handle was not accepted in the single player mode. I doubt that Google Play Games was connected to the game. Full page video ads.

HyperBowl for Android is a port of the original Arcade and Windows games. Now, this is the first time I played HyperBowl ever since I saw a trailer for the Windows version back during the XP days, but this port does capture the original game very well. There's all the original levels and the look and feel of the game is exactly the same. Rolling the ball by swiping the screen is a good conversion of the control scheme, and there are options to change roll strength to make things easier or harder. Also, there are some bonus levels exclusive to the port which adds more variety with new styles. Overall, this is a solid port that plays like the original yet adds some new bonus content to keep things fresh.

This brings back many memories of my childhood. I had this for my own computer when I was a kid and it was my first game on the PC. Playing this feels like I'm playing that same game. Great job. And thank you for making this happen.
