Great learning game, my 4y old already start repeating what monster speaks. However one thing I'm still couldn't find that how to keep login saved. My kid exit the game but cannot start without me, i wanted to use his login so switching device keep him on same page.

I love the premise of the game and my kiddo loves the game overall. The game keeps crashing in odd places and my daughter is missing out on some of the lessons. The screen just goes black without any warning. I'm downloading an update for it now so hopefully that bug will be fixed. Otherwise, it's not worth the $5 I paid for it.

I wanted a game app to help my son practice reading skills. There are so few of them available for Android. When I came across this app, at first I was leery of the price and the fact that it is British, but my son LOVES it and it has exactly what he needs for his reading skills.

I love this concept I'm really excited that my daughter's school is using it but since the main thing is reading the audio really needs to be improved. th and zz somehow sound exactly identical on here and it is extremely frustrating for my kindergartener

T70%
by T####:

The concept is great -- that's the plus side. Two huge minuses so far: it is very difficult to hear letter sounds, especially "m" and "n", albeit the volume is all the way up and the speech and the music are clearly audible. A much bigger problem is controls. On the flower game, we tried clicking on the arrow with the correct letter, clicking on the right road, dragging the monster to the right road -- nothing seems to work; the monster sporadically goes to the right place, but that's only about 30% of the time. Consequently, the frustration level is up and learning results are down. Please fix this. Thank you!

LOVE this game! I've recommended my friends and the kids in my class get it and downloaded it into all my classroom ipads. Sometimes some of the sounds are a bit hard to hear in the flower game (too quiet) but mostly ok in a very quiet environment with the sound right up

This game has had my sons absolutely absorbed. They are at different stages in learning to read, one confident with phonics and reading basic sentences, the other is just learning phonic sounds and struggling to blend words. I feel that this app supports both levels of learning and am already seeing improvements!

Lovely and educational. My daughter loves it!! She is 7 and has struggled with reading, but using this seems to be helping. I love how interactive it is and it really keeps her attention, which is amazing.

Fantastic game. We use it in conjunction with the website so that my daughter can print certificates but much prefer to play on the tablet as it suits her to concentrate on the game itself rather than on using the mouse. Some sounds are difficult for me to hear but my daughter doesn't seem to struggle. She found it quite difficult when first downloaded but recently came back to have another try and was obviously more developmentally ready as she's whizzing through, she loves it. It's helped improve her reading and she now has more confidence figuring out how to write words too. For the price of a magazine it's money well spent. There is one tiny issue and that's that on a lot of the games it always follows the same pattern - pick the sound you're learning, pick a different sound then pick the sound you're learning again. My daughter picked up on this and immediately picks the correct answer without listening for the sound.

My kids are 5 and 8 (8yo has autism) they absolutely love this game as they can design the alien themselves and find the games suitable for their needs. My 5 yo has come on leaps and bounds with it and my 8 yo is doing great with his sounds and making words

I love this app which i got for my autistic son who has a severe speech delay. Getting him to sit and read at home isn't easy, so this is perfect. Not only is he reading without realizing but he is also having to listen and differentiate between the sounds which is something his speech and language therapist is working on. Some of the sounds a bit too quiet and i think the "th" sound sounds strange. A part from that the only other thing which we cant work out is how to put the cookie down if he picks up the wrong one. Although he thinks its funny to feed the monster the wrong one anyway. YUK! Lol

My 6 year old has struggled with learning to read and this app has given her a new found want to learn. My 4 year old is loving this as well and they compete with each other on who's farther along in the "game.

My daughter came home from school about 2 weeks ago with some log in details. Since we downloaded the app it's the first thing she asks for when she has screen time over Netflix! A little laggy in places but a fantastic resource. She's got a long way through it but the teacher said as she's using the app she doesn't get alerts when she's completed an island etc. I tried opening it on the browser on my phone and iPad so she could use it to and the teacher get a notification but neither support flash player :-( will have to fire up the old laptop. I set up my own account so I could add my preschooler too and she's just as big a fan. Having read other reviews I agree about the log in issue, if on my phone and she touches a button to show other things by accident it needs the log in every time, I can now recite it in my sleep! Would be useful to be able to stay logged in on the app and have to sign out and in again if another child wants to play. Overall it's great and anything that is encouraging my children to read gets a thumbs up from me.
