■あらすじ

夏を迎えた多紙町に、異形の神たちが大量に出現した。
その原因は、異形の神を制御していた土地神であるしろの力が、突如として失われたためであった。
柾木たちはしろの力を取り戻す方法を探すと同時に、町に被害をもたらし始めた異形の神を退治する自警団を組織する。

神の力を失ったしろは、事態に責任を感じるが、何もできないことに落ちこんでゆく。
柾木は落ちこんでいるしろを自分の家に招き、しばらくの間一緒に暮らすことを提案する。
しろが立ち直りつつあったその時、しろに従っていたはずのシロウが異形の神たちを率いて反逆を始める。
