Mahjong Pocket Genius is a version of Mahjong Solitaire, a layered, tile based board game where the objective is to remove all tiles from the board by matching pairs.
Pocket Genius has 100+ challenging layouts including 'halves' games and '3-tile match' games (very difficult!). It has high-definition graphics and a host of exciting features and game modes, including blocking wall tiles and pseudo random layouts.
The App has been designed to provide an appealing but challenging experience for the user. The user interface is clean and easy to use and, with a choice of tile-sets and the inclusion of high resolution backgrounds, the game is visually stunning.
Game Mode options are:
Standard – normal game, high scores are maintained by board layout.
Race – race against time to get on the high score board.
Chase – tiles reappear on the board as the game progresses.
Memory – match hidden tiles, seriously difficult..!
It is an excellent game for all age groups, providing stimulation and a mental challenge.

First I bought the Pro version from this developer that is good but I was looking for Mahjong in portrait mode. This app does it well. Very good support.

I have both the regular version and the "Pocket" version of this game. Both have excellent graphics and game play. For smaller screens the pocket version is easier to see but mostly its a question of if you prefer playing in landscape or portrait view. The developer is outstanding also. The one time I had an issue I sent an e-mail and got a reply right away and the problem was fixed within 2 days. That's worth more than 5 stars to me

The game is pretty blah blah blah, however, I am trying to find a mahjong game that does not somehow indicate which tiles can be played. Let ME play the game!
