There was an ad after every question and it was really annoying. Oh, and "understand" IS a synonym for "apprehend". APPREHEND (verb): 1. to take into custody; arrest by legal warrant or authority 2. grasp the meaning of; understand, especially intuitively

On my very first attempt, this vocabulary builder tried to tell me that 'apprehend' is a synonym of 'understand'. Unbelievable!

The ads were almost tolerable but the errors are not even remotely excusable. Discern means disapprove?? And in another review on here the creator tried to justify the definition of apprehend as "understand". Um no. Nice try.
