The Driftlands are a gothic and frightening place at the best of times….And this is not the best of times. The Aurora stone has been stolen from the great Lighthouse by an unknown and shadowy creature. Without its light, the Driftlands will be destroyed.
Enter Oscura, our highly unlikely hero. He is the keeper of the lighthouse, and possesses a mysterious eternally glowing hand. Oscura must travel the lands and gather the shards to restore the Aurora stone - before it is too late and darkness befalls on the whole universe.

Completing levels is one thing, collecting all four stars for each level is quite another. Replay levels to perfect your run and beat the goals for time, collecting cogs, shards and getting through without dying.

Everything is great except the controls. They are set up so uncomfortably for how you hold a phone and half of the time they don't even work when you press them. The game would actually be fun if I weren't frustrated 99% of the time because the controls are amateur at best.

It's a fantastic game. Although I'm stuck now on level 12 and some levels are a really challenging, it's great gameplay. Graphics are really good, controls are smooth. I wish the other Oscura game was available.

The game reminds me of Limbo artistically, which is why I bought it. A mistake. Often, you die by a trap or monster just off screen and the controls are not responsive enough to allow you to dodge it. Basically, die 10 times in a level to figure out all the threats, then complete it with a less than stellar rating. I've played difficult games I loved, this one is just too sloppy to be a paid app.

This is a fun little game. I like the animation and game style, there are fun little changes in art as you move along. I feel like the game mechanics and story could have used a bit more zest to play on the whole 'dark world and your light' theme; the only special power you have is time based? Why? Other than that, hiding the controls to help the game be a bit more submersive. I've grown fond of Google play games integration and syncing. If this game took it just one more step further, could be 5 stars.

Quite disappointed with the amount of gameplay, considering the price we have to pay for the game. For about $4, I finished it in less than an hour. Concept of game is interesting, but I feel the developer did not make full use of the concept of 'limited visibility'; in the end it is just like any other typical platformer. Also, the special ability is not developed up to expection; you can complete the 90% of the game without using it, 100% even if you have fast reflexes.
