Ancestor for Android
Anscestor is a prime example of mobile gaming done right. The game breaks the norm in endless runners. The music is great and the art style is pretty. The gameplay is fast paced and challenging at higher scores. I feel like there could be a bit more in the background, it felt a little too flat with nothing on the ground at times. Aside from that, I highly recommend this game!
I like it a lot! Concept is awesome, as it requires a good idea, quick skills and makes you think. Only bugger is the fact that you have to start over every time.... What would also be nice would be a deeper back story; while its fun to imagine the mysterious traveler and Lux's journey ourselves, I feel this has a lot of potential to become even more developed
Ancestor features lovely visuals, excellent music, good sound effects and simple but challenging gameplay. However this game is made immensely difficult by the lack of checkpoints or level selection. Developers: PLEASE add checkpoints! (Or a level select option) I really want to experience more of your game!
This game is like a mind-blow. For only having a few downloads, I feel it is a lot better than any other game I have ever played. It has great pixelated graphics and it doesn't cease to entertain. I love how the puzzles get progressively harder and the bosses are just great. The items are a little expensive though, but that's what makes me want to play more! I want to unlock a character, so it will make me play a lot more than I should. Big thanks to the developers for making this game!
I love this game! The enviroment, the serious mood, and the gameplay is fresh enough that no other game comes to mind while playing this one. The only detail is the bugs, i AM playing on a moto g (which by now can be considered ancient) but sometimes the framerate drops and my taps don't register, causing me to die often. Anyway, my compliments to the developer! Keep up the good work! You should be peoud of it!
Beautiful but no depth. Cosmetics for cash. Tap on time or take damage/die. And how much you experience is strongly tied to your reflexes. Not freemium, your money is for cosmetics you can farm in-game money for (I am not good and get 1k for every 3 runs).
This game was a lot of fun with interesting graphics and concept. The only things that could make it better is some story and meaningful progression of levels. Possibly a level up system not based on buying new characters would make me want to invest more time into it.
Theres just one trap that appears after defeating the first boss, the one where a cube drops and flings you up, that if you dont see the cube soon enough youre just guaranteed to fail. I can see it coming after a pitfall, but when I see the cube Im already too far forward to survive it. This happens too often, I always dread this trap and I dont make it to the second boss.
Love the idea but why does it lag? One second im trying to do one of the tower puzzles just as it comes into view and the next it jumps right in front of me with no time to react and i die. Not fair cant play it until lag is gone.
I love the retro feel and style of the game, kind of reminds me of hyper light drifter. My only complaint is that sometime the camera moves up and I can't see the puzzle specifically the one with the moving dot this has only happened once however.
The visuals are amazing and the puzzles are easy enough that it's fun. ^^ The only two complaints I have is the fact that the upgrades cost so much, and if you would be able to use checkpoints so we don't have to beat the Hive Mind fifty times all over again. Thank you. ^^
Great design. Gives you a tutorial that you can replay if you forget a gimmick. And loads of customization. I have only one complaint. Can you lower the prices in the shop? If not, I don't mind the way it is. Also a suggestion. If you could possibly add some kind of story to the game. Like if you reach a certain checkpoint it gives you a short cut scene. I would really appreciate it!
A brilliant game! One of the most beautiful games as well. I would highly recommend it. However one problem that may just be part of game design: all the cosmetics are too expensive, I don't want to play it 100 times or pay to get a thing that won't even help me. Other that That, top quality game!
Beautiful artwork, every run is stunning. Good sense of an environment with a story behind it. One complaint is that sometimes the timing approaching the weighted hinges is generated in bad structure, making it almost impossible to make the weight drop in time. Can kill an otherwise fast-paced and edge of the seat run. Would definitely still recommend this game to anyone! Gorgeous.
Lovely game, amazing neo-retro look, fun gameplay. Would love to see levels, a map and story, as the game is a bit repetitive as it is now, and it's a bit redundant to start again from the beginning every time you die. No lag on my S7 Edge.
Not even the word can sufficiently describe this game to you. The backgrounds are so grand and breathtaking despite its pixelated medium. The music is also very exciting. The gameplay itself, all the puzzles and such, is so fun and satisfying. My only complaint is that the Watch Tower boss is a bit hard to beat-many a time I was just lucky to be shooting at the right direction. Oh also, putting a sentry (the ones that change position after shooting at them once) right after a trampoline is impossible to kil
Is this the first game you guys have put out? The graphics and art style are amazing, and the gameplay is pretty good. Only thing that's lacking is the music. Great work!
Don't want to leave a bad review but it says "Stopped Responding" once it loads the daily bonus screen. Have a OnePlus X btw and am able to run the most graphic intensive games out there. Pls fix.
Didn't expect to like this simple game. Only gripe is that I die sometimes at the double pulses - the second pulse not seen making me unable to complete the flooring. Also the game hung at Eden's Guard. App hung when I tapped the screen multiple times very quickly too.
I don't normally rate games, but I REALLY like this one. The art, the music, the gameplay, I can't find one negative thing to say about it. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a simple but challenging game with atmosphere.
Awesome art and concept! Could use a level skipper of some sort because I cleared the first 2 waves multiple times but have been trouble with the later waves, and it takes forever getting through the first 2 waves to get to a wave I need practice on. :(
Shooting is pain in the ass.. it seems i never hit the right hitbox. 50/50 hit or miss. Fire pillar, mine, and even the big ass pillar. The pixel art is the best part of this game tho.. wish u luck <3

I can't figure out how to beat the hive mind boss. There is no way to blow up all the hexagons before the bees attack you, and you can't kill all the bees before they attack you. Please help whoever has beaten this boss.
Great art style and gameplay but I'm a bit disappointed. I just bought a red thing for 5k and it's completely useless. Please add different bonuses to each item and checkpoint after bosses.
Like other's have said, this is a fresh new perspective on infinite runners. The difficulty ramps up quickly, but it becomes manageable after a couple run-throughs. To the people complaining about "no tutorial for bosses, bosses are super hard"... Yeah, that's the point of a game. Super Mario World didn't come with a tutorial; you had to figure it out. And these bosses, while difficult to overcome at first, are not impossible: they just require skill. No graphics problems on a 3rd gen Moto G.
The game itself is wonderfully engaging and a refreshing endless runner. Minor stutters can make or break a run, though. Wish there was a bit of exposed story, perhaps through bios about bosses after beating them or item descriptions.
This is a really fun and well-designed little game. It's really easy to play again and again and they get the balance just right in making you think you can get just that tiny bit further with one more play. It looks terrific, sounds terrific, FEELS good to play. The only thing is I really wish there was a bit more meta-game. You can earn points to unlock new skins but as far as I can tell they are purely cosmetic. Unlockable gameplay features or items would add a lot of replayability.
This game is perfect, there are some bugs, sometimes I'll glitch forward and then I hit something and die. Sometimes on the falling out where you have to draw a line, I'll land on the line and it'll launch me too far and I'll land in the lava. Other than occasionally glitching, this game is perfect. If you add anything, some new backgrounds and music would be cool. Sometimes I can't draw a line and it'll just shoot a projectile, also if we can tap the blocks faster for matching that would help.
The art is beautiful, the tutorial is well made, and the gameplay is solid. It's a very "small" game. What I mean is, it only has one more that you play over and over, but honestly, I really like it. I can see it turning some people off due to how repetitive, but it's like an In-n-Out menu: not many choices, but everythings made to prefection. Also, you can get rid of the involuntary ads by purchasing anything in the store for $0.99. Good devs. Good devs.

I enjoyed playing this game. It has nice graphics and good gameplay elements. It has puzzle elements while it relies on ur reflexes as well. Good combination. But one thing I didn't like. There is no way to continue my journey from the point I died. If I made a mistake, I will have start from the beginning. Is there any way to fix it?

Game launches fine. Excellent title. A brilliantly crafted runner that doesn't automatically assume you're an idiot with no hope in life. I'd love for you guys to apply yourselves to a real effort though. Runners are light mobile thinking games. I shiver at what you could do with player controlled gameplay and a story. Platformer RPG ala Metroid perhaps?
Not every day you see a game on mobile that explores an interesting new concept and also fully delivers on it. Visual style is great and the dificulty curve is challenging. There are some performance issues that may lead to cheap deaths on my device (galaxy note 3).

I love the feel of this game. Brings constant challenge and incorporates a good thrill and suspense. My only issue is that I believe bosses should be randomized and not fixed order. I got tired of facing hive mind repeatedly just to continue this mystical journey. Other then that I'm really happy with what this game brought to the table.
Really fun slick and fast gameplay. I love the free gMe option and the cheap in game store is a great and fun i dea. Perfect monitization i.m.o , beautiful graphics and i liked how clever it is. I wish there where checkpoints. I started losing more after a while because i was frustraited of starting over and over again while i realy wanted to tackle new obstacles yet had the same ones all of the time.
I love this. Let me first say that. The art is nice, it makes something very pretty out of a sort of post-apocalyptic world. The action is fun, fast, full of explosions. But dear God, please give us checkpoints. I really want to see everything the game has to offer, but I can't because its back to the beginning, every time.

I absolutely love this game! Simple and smooth controls combine with stunning graphics to create a stellar, elegant, and near flawless game. The only issue I have with it is that the in-game items such as cloaks, projectiles, and followers are merely cosmetic. There is no way to upgrade your character, which would truly elevate this game to perfection. I have played many a round, but struggle every now and then because I simply don't survive. If you can implement upgrades in some way, shape, or form, I would immediately change my rating to five stars. As it is, I wish I could give it 4.5 stars, considering that this is just one issue. Highly recommend this amazing creation to anyone!
