SolForge for Android
Longtime Solforger. Absolutely love the game mechanic, very much unlike so many Magic derivatives out there. Currently however, game's being plagued by 2 major things: Client, especially Android, is unstable, very prone to self-crashing, and there are bugs on saving decks and starting an ended game; and heroic/legendary cards are too obviously better than the less rare cards, and it makes barrier of entry too high. At least the daily rewards are quite generous.
This game sucks! I was only on the 2nd tutorial and I can't even read the cards. I did it exactly how it said in the game and nothing shows up to show me what they do. Not good at all
I'm completely over this game. It CONSTANTLY FREEZES mid game making you have to exit and re-enter the app, the games draw mechanics are flawed - how can you go the entire lvl 3 without picking up a lvl 3 card while your opponent drops 2 lvl 3s per turn. HOW???? It makes it unplayable and frustrating. I'm sick of playing my ass off strategy wise only to come undone through sheer 'bad luck of the draw'. Seems to have gotten worse with each update.
I tried to get into it, but the game refuses to let you fight new people. As I am new, why does it only match me against legandarys? Since there is no way a newcomer can win, how do I advance? Why would I spend money not knowing if I'll even like the game.
I've played for a long time and after a short break I still see that the developers care for the game and it's an great game for anyone who enjoys strategy or card games.
The Android version is so buggy that it is unplayable which is a shame because it is a really great game.
Easy to learn, hard to master, and very enjoyable.
Excellent!
There is so much deck customization, crazy amounts of build types. I have over 12decks and I'm always looking at new ways to play! - On the critical side, there have been bugs that they have had to work on, cards don't always pop up under long holds for info, a double tap to see all forms of a card during battle could be nice. No scroll bar for cycling through decks if you have more than the amount visible in the box (8). Love this game, would like to see more options for silver purchases. You used to be able to buy event tickets with it. Also gold purchase tab does not pull up ever... I'm on an ellipsis 8 tablet.
Strategy card game. Very customizable and super fun. I think a bit unfair for new users who don't have the power cards. But a much underlooked alternative to other strategy card games. Takes a bit to figure out all the terms and powers etc and the app itself has a few bugs but I highly recommend
Cards don't have mana/energy requirement, instead you play 2 cards each turn for free, then when they die they are shuffled back into yr deck and become more powerful when you redraw them. Bit dull.
The game is probably great on a PC. Still buggy on Android. Small company trying to make it so I cut them a lot of slack. Interesting mechanics as far as card games go.
This the best card battle game ive ever tried. I played for 6 months before I spent $ and only because i wanted to not because I had to. I play with my best friend everyday . There is plenty of challenge but easy enough to pick up quickly. The longer you play the more rewards you get. Thanks Stone Blade Entertainment!
Ok I really like the ideas and the games own mechanics, I just wish the graphics didn't drop, the game would explain itself better and it had a lot better balancing.
The app runs great always been a great app. The people that are having problems need to upgrade their phones.
The game will not even load after the last update. On Galaxy S5 active. Side note, please make some sort of notification system to let players when maintenance will occur and for how long.
It lags super bad even in ai matches
Good game with less than stellar UI
Never received confirmation email
Great another update that doesn't load the game im shore ill enjoy the game in a month when you all fix the bugs i use a galaxy s5 i know its old now but its not that old
It is the same as the PC client. Did not even do the bare minimum of adjusting the size of buttons and text. The home section uses a large portion of available screen to display a picture that doesn't describe the news it links to. Update seems to fail to improve the responsiveness of the app which was the largest factor dragging down its usability.
Game lags horribly even on lowest display setting. Poor matching system for PVP. New players matched up with users who have legendary or heroic stats cards. Fun game but the GUI and game mechanics need work.
I took a six month break from this due to boredom but it was a solid app with a decent interface. However now it's sluggish at best. In game if I long press on a card it doesn't show me the right card so if I haven't memorized them I have no idea what I'm playing. Games are laggy and not fluid. The timer runs out without even showing on screen. Seems to have taken a few steps back from where it was when I stopped playing.
23/7/16: v7.0.3 An improvement on previous versions however the CX designer should be shot. You should be able to play the game with one finger (i.e. via taps and drags) but now, to see the details about a card, you have to press-and-hold on the card to see partial info, then WITH ANOTHER FINGER you click on the Show More button. Why not just allow card taps? For a new player trying to learn the cards this is a really poor experience. Also, if you are in the Store and you press the Back button, you should go back to main menu ... not exit the game. After nearly 4 years I think it's time to give up. 27 Apr 16: Gave it a 1 year break and just tried to install v6. 0.5.0. There's no indication that after the initial 30MB load, that upon launching the game there is another massive asset load. Blew my data limit. Furthermore the download was interrupted and it couldn't recover. Had to uninstall and will have to try to reinstall again when I have wifi. I don't think that I will bother. I was an original Kickstarter pledger for this game. I really regret it. --- 4 Mar 15: Unplayable after v5.0.8.0 update. Have tried full uninstall and reinstall. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014.
Game is super fun. Still has card viewing issues on mobile though.
Cant even register

For everyone that is "going to hearthstone", please do. Now for some constructive criticism, please put back 1v1 on the same device, my buddy likes to play but doesn't have time to collect the cards, so we use mine to see the different strategies/cards. Also, please put back the random option for deck selection. Lastly, bring back the slide function for abilities (like copying a plant creature type) and to also discard cards (currently have to use 2 hands to discard a card). Great job, awesome game!
Great update! The game works on Android! I haven't had to restart the client yet! Yay! I would love an option to disable expand art on click/touch since I don't want that feature and it makes drafting a LOT longer. Great work getting this working so quickly after the initial release.
Have you seen the highest IAP price, that should give you an idea how much you'll have to pay if you don't want to be crushed in every match. If you've never play this before, really don't you'll have more fun playing the old MTG game or hearth. Bugs? cards getting stuck on the screen, hiding the oppositions attack, low and glitchy fps, matches getting stuck, your phone will get hot enough to cook an egg though it'll drain your battery before finishing the job.
The new update is burning up my phone. Flashy animations are laggy, distracting and no way to turn them off. Change in reward system makes it near impossible to grow your deck anymore for the casual player.
Campaign is great. AI starts cheating after a few levels but its challenging so its ok. But once you want to play versus a player instead of computer, you have to buy lots of premium. By lots of premium i mean over $100 at least that you can compete against others... If you really have money to spare, play mtgo at pc. If you dont want to spend that much yet you still want to play, try forge on any playform.
I loved this game ... Now, not so much. I can't play offline on my work break. It's nice and pretty now and I do like how it works. Just slow offline play for 5 stars.
Not properly optimized or designed for mobile/tab. Doesn't keep the phone on as well which is very frustrating. The second tutorial does a very bad job of teaching you how to win.
Great another update that doesn't load the game im shore ill enjoy the game in a month when you all fix the bugs i use a galaxy s5 i know its old now but its not that old
The new update removed all incentive to play anything but online matches. The single player mode has no more random matches and really no reason to play. I played every day before the update, now I'm uninstalling it.
I went to open an account and says email already in use so i created a whole new email just for yhe game and that also says its already in use... how can this be its a brand new email account this sucks
Add puppet cards if the monster is destroyed so is the monster that destroyed it,puppet cards offer Regen and Attack but at the cost of starting with no Atck and 3-4Health points
It works now on steam and android, so things are looking up. Still running in free mode though.... so nothing you play now means anything.

Love this game! Best ccg for me. More depth than any other I've played. I don't typically write reviews, but this game deserves it. I see alot of people give bad ratings due to match making higher ranked opponents, but I find it to be fun and challenging. Not another mindless tap-here-to-win. It has a steep learning curve, and you WILL lose ALOT! But once you get the hang of it, you can actually make a cheap deck that will hold up well against league's. You do not have to pay to win, in fact, a correctly set up common and rare deck should be enough to get you started to collect daily rewards and drafts. There are so much variations in deck building that after 100+ hours in game, I still haven't tried all of them. Best ccg in my opinion.
