2048 IDLE: More than Clicker for Android
It's really not that good. Instead of watching ads for in-game currency, they make you click on the ad to get your reward. I will be given a reward for this review but they misspelled "take" in the sentence which is super dumb.
Love 2048 but get over the repeat gaming? This version adds upgrades. The idle aspect is not really there but the level up system will keep you coming back for more.
We should be able to use the hints to save ourselves from "wasted". Especially once the board becomes filled and we have all of our hints charged. But once wasted happens you can't use any of them.
The animation is not almost non-existent. The idle byte/s system is unnecessary if not pointless. I have seen a much better 2048 reboot with animated blocks which make you giggle as you play -- thus motivate you to make higher block. This game fails at this fun factor.
SEIZURE WARNING! This game opened up with rapid flashing of black and white. Then froze on the next screen.
A bit laggy, but probably just my phone. Otherwise, a nice upgrade to this type of game!
Bug: using the "delete" power freezes the game. Reseting the app reverts the game back to before the power was used. Highly aggravating. Other than that, fun and addictive.
Doesn't honor Back Button. This app will not move to the background when the Back button is pressed. You have to go to the task list and manually kill it. The back button is a staple of the Android experience. Terrible design decision.
It's a great way of using up your time, but with the power ups, or special abilities, makes me so confused because I can't understand what it's supposed to mean.
Overall a miserable experience. 2048: wait times and give us money.
Everything they added was prroly done and likely done in a night or two. Rant oncoming: CPU fan is instead called CPU fun. Also it doesn't save your settings for sound so Everytime you play it blast a horrible swoosh sound at your face, and the names for the upgrades make no sense at all, you can't add ram to a GPU, and a microchip isn't faster than a larger chip, a CPU is a microchip and they all use transistors.
It's a pretty fun concept but it does get slow later on and there are a few annoying bugs. Way too slow and unpolished compared to Byte Master.
I'm playing the game i know from before that had poorer animation and feeling, and i'm seing this new options which should be point of choosing this version over original, and i have no idea what am i doing. What does what? Why should i buy sny of the upgrades and what is the point. Final thought: you urgently need to add some info and explaining of the features, else it feels like a waste of potential.
It's a perfect mashup of 2048 and cookie clicker. It will consume your soul in two ways at once. It's very exciting. Please resist.
Good play on the standard 2's and 5's game, but the game doesn't remember that I've turned off the sound when I log out and reopen. Please look into this devs, as its the reason I wont give it 5 stars!
Bought the last hint with 50 cents... Hint didn't unlock, trying to buy it again doesn't and app force closes from now and on. Spent over a month of my life playing this trash game FOR NOTHING. Fix your broke-ass game or REFUND ME MY 50 CENTS YOU THIEF.
They've actually managed to make a game of 2048 inconvenient. Great work.
It addicting, and getting that upgrade to the next byte always feels good. The only complaint is the settings dont save
I cant find anyway to make the game idle. Took me a few minutes just to figure out how to play. No instructions. Maybe its just the "genre" and Im supposed to know but this is the first 2048 game I played. Im rather lost
Easy to play, but hard to understand at first. No instructions are really given to you. It plays like a classic 2048 game but has a money/time system and upgrades like an idle game and a level up system. All the games features and well implemented. I definitely recommend this game, if you like 2048 and idle games you will love this.
Excellent. Spoiler Alert: Last item: Alien Tech w/ X-Cube upgrade. Turning Wi-Fi off and turning time *backward*, and spam-clicking "reduce timer" _may_ unlock all hints.
If you can figure out how to play it's really fun. The main problem is that there's no instructions. I'm guessing that that's what the hints are for, but for $0.99 I'm not buying them.
Would give 5 stars, but the Reset Game button is right next to Clear Field. Really dumb misclick will wipe everything, including any coins you've earned or bought...
A 2048 game should not run this slow. I know it's got to do the idle on the side as well, but when that causes the entire game to lag on a $500 phone there's something wrong. Also the options don't even save after relaunching the game. Could be a much better game if it weren't for the lag. I also think the RNG isn't all that good either. Is get to a point where the same number spawns in the same spot until it can no longer spawn in that spot. Same spot 8 times with 5 other open isn't good RNG.
This is a great game for if you just want a nice fun time waster. So say you in school and bored you can play this game to pass the time you could be using to study
It isn't working for me now! It says 0bytes and none of my buttons show up, nor do any numbers on the sliders???
After playing for a few hours the top portion of the game has left an after image on my phone screen. The game itself is a nice twist on 2048
I rate 4 stars because only 1 problem. You will lost your progress if you reinstall this app. Even if you join Google Play Games. I want the developer change it can save if you join Google Play Games and go to your biggest progress. Can it be fixed?
I really like what you made out of 2048, and it makes me really want to get to higher levels and stuff, esxept for that the 'idle' of the game is pretty helpless.. maybe buff it a bit.
For a 2048 game this is bad, laggy and unresponsive to touch has no persistence of settings between loads, and it feels like it's programmed to make you fail by only giving the worst possible tiles. The tools would be a redeeming factor except that they take either hours to recharge, cost actual money or make you watch ads, none of which are fun in such large doses. As an idle/incremental it is stifling, the offline progression is so slow as to be negligible vs any active play and the points you do make are only worth anything to make more points. And in general it's not worth levelling up anything too soon because the challenges to get more coins don't use absolute counts but relative ones and buying a 50th or sometime higher of an item is extra sometimes prohibitively expensive if the first one is one or two more let alone dozens. The whole thing could be fixed to some degree, rewrite without unity, it's not a graphical game, unity isn't needed so those libraries slow it down. Make those challenges stuck to the total brought ever. And make the coins the way of buying those tools rather than use them in the shop for more pointless points, so long as you can still earn them in game, even at a slow rate of 1 per hour plus any through challenges etc. The coins would then also be worth it to buy from IAPs in bulk rather than 99p for a single single use item which the idea of paying for only depresses me.
It's just like the original 2048 game but with the added element of IDLE. It's really fun and can get quite addictive. Got no kind of tutorial or help at the beginning so you get thrown right into it but it's not that hard. Much enjoyed.
Needs more help buttons, and the ones that it has now should work whenever they're on the screen even if the function they're describing isn't available at the time.

Combining the concept of an idle game and 2048 is really innovative, but lack of animation when sliding tiles makes gameplay somwhat uncomfortable, especially for player who had played the original 2048 like me.
It's a very nice twist on the typical clicking game. I enjoyed it very much. The only thing I would want changed is for it to explain a bit better. Great game!
Addicted to this more than I am to coke a cola
I dont know why it is titled idle, and leveling up is hard enough when after level one you need to clear your progress twice before you can go up another level
Progression us far too slow. Ads all over the place.

You either watch a bunch of ads to be able to keep your score after a round or you start over. You have the option to idle for a period of time but that gets boring. The game itself it good and fun to play.
