Ancient Empire: Strike Back

I played the prequel and sequel of this game on java, I played the campaign mode a million times and I still love it! I also enjoy the skirmish modes. Thanks for making this game available on android. On some levels the game glitches quite a lot, please fix this. You could also do better with controls, make them more visible and clear and please don't make any unnecessary changes to the gameplay, Commander resurrection should be available in castle once he dies, instead the game is lost! Fix this!

The Cpu takes so much time to think and it still makes mistakes, even hard difficulty. My favorite level is 4 and the finale. For anyone having trouble, the strategy is to drag the war on as long as possible, the AI sucks at war of attrition, keeps your unit alive and use sorceress's skeletons. When their frontline weaken, you've success.

can u make instead of pvp maybe coop and online? My friend live far away from me n we like games like this but versus ai. In future maybe custom factions? Like elves dwarves orcs etc. This game is awesome i dont mind paying for it!! Plss add my request i beg u T.T

Developers should've spent less time on useless settings and more time on useful in-game info. It would've made this game a million times better.

One of my favorite games on Java phones! I was like 6 back then! I've been remembering the gameplay and all the other stuff but I cant recall the title. Oh boy I'm lucky today!!! Thanks for this can't wait to play this good stuff again!!! Thanks for filling the hole in my reminiscing!! Edit: Please add the epic fighting animations :(

I still remember playing this game on my old Nokia phone. All time fav! Took me a while to finish the game back then, but when you do, you'll surely be coming back for more. I'm so glad I found this again! <3

But it lags and gets stuck for couple seconds during skirmishes or big levels. It used to work amazing when it was 650kb for Java. Now its 30mb on android and still not smooth on a 3gb RAM phone..smh

A.I isn't the best. I love the Rock/Paper/Scissors of this game. Every unit has a purpose and a place. I'll be in waiting for another installment. (Hoping for a healing type unit)

Wow. Zero effort was put here. Just upscales graphics and no animations. Terrible

Nothing beats the classic. I suggest you make ANCIENT EMPIRES 3. since this came from jurassic age, where its like new characters and story. Just saying.

I'm just happy someone finally ported the original version over to android. Minor issues like Adverts between turns & no fight animation doesnt ruin the fun too much especially when it's not original developer. Try turning off your wifi and mobile data so it can't load new ads. I found the AI to be very easy to beat, everyone complaining it's too difficult must not be using the environment and enemy blocking to their advantage. Slow AI is biggest issue. Thank you for this port tho I really enjoyed it ☺

Many maps. Fun in principle. Graphics / animations pause inexplicably which makes for long waits for the AI or between turns.

Good Game, many good game from java. And not all java games have android version. So i am very appreciate make us nostalgic. I love this game since 2008 /9 when i still play it on SE W200i :D

Works fine for me - works real smooth. Despite all my time invested in complicated PC games, this game is areal toughy. You'll be struggling to pass even the early levels of the game, but even so it'll bring you back time and time again. It's a pretty timeless game because of its complex simplicity - sort of like Civ4 or some of the retro classics. Definitely worth a try!

Liked it better when it was on java, where are the animations? I liked the game majorly because of those animations, they were silly but also a major source of excitement! Now the game is just too fast... (edit: It was from macrospace), if you guys are the developers please make it from the scratch for Android too. With little better textures and animations? Look at the rating for god sake! 4.5 for "THIS"...

Level 2 is pretty much impossible. Enemy has more hp and does 2x more damage and starts with major strategical advantage. Way too hard for second level of the game. Maybe I'm missing something but you literally slowly get crippled now and more and can never get enough resources to get back on your feet.

Can't believe that all unit is been changed.. I think you all must think again for that.. The original unit is better.. How could the catapult range just 4?? No unit can heal the other unit?? Archer can counter attack?? No hope to keep our unit alive with on open place.. The Ancient Empire Reload is better in case for unit..

LIKED IT OMG!! I've started playing this game on my old phone since many years ago then I played it again now and still loved it. Only one that still be the question, where is the battle action scene? Is it cut? By the way, is there any game like this? Thanks.

The level 4 stage were close too impossible to clear. The opponent's starting army were too powerful even for the easy mode. I have played many games like this such as advance wars, but this is absurbly difficult at such early stage. Also, it will be good if the game could display how much damage our troops would make on the enemies before every attacks. Please rectify.

Please before you give a bad rating because some minor issue or the game is too hard for you. try to use ur head first, when you cant clear the stage at the first try thats where you got the challenge!

This could be a fantastic game if it was not so frustrating. Its like being given a stick and expected to take down a gladiator with a lance. Some units in the early game are just unnecessarily powerful. Plus, the enemy always CLEARLY has the advantage. My soldiers would do 1-15 damage to the other army. His inflicts a whooping 30-50 amount to my soldiers most of the time . His units levels up after one or two battlrs, mine has to suffer through three to five. It irritating.

Please turn down the ads, it's excessive to see one every 3 turns. The game is fun, but interaction with the UI is sloppy. Pretty much Advance Wars with a different skin - which is fine. With 15-20 units in the map the game starts to lag heavily (you can see the attack animations frozen for a second or two). This is from a Samsung Galaxy S3. Definitely has room for improvement on the performance

Cool concept - love it really. However, I am a seasoned RTS gamer and this is extremely challenging even a couple levels into the campaign.. The enemy starts with wayyy too many units. It's just not fun, and it takes a long time. Feels like a chess match where I'm just starting with less pieces. Not a good difficulty scale design.. Even for all the good qualities this game brings, I think I'm going to have to uninstall.

Ads get annoying but not that bad. Game gets a little boring as you are always at a disadvantage. For free not bad.

I had played the java version few years back and completed the levels l. I feel this is a very addictive game and I keep on playing it. The only problem I faced is it is a high power consuming app and I don't know why

I really enjoyed this fan-made sequel. Thank you for giving me chance to enjoy this game again. For those of you who are irritated by the advertisements, simply turn off your wifi and they will not show up anymore.

sometimes when playing the game skirmish or level, enemy units atk my units twice in a turn. like full health dragon dies when just a single archer attack it in a single turn. the dragon would receive double atk from the arch like 51 & 49. dont understand how or why. pls fix bug

Perhaps if you were to put more effort into the animations, the gamr might be more enjoyable. Also, do you HAVE to que ads whenever someone ends their turn? People will get annoyed by the ads interrupting their gameplay if they were to be qued there. Perhaps you should put them somewhere else, like when someone starts a scenario. Angry Birds Epic does this, placing ads before the start of a match as to not interrupt gameplay. Lastly, consider changing the font to be more like pixel art. As it stands, it currently clashes with the art style.

Played the game 6years ago. Now play it again in the same way. Best turn based strategy. Vote 5 if the animation comes. I missed the golem wkwk

AI is alot more dumb that it was in original. Lags like hell. Use to have lowest dmg 0 now its 1 (yes that's a problem). Changed wisp from how it use to work(that's huge problem). How you buy units is also huge problem. There are other stuff to point out, but I don't have enough leters to write. Overall bad remake of the original.

I like the game, it's pretty enjoyable, but there isn't much in the way of map editing. I hope you can add some more terrain and structures (grass would be nice, and as for structures, maybe a watch tower that increases an archer's range/attack) but hey, not a bad game

Has the promise to be an excellent game but it hits you way to hard, too soon. First mission is child's play but the second is way to harsh. Has potential to be an excellent game.

I love it so much, but where is the animation of attacking soldier, I like to watch them jumping and attacking and then go back again.. So I will give 4 for this game until what I ask fullfil

This is the best turn base game i think. No need to upgrade your town hall storage blablabla so u can crush someone below your level or use your money to buy gem/gold to faster your civilization . Only u have to do in this game is experience and just use ur brain. That's why I hope we can play PvP online.

I would give 5 stars if the developer adds the map editor.. so far so good.. I really missed this game when it was created in java..

I wanted to buy the pro version, but guys seriously? So expensive. Please make the pro cheaper and I buy it for sure
