Pls add combat animation it looks boring if an archer throws only skulls then damage pls add combat animation and besides its in the original version by the way your game is good :)

No animations. Why can enemy troops move trough yours troops? Fix it and I will buy it.

Fantastic overall! Wizards are totally busted haha. Obviously missing some features like saving that were addressed in the later installments, but still really fun to play! To the developer's comment to another response saying the game is too hard - unfortunately the ai is not hard, rather the campaigns are set up to be hard. Still loved it! Always nice to find a strategy game with a bit of challenge. Oh - to whoever said it was mathematically impossible - it's a tactics game after all ;)

It was my favorite java game.. But I hope that there will also be an animation on the game whenever an army attacks an enemy. It's somehow thrilling to watch how the life points of an army decrease, and right now I'm enjoying it but a little bit boring.

Can't even get through a single game without 30 ads popping up that have buggy close icons that just end up opening the ad link...... it's an ok game, but the ads remove any fun.

Levels are way too hard right from the beginning I've played turn based games my whole life and never seen one where there is no way to win I'm on reinforcement lvl and cant even get to first house before I'm surrounded and no money to buy soldiers to defend it's not even good a.i. It's just too many enemies

really missed the game from the old java days, so nice that i can now play it on android. i think it would be nicer if the developer could change the opening pic with the original ancient empires 1 pic. and it would be nice if there would is also SAVE button. as i recall before arch & catapults shouldnt atk back when atk by ranged archers then enemy units shouldnt be passing through your units like strategically placing your forces so that enemy units couldnt go through. i wish it would be fixed. nice job ☺

Retro turn based strategy in the genre like advanced wars. Perfect port to modern devices.

But needs more lvls adding to it

The AI is too basic I win way too easy

Not balanced forces, AI greatly advantaged and literally pass thru player units. Needs fixed and it would be quite good

Holy cow! I just put ''ancient empires'' in the search box hoping to find a similar game, and what do I find? This old gem from the olden days when master Symbian was the mobile O.S. king. This brings back some goddamn sweet ass memories! Thanks dev for this port! Gratitude level > 9000!

I remember playing this game and the sequel in my nokia. Can you also port the Rise of Antares? Thats a good game too.

The main attraction of this game for me was the fighting animation. I hope in the near future, you will add that feature. Still feels great seeing this game.

How does one even beat chapter 5? I cant seems to back my moves when I make a mistake and cant save it too, like long ago

As a new player, I'm afraid the difficulty level put me right off. Shame, as this is a very nicely presented game. A tutorial or a few initial easier levels would go a long way to fixing this.

Only gave 4 stars because it is too hard...so I can't really play it.
